Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CORE learning model assisted  by  Macromedia  Flash  8 on  students'  mathematical  problem  solving abilities. This research method uses Groub Design Posttest-Only Control. The population in this study were all eighth grade students in State Middle School 15 Palembang in the 2018/2019 school year. The study sample was 59 students consisting of 30 students from class VIII.9 as the experimental class and 29 students from class VIII.8 as the control class. Samples were taken using Simple Random Sampling techniques. Data was collected through tests of students' mathematical problem solving skills in relation material and functions. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Independent Sample T-Test t-test. The results of the Posttest analysis mean the value of the experimental  class  is  80.34  and  the  average  value  of  the  control  class  is  73.10. Research shows that there is a significant effect of the CORE learning model assisted by Macromedia Flash 8 on mathematical problem solving abilities of students of Palembang State Middle School 15.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Teacher Competency Test (UKG) policy at Palembang State High School 10. This study uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, with qualitative or naturalistic methods. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Determination of informants is done by snowball sampling. In this sampling technique the researcher had previously determined a key informant as the initial data source. The informants were the Head of Palembang State High School 10, Deputy Head of SMAN 10 Palembang, and 3 teachers from Palembang State High School who participated in the UKG. Data analysis techniques in this study used an interactive analysis method with three stages of qualitative analysis, namely: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Withdrawal and Verification. Based on the results of the research and discussion it was concluded that the implementation of the Teacher Competency Test (UKG) policy at Palembang State High School 10 was concluded that in terms of two dimensions, namely the contents of the policy and the context of its implementation. The content of the policy reviewed by the Teacher Competency Test (UKG) is beneficial for teachers and is useful for decision makers to map teacher performance. But in reality, the resources involved in UKG policies are still not optimal, this is evident from the many obstacles that occur in the field. Judging from the context of implementation, the Teacher Competency Test (UKG) policy at Palembang State Senior High School still has a weakness, namely the lack of socialization, which has led to a reaction of rejection from the teacher, and the implementation of training that has not yet run, but one activity towards improving can already be done.

Abstract

Lecturing activities ideally that there is a good interaction between teachers and lecturers. But there are still things that become polemic in the lecture is the existence of students who have no motivation to follow the ongoing lectures with various causes. The purpose of this study is to determine the description of student motivation in following the lecture. This research is quantitative descriptive. The research population is all students of 3rd semester at Universitas PGRI Palembang 2016/2017 academic year as many as 68 people. The sample size is 58 people using Slovin formula. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire using Likert scale model. Data analysis techniques using the formula percentage. The findings of this study indicate that the motivation of students guidance and counseling PGRI Palembang universities included in the category of being. This is seen on the average score of 78.4, with a frequency of 24 or can be in percentage with a value of 41.4%. By knowing the description of motivation, it is expected to help lecturers to improve the quality of teaching by applying various teaching methods, as well as for students to improve themselves by increasing the motivation in following the lecture by following the guidance and counseling services both in classical, group and individual in Guidance and Counseling Unit. Keywords─ Student motivation in following lectures

Abstract

Abstract— This research model aims to understand the AIR model that emphasizes the critical thinking skills of students of SMP Negeri 17 Palembang. Only this study uses the Research Only Posstest Control Design. The sample in this study was class VII.1 as an experimental class using the AIR learning model and class VII.2 as a control class using conventional learning. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using t-test which was first issued with a test of normality and homogeneity. The results of this study prove there is a AIR learning model on mathematical critical thinking, this can be seen from the average final test of students who are given learning with the AIR learning model that is 75.53 higher than students who are earmarked for conventional learning totaling 54, 44 Keywords— Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) Model, Ability                        Critical Mathematical Thinking, Mathematical Disposition. Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model AIR mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMP Negeri 17 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan perlakuan Posstest Only Control Design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran AIR dan kelas VII.2 sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji-t yang terlebih dahulu diuji dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran AIR mempunyai pengaruh terhadap berpikir kritis matematis, Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata tes akhir siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran AIR yaitu 75,53 lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang diberi perlakuan dengan pembelajaran konvensional yaitu sebesar 54,44  Kata Kunci— Model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR), Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis

Abstract

The role of the family is very important to improve the literacy of children, because the family is the smallest unit in the community and is the first learning environment for children. The national movement of parents reading books to children (GERNAS BAKU) is a movement to support the role of families to foster interest in reading children through habituation at home, in early childhood or in the community. PAUD Al-Jamil is one of the early childhood institutions located in Banyuasin district that seeks to promote this GERNAS BAKU program so that children of early age will grow their interest and love to read. The activities conducted at PAUD Al-Jamil Institute for GERNAS BAKU are ( 1) to socialize what is GERNAS BAKU. (2) Parenting Activity with Theme How to Grow Children's Reading Interest "(3) Parents Activity Reads Books at School. The activities of Gernas Baku have been successfully done in PAUD Al-Jamil institution, this is proven by the happiness of children with reading picture book activities provided by the school. This activity aims to teach parents how to familiarize reading stories from an early age, strengthening the emotional social relationships between children and parents, and fostering interest in children reading from an early age

