Abstract

Projected values of local wisdom in literary works can be a controlling attitude in global society. Through literary works, it can be obtained moral and ethical values that have been filtered through civilization of a cultured society. Literature is able to present knowledge and information, insight, precise and valuable experience, and educated through various types of literary works such as novels, short stories, poetry and drama. All of these values contains values, including local wisdom. Values that derived from local wisdom can serve as values of moral character and values of moral performance. These values are very important to know, studied, discovered, and transferred through educational activities. In the field of education,  the delivery of local wisdom values in literary works can be created through teaching and learning in classroom, family, and other appreciative activitiesin society. The value of local wisdom can be used as moral and performance character that are needed in facing global challenges. The influence of globalization reflects the changes of time and space concepts and the existence of cultural interactions. Therefore, literature plays an important role in spinning understanding of soul, character, culture, and social civilization into a power and force in facing the globalization. So that, the kindness values contained based on local wisdom in literary works have to be well explored, elaborated, transformed and communicated to public through the support of all parties.  Keywords— literature, values, local wisdom, global

Abstract

Belitung Regency, which is administratively located within the province of Bangka Belitung, holds its own uniqueness. This writing aims in addition to know the life of the tribe of the sea (tribe sawang) in Belitung, also understand the forms of local wisdom that can integrate between the tribe of sawang and indigenous people in the area. Data analysis in this research is done through qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, participatory, interview, and documentation. The result of the research shows that the close relationship between fellow tribe and tribe of sawang and indigenous people in Belitung can not be separated from historical factor and cultural activity which often done and facilitated by local government always giving place for tribe of sea . Keywords - Integration, Local Wisdom, Multiculturalism, Ethnicity

Abstract

Abstract. The aim of this study is to enhance student learning outcomes through group investigation method based on self study. This study is a quasy experimental with factorial design, the object of study is all students of class XII SMK Azzahro’ Palembang. The instrument of study is a questionnaire and test. Data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA with SPSS. Analysis result showed that learning group investigation method has significant effect towards student learning outcomes and students’ self study has significant effect toward student learning outcomes. The learning outcomes of students who have high category of self study is better enhanced compared with students who have medium and low category of self study during the application of group investigation method. Key Words: Learning outcomes, Group Investigation Method, Self Study Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode investigasi kelompok berdasarkan kemandirian belajar. Peneltian ini merupakan studi kuasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial, objek penelitian ialah selurus siswa kelas XII SMK Azzahro’ Palembang, instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan tes, teknik analisis data menggunakanANOVA dua jalur berbantu SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode investigasi kelompok berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dan kemamndirian belajar juga berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, hasil belajar siswa dengan katagori kemandirian belajar tinggi lebih baik dibandingkan hasil belajar siswa dengan katagori kemandirian belajar sedang dan rendah seiring dengan penerapan metode investigasi kelompok Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar, Metode Investigasi Kelompok, Kemandirian Belajar

Abstract

In this article, Teacher is a Profession who prepares human resources to meet the nation’s development in filling Independence. Teachers with all their abilities and effort to prepare learning for learners. So it is not wrong if we put a teacher as one of the keys for developments of nation develop nation in the future. Shaping personality through character of education is absolutely necessary, by following the figures who are worthy of being followed. This article took a descriptive qualitative research. This research provided an overview of the students’ character and gave the solutions in character based learning for students in Banyuasin regency, especially for Senior high school students in Puspita Air Kumbang Banyuasin regency. To get the data the researcher used observation, interviews, and documentations. The results this study explained that in Senior high school Puspita Air Kumbang Banyuasin regency, the students love their homeland very much, responsibility, dicipline, reading interest, religious, environment cares, spirit of nationalism and friendship. Therefore, teachers had an important role in character building of nation.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this research is to analyze Kolb-Knisley model to the students' reasoning ability of SMP. This research is library litelatur so that the data collection method used is documentation, that is, to track the written source which contains the theme and topic to be discussed. This research type is qualitative , furthermore this research is done by seeing and connecting which characteristic of indicator of mathematical reasoning ability with characteristic of Kolb-Knisley model itself. From the results of research litelatur data can be concluded that the mathematical reasoning ability of students who learn with Kolb-Knisley model better than students who learn with conventional strategies in junior high school students. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis model  Kolb- Knisley terhadap kemampuan penalaran siswa SMP.penelitian ini adalah litelatur perpustakaan sehingga metode pengumpulan data yang di gunakan adalah dokumentasi, yaitu melacak sumber tertulis yang berisikan tema dan topik yang akan di bahas jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, selanjutnya penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melihat dan menghubungkan yang menjadi ciri khas dari indikator kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan karakteristik model Kolb- Knisley itu sendiri. Dari hasil penelitian litelatur data dapat di simpulkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa yang belajar dengan model  Kolb- Knisley lebih baik di bandingkan siswa yang belajar dengan strategi konvensional pada siswa SMP. Kata kunci: Kolb Knisley, kemampuan penalaran

