Abstract

Character Education has become a hot topic today. Character Education has been transformed into something that is considered urgent in the millennial era. The government has realized that the younger generation is a valuable asset that will fill and determine the progress of the nation, so that it needs to be safeguarded and developed in accordance with the goals of the nation's education. Starting from that, this study aims to provide an overview of Character Education for the younger generation in the globalization and digital era today. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach with a method of observing data from existing facts and documents. As a result, it was concluded that in the current era of globalization / digital character education is very important as an effort to shape the character of a generation of people who are not only skilled and intelligent, but also noble. Despite facing various problems in the implementation process, but with the collaboration of various parties, the hope of forming intelligent Indonesian people and character in accordance with the Pancasila and religious values can be realized.

Abstract

Abstract — The Indonesian Language Teaching Program for Foreigners (BIPA) is increasingly widespread both in BIPA training institutions in Indonesia as well as in BIPA training institutions overseas. This development indicates that currently Indonesian language has started to reach the interest of foreigners both residing in Indonesia and overseas with various purposes. Unfortunately, as foreigners, they often make mistakes in Indonesian language. Due to the misuse of Indonesian language by foreigners, there needs to be a deeper study about what factors that cause foreigners make mistakes in the use of Indonesian language and about how to teach Indonesian language to foreigners by considering the theories of language acquisition, i.e. behaviorism, innatism, and interactionism. The purpose of this paper is to briefly describe the factors that cause foreigners make mistakes in the use of Indonesian language and the theories of language acquisition, namely behaviorism, innatism, and interactionism. Keywords — pengajaran, pembelajar, instruktur, BIPA, behaviorism, innatism, interactionismAbstrak — Program pengajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk Penutur Asing (BIPA) semakin marak dilaksanakan baik di lembaga-lembaga pelatihan BIPA dalam negeri maupun di lembaga-lembaga pelatihan BIPA luar negeri. Perkembangan ini menunjukkan bahwa saat ini Bahasa Indonesia sudah mulai dilirik dan diminati oleh penutur asing baik yang berada di Indonesia maupun di luar negeri dengan berbagai tujuan. Namun sebagai penutur asing, mereka seringkali melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia. Dengan adanya masalah berupa kesalahan penggunaan Bahasa Indonesia oleh penutur asing ini, perlu adanya sebuah kajian yang lebih dalam tentang faktor–faktor yang menyebabkan penutur asing melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia dan tentang bagaimana sebaiknya mengajarkan Bahasa Indonesia kepada penutur asing dengan mempertimbangkan teori-teori pemerolehan bahasa, yaitu teori  behaviorist, innatist, dan interactionist.Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk memaparkan secara singkat faktor–faktor yang menyebabkan penutur asing melakukan kesalahan dalam berbahasa Indonesia dan teori-teori pemerolehan bahasa, yaitu teori behaviorist, innatist, dan interactionist. Kata Kunci — pengajaran, pembelajar, instruktur, BIPA, behaviorist, innatist, interactionist

Abstract

Abstract—This study aims to determine the benefits of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) or more commonly we know Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as an effective and creative learning media. ICT is a medium or a tool used to balance technological progress. This research method uses qualitative methods. Data collection techniques with triangulation (combined). With the use of ICT that is effective and efficient, attractive, optimal, and stimulates creativity for students, ICT becomes one of the learning media that is widely used in various fields of education because it increases the effectiveness and creativity  in the learning process. Keywords—ICT, Media, Learning Abstrak- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manfaat Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) atau yang lebih sering kita kenal Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dan keatif . ICT merupakan media atau alat bantu yang digunakan untuk menyeimbangi kemajuan teknologi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Metode Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan triangulasi (gabungan). Abstract

Characteristics of a nation are reflected in its people. Character values need to be implemented by society in everyday life because with characteristic that match with personality of nation, make us become civilized nation. Education is a way to instill the values of character to some people, especially learners who are the next generation of the nation. In each subject, character values can be applied, not least in math learning. Moreover, the planting of this character value is a government program that is illustrated and implemented in the curriculum used in Indonesia today. Implementation of character values in the process of learning mathematics can bring socio mathematical norms in it. Thus, the values of characters or characteristics that are formed not only within the learners (individual) but also formed from their social interaction obtained in the process of learning mathematics.

Abstract

Education will develop more and more, of course, supported by the existence of information and communication technology so that it becomes digital education that can support the advancement of the world of education. However, this technology-based education is still experiencing various obstacles and challenges. For example, remote areas that still lack the introduction of digital technology and networks so that there is a delay in the development of technology-based education.