Abstract

Abstract— Early childhood education in Indonesia has developed rather significantly within a few years. There are many models of early childhood education that can become people’s choice for their children’s education.Starting from day care center (TPA),Playgroup till kindergarten (TK/RA).These early childhood education models of for several excelent program, either a halfday or fullday.Halfday means education that lasts for half day, while full day means education that takes place for a day full.The objective of this writting is to describe the early childhood education models and their innovations.Completed with the analysis of strengths and weakness of each available model.It is expected that this writting can be a references for parents to choose and decided the fast and best education for their children,which is suitable with their own interest,talent and ability.Then there will be so many innovations in early childhood  education will can be facilitation children growth optimaly, and in the next time can be present the indonesian development. Keywords— models,innovations and Early childhood education Abstrak— Pendidikan anak usia dini di Indonesia sudah mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan dalam beberapa tahun ini. Banyak model pendidikan anak usia dini yang dapat menjadii pilihan masyarakat untuk pendidikan buah hatinya. Mulai dari Daycare Center(TPA), Play Group sampai Taman Kanak-anak (TK/RA). Model-model pendidikan anak usia dini tersebut menawarkan beberapa program unggulan, baik yang sifatnya halfday maupun fullday. Halfday merupakan pendidikan yang berlangsung setengah hari, sedangkan fullday ialah pendidikan yang berlangsung satu hari penuh. Tujuan dari penulisan ini ialah untuk menggambarkan model-model pendidikan anak usia dini beserta Inovasinya di yang dilengkapi dengan analisis keunggulanan kelemahan masing-masing model yang ada. Harapannya hal ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi orang tua dalam memilih dan menentukan pendidikan cepat dan terbaik untuk buah hatinya yang sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan masing-masing. Abstract

The general purpose of this paper was to describe the character education in families through language. The specific purposes were 1) the definition of character; 2) the definition of education; 3) character education; 4) family definition; 5) how to instill character education through language education in the family. Character is a collection of good behavior of a human. Child education in the family is done through parenting by the parents. The education of characters in the family through the language can be done with the selection of diction in communication. The elderly can choose the right diction in accordance with the purpose of communication. Dies selected by parents will vary according to emotion. The use of language is started from early childhood until he becomes an adult.

Abstract

Educational technology in general can be interpreted as the application of technology to educational activities. The most important thing here is the process of integration between people, ideas, organizations and equipment. Based on this assumption, educational technology can be interpreted as a logical, systematic, and scientific approach to educational activities. Development of Educational Technology is currently undergoing very rapid changes, especially in the field of education. In the use of ICTs in the field of education often face several obstacles, including: the lack of procurement of ICT infrastructure in various regions, the use of used technology equipment, the lack of legal instruments in the ICT field, and the high cost of procurement and use of ICT facilities. To solve the problems mentioned above, there needs to be a solution as a condition for the successful implementation of ICT in the learning process, namely: teachers and students must have access to digital and internet technology in schools, interactive learning materials that use laptops / computers, teachers must have the ability and skills in using digital tools, there must be sufficient budget to hold, develop, and maintain facilities and infrastructure and support from all parties, principals, teachers, and students in implementing ICT learning.

Abstract

Abstract- Mathematics is one of the subjects listed in the curriculum and needs to be given to all learners from elementary school to high school, but not a few children who are less fond of math and even math is considered a difficult lesson and a scourge for students. Many factors that cause mathematics are considered difficult lessons, among them are the characteristics of abstract, logical, systematic, and full of confusing symbols and formulas. In addition, the experience of learning mathematics with an unpleasant teacher, helped to shape the negative attitude of students to math lessons. Characteristics of mathematics lessons that require high concentration in learning make the challenge for every math teacher. Tantanggannya is how to make the learning becomes fun for students, because learning mathematics fun will increase student interest to math lessons. One way that can make students become happy to learn math is by presenting mathematical material through a math game. Keywords: learning, math, math games. Abstrak- Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang tercantum dalam kurikulum dan perlu diberikan kepada semua peserta didik dari sekolah dasar sampai dengan sekolah menengah atas, tetapi tidak sedikit anak yang kurang menyukai pelajaran matematika bahkan pelajaran matematika dianggap pelajaran yang sulit dan menjadi momok bagi siswa. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan matematika dianggap pelajaran sulit, diantaranya adalah karakteristik materi matematika yang bersifat abstrak, logis, sistematis, dan penuh dengan lambang-lambang dan rumus yang membingungkan. Selain itu pengalaman belajar matematika bersama guru yang tidak menyenangkan, turut membentuk sikap negatif siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika. Karakteristik pelajaran matematika yang membutuhkan konsentrasi yang tinggi dalam pembelajaran, menjadikan tantangan bagi setiap guru matematika. Tantanggannya adalah bagaimana cara agar pembelajaran itu menjadi menyenangkan bagi siswa, karena pembelajaran matematika yang menyenangkan akan meningkatkan minat  siswa terhadap pelajaran matematika. Salah satu cara yang dapat membuat siswa menjadi senang belajar matematika adalah dengan menyajikan materi matematika melalui suatu permainan matematika. Kata Kunci : belajar, matematika, permainan matematika