Abstract

The problem of Euthanasia is a complex and highly controversial issue, so it involves many confusing questions that give rise to the pros and cons, some agree and reject the reason, violate nature as a human being who has no right to terminate ones life. The issue of life is the absolute property of the creator of nature and its contents. The oath of Hippocrates is a vow traditionally committed by doctors in which two ideas are present: the willingness to help the sufferer and refuse to help the person to commit suicide. These two ideas are included in the code of ethics of medicine. These oaths help medical workers to deal with new situations and problems because of the possibility of a "delay" during death that even becomes blurred with sophisticated technology. The procedure of termination of life with the term Euthanasia clearly violates the teachings of religion, the Code of Ethics of Medicine and the Law - Criminal Code 344, is not justified by any reason. Man should have control over oneself by not breaking the law. Proof of patience, resignation and struggle for a life that requires Advercity Quotiont intelligence.

Abstract

The educational system that has been managed in a bureaucratic and centralized climate is considered one of the causes causing deterioration in the quality and excellence of education in the country. Because bureaucracy always places power as the most decisive factor in the decision-making process. Ironically the principal and the teachers' councils as the one who best understands the reality of education are in a supported place. Though they should be the most role as decision makers in overcoming various daily problems that facing efforts to improve the quality of education. But they are in a position of helplessness and depression with a variety of standardization in the form of operational and technical guidelines. However, with the emergence of regional autonomy, there is also an education reform, in which case policy and decision authority are in school. This is all implemented because education is part of the most important asset to improve the dignity of the nation. School quality improvement management is a transfer of authority and responsibility of education and the community, which the quality improvement process is planned, organized, implemented and self-evaluated by the school in accordance with the school's needs involving all elements associated with the school. One of the parties responsible for the successful improvement of the quality of education in schools is the principal. The progress of a school's retreat depends on the principal because the principal is the key to success in an institution. The principal will be a figure for all the citizens of the school because it is at the forefront and can be measured success. With the enactment of school autonomy, the principal has a significant role in implementing programs already established by the school. Because it is known also, with the school principal kepiafayaan quality will be better. Abstract

The value of the regius and cultural characters in the art of the Flying Horse Barongs includes divine values, respect values, and life values that can be seen from symbolic forms. This study uses a qualitative method. This method seeks to explain how the value of character and cultural art of horse Trench Flying Palembang. The result of research on religious and cultural character values in the art of the horse dancing Barongsai is performed in the Baptist Elementary School. lions and some properties such as steel battles and a pair of big ropes, in addition to supporting the show there is lighting to make the show look more majestic, there is also music as a regulator of motion and attractions performed by Barongsai. The ritual value can be seen when the performance will be, where the Barongsai performs the prayer by doing the pies in front of the altar, given a splash of holy water and burning the hio made by the temperature or the trainer. The value of religious and cultural characters during the show can be seen when the Barongsai eat citrus leaves and then pay homage to the donors or the audience. The conclusion that the art of the horse lion dance has a religious and cultural value that contains divine values, respect values, and the value of life. Suggestions for the Flying Horse group to develop attractions such as Liong Kuda fly that spewed fire from his mouth in order to attract more people to watch.

Abstract

The general purpose of this paper was to describe the character education in families through language. The specific purposes were 1) the definition of character; 2) the definition of education; 3) character education; 4) family definition; 5) how to instill character education through language education in the family. Character is a collection of good behavior of a human. Child education in the family is done through parenting by the parents. The education of characters in the family through the language can be done with the selection of diction in communication. The elderly can choose the right diction in accordance with the purpose of communication. Dies selected by parents will vary according to emotion. The use of language is started from early childhood until he becomes an adult.

Abstract

Abstract— This paper explains how the elaboration model that a student does in the abstraction process of mathematical concepts. Every mathematical activity undertaken by a student will not be separated from the concept of mathematics itself, learning mathematical concepts are being started from the things are abstract. abstract is something that is not form, something intangible. The word abstract is closely related to the word abstraction. Abstraction itself is an important component of mental activity that aims to formulate basic concepts of mathematics. In the process of learning basic concepts of mathematics that have been studied previously must be re-emerged in the memory of students. storage of information at any time, which involves coding, storing, and retrieving. Setiap kegiatan matematika yang dilakukan seorang siswa tak akan terlepas dari konsep matematika itu sendiri, pembelajaran konsep matematika dimulai dari hal –hal yang bersifat abstrak. abstrak adalah sesuatu yang tidak berbentuk, sesuatu yang tidak berwujud. Kata abstrak sangat berkaitan erat dengan kata abstraksi. Abstraksi sendiri merupakan  kompenen penting dari aktivitas mental yang bertujuan untuk merumuskan konsep-konsep dasar materamatika. Dalam proses pembelajaran matematika konsep-konsep dasar yang telah dipelajari sebelumnya harus dimunculkan kembali dalam memori siswa. penyimpanan informasi di setiap waktu, yang melibatkan pengkodean, penyimpanan, dan pemanggilan kembali.