Abstract

The Palembang community is a multiethnic society that is full of linguistic phenomena. Most of them are immigrants from outside Palembang, it will determine the use of the language used (Oktovianny, 2017: 895). Nowadays, in millenial generation, the use of Palembang language has become a language that mixes with other languages and can be mutually understood by fellow speakers. One of the words that is often used by the people of Palembang is gawe. In the Baso Palembang collection, the word gawe is defined as creating, working. The problem in this study was how the use and meaning of the word gawe to the habits of the Palembang people?. The purpose of this study was describe the use and meaning of the word gawe to the habits of the Palembang people. The type of research used in this study was qualitative research. In Sarosa (2017: 8), qualitative research is a study that attempts to understand the phenomenon in its setting and its natural context (not in the laboratory), i.e. the researcher does not attempt to manipulate the observed phenomena. In fact one word gawe can have many meanings when it is spoken by the Palembang people in everyday life for example, ado gawe, katek gawe, gawe apo, and apo gawe.Keywords— meaning, gawe, community, Palembang

Abstract

Abstract— background based on the author’s observations the library which should be used as a place to read is only usedas a place to store books.The study aims to describe the teacher understanding of GLS and the implemantation of GLS that teachers do to support the literacy movementt in SDN10 Air Salek.The method usedin c is a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive qualitative research.The result of the study show that the teacher’s understanding of the literacy movement in elementary schoolis quite good and adjusted to the ability or students.Class 1a ,techerss focuson improving reading and writing skills and in creasing confidence thtough activities singing compulsory songs,reading illustrated story book,while the GLS in class IVa is reading short letters,singing national compulsory songs,and reading multiplication.This research is usefull to add information about the implementation of GLS in primary school and can enrich scientific insights regarding the implemantions of  GLS in schools.Keywords— implementation, lyteracy mpvements, prymari school Abstrak— Latar belakang berdasarkan pengamatan penulis, perpustakaan yang seharusnya dijadikan tempat untuk membaca buku hanya dijadikan tempat menyimpan buku saja.. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemahaman guru tentang GLS dan pelaksanaan  GLS  yang guru lakukan untuk menunjang gerakan literasi di SDN 10 Air Saleh.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru tentang gerakan literasi di SD tersebut cukup baik, dan disesuaikan dengan kemampuan peserta didik.Guru kelas I A masih memfokuskan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri melalui kegiatan menyanyikan lagu wajib, membaca buku cerita bergambar  sedangkan GLS di kelas IVA yaitu membaca surat pendek, menyanyikan lagu wajib Nasional, dan membacakan perkalian. Penelitian ini bermanfaat menambah informasi mengenai implementasi GLS di Sekolah Dasar dan dapat memperkaya wawasan ilmu pengetahuan mengenai pelaksanaan GLS di sekolahKata Kunci— implementasi, gerakan literasi , sekolah dasar

Abstract

Global conception education is an educational process designed to prepare students with intellectual and responsible basic skills to enter a competitive and highly interdependent nation-state life. As a child of the nation both as educators or learners must have a high awareness that life is always related to global issues so that to be able to live a good life we must be able to open up to add insight and knowledge and technology literate so can compete with other countries. Concern for the preservation of the Environment, culture and local wisdom must also be maintained as the foundation of the Indonesian nation and it is not easy to generalize an event and be wiser in "interpreting an event". Keywords— Global Issues, Global Equity Education, Global Insighted Education

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the strategies used to implement ICT-based learning in the Rotan 1 National High School; 2) find out the challenges and obstacles in their application. This research was conducted using inductive qualitative methods. Data collection is done by interview, observation, documentation study, and study of research results. The results of the study indicate that the strategies used to implement ICT-based learning include 1) Multimedia-Based Presentation Learning; 2) Learning through video media; 3) Blended e-Learning. While the obstacles and challenges faced include 1). Lack of equipment availability and maintenance funds; 2). Poor infrastructure; 3) hidden curriculum is difficult to develop.

Abstract

Information Technology is a term to define everything or technological equipment that is able to make it easy for someone to make, change, store or even disseminate information to each other one of which is android where the function of Android is a communication tool such as smartphones where this smartphone is one of the most sophisticated science and technology products today. This is because mobile phones are able to access information in all corners of the world in a relatively short time and almost simultaneously and relatively inexpensive costs. Mobile phones can have a positive and negative impact on teachers. Possible efforts that can be applied to the negative impacts caused by mobile phones include the professionalism of teachers in use, in order to use mobile phones with smartphones at the right time. Even teachers can use smartphones as learning facilities and the most important information center and as a media tool.
