Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate solutions of boundary value problems of second-roder differential operator by  variational methods. Using variational formulation of the problems, existence of solutions of boundary value problems of second-order differential operator can be obtained.

Abstract

If  given a couple of data  and  the  relationship  between  variable x and y is revealed as nonparametric regression model with is an error which is random variable with zero mean and variance  and is unknown function. If is an additive function with x  Rd, d ≥ 2. By using link function F, this research is focused on the way to get the estimator in additive component with link function by using two-stage methode and completed with simulation using logit link function. The result shows that two-stage estimator is eisier be used to model nonparametric regression by link function rather than Nadaraya-Watson and local linear. From the simulation, it’s obtained that of the mean and R2 value of the estimator is similar.

Abstract

This paper proposes a method to critical path analysis in the project network using max-plus algebra approach.  The project network would be represented as a matrix over max-plus algebra. The dynamic of the project would be modeled and analyzed using max-plus algebra approach. The critical path analysis consists of determining earliest start time, latest completion time and float time. The finding show that the dynamic of the project is could be modeled in a systems of max-plus linear equations. The earliest start times of every node in the project are the solution of the system. The latest completion times of every node in the project are the solution of the modified system. The float time of every activity in the project could be detemined by modify and do some matrices operation over earliest start time vector and latest completion time vector. An example for modeling and computing a project using MATLAB example show that the result was appropriated with the critical path method (CPM).

Abstract

. Linear Fractional Programming (LFP) problem is general form of Linear Programming (LP) problem. LFP problem arise when there is requirement to optimalize the efficiency of some activity. The efficiency related to the most productive way to use the scarce resources. Many method have been published to solve LFP problem. In this final project explained two methods, Charnes-Cooper’s method and Hasan-Acharjee’s method. The both method use a transformation to change LFP problem become LP problem, then solved by simplex method. Finally, it is concluded that there is comparison that the Charnes-Cooper’s method can be applied in all of LFP form which the set of feasible solutions is non-empty and bounded, but the formed LP becoming more complex than Hasan-Acharjee’s method. Hasan-Acharjee’s method cannot be used when the constanta of denominator in objective function is zero.

Abstract

A fuzzy graph G(V,σ,μ) is a graph which consist of a set of fuzzy nodes σ : V ® [0,1] and a set of fuzzy edges µ: E® [0,1], so that μ(uv) ≤ σ (u) Ùσ (v) "u,vÎV. A fuzzy graph  G = (V,σ,μ) is called complete if μ(uv) = min{σ(u),σ (v)} "u,vÎV. A fuzzy graph G = (V,σ,μ) is called a bipartite fuzzy graph if set of nodes V can divide into two disjoint sets V1 and V2 so that μ(v1v2) = 0 if v1,v2ÎV1 or v1,v2ÎV2.  If on a bipartite fuzzy graph G, satisfy μ(uv) = min{σ (u),σ(v)} for all uÎV1 and vÎV2, then G is called a complete bipartite fuzzy graph.  A k-colouring on a fuzzy graph G(V,σ,μ) is a family of fuzzy sets on V:  G = {g1, g2, g3,…, gk} which satisfy the following conditions : i) Ú G = σ;  ii) gi Ù gj = 0, for all pair of nodes u, v, which adjacent in a fuzzy graph G and min{gi(u),gi(v)} = 0 (1 ≤ i ≤ k). The smallest positive integer k on k-colouring of a fuzzy graph G is called chromatic number of G. Then can be proved that the chromatic number of a complete fuzzy graph with n nodes is cF(Kσ) = n and the chromatic number of a complete bipartite fuzzy graph is cF(Kσ1,σ2) = 2.

Abstract

Teknik Watermarking banyak digunakan untuk melindungi data digital dari upaya pembajakan dalam bentuk penggandaan secara illegal. Banyak metode yang sudah dikembangkan baik dalam domain spasial, frekuensi maupun domain wavelet. Dalam tulisan ini sistem watermarking yang dibahas adalah domain wavelet dengan menggunakan transformasi wavelet diskrit (discrete wavelet transform) yang diujikan pada beberapa keluarga wavelet dengan menggunakan faktor skala yang berbeda. Abstract

In the specific cases of experiment, not all data (response) may be available, which is called missing response cases. It’s appear for various reasons.  For the existing problem, inference statistics cannot be applied directly.  The aim of this research is to consider about certain method to impute the missing response which is related to semiparametric regression, as a goodness of fit measurement of the used method, suppose an estimator  which is compared to the mean of complete response, then consider asymptotic distribution, consistency and efficiency of parametrics component estimator. By using Kernel approximation, the resulted of nonparametrics estimator and by least square method, the resulted parametric component .The application to minimum temperature’s data in 56 cities at USA, estimator value of  for several confidence interval tend to be similar to the mean value of complete response.
