Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic situation is directly affecting both the health and economic sectors, especially in Indonesia. The synergy between university, community, and practitioner is needed as an effort for COVID-19 prevention and to help driving the economical sector in terms of the community service program. Sustainable development goals (SDGs) are the global actions that will be referred to as the community service program. The indicator analysis between global action and the outcomes of the community service program is performed to give further the recommendation related to the globally oriented program on solving a local problem. As a scheme of university tri dharma, SGDs based community service program has been implemented to the COVID-19 affected region, namely, a small business of convection in Wedi, Klaten, and health equipment distribution towards Wonosari hospital (RSUD). Program is evaluated in terms of ethical, social and economical dimension, yet the result intepretation is presented as well. The results of these activities have achieved the collaboration of community service activities with the mission of the SDGs on the implementation of the economy, health, and partnership sectors.

Abstract

Marketing is one of the determinant factors on business success, even though there are still many negligent companies and still use conventional systems so that their sales turnover is low. The COVID-19 pandemic also creates problems on sales turnover. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises of Batik Berkah Lestari Imogiri are among those affected by the pandemic. This is related to the conventional marketing system that has been implemented up to this time. In addition, government policies related to pandemics also limit life activities. People are no longer free to visit shopping centers, so they need to make transaction media without leaving their homes. The development of internet technology has presented a medium called a website. Its flexibility, convenience, and simplicity make webiste to be widely used. Moreover,  the existence of website will be used for Batik Berkah Lestari in marketing its products during the pandemic. This study aims to implement the website as an online transaction medium for Batik Berkah Letasri. By utilizing the website as a medium for electronic transaction, the market reach will be even wider so that transaction opportunities at Batik Berkah Lestari will be even greater.

Abstract

Replica is an imitation of an object in a size that is greatly reduced by the level of precision and detail that resembles the original object. One of the replica commonly made is a replica of transportation, especially buses, and one of the producers is Karang Taruna Dusun Bendungan, which is located in Karangmojo Subdistrict, Gunung Kidul District. Making replica so far has been done manually by relying on the cutter as a forming tool. In making manuals there are several obstacles faced, namely difficulties when making molds which include cowl molds, seat molds, AC cover molds and other parts. In addition, making miniature manually has disadvantages such as not being precise in shape and size with the original object and if there is a small change in a particular part, then it must be made from scratch again. Based on these constraints the team provided a solution by making a 3D printer machine that could be used to support bus replica production. Making a 3D printer machine with dimensions of 48 x 46 x 44 cm got a positive response.  In addition, the conducted training were enthusistically participated by the members. Utilization of 3D printer machines greatly helps the production process and increases the efficiency of time by 76% at the stage of making master prints.

Abstract

The Creative Women Group namely KWK Seroja, which consists of housewives, has great potential to increase product marketing networks, because the business it has been in has been in business for almost 10 years with a relatively productive age. Until now KWK Seroja members have businesses in the fields of convection, food, rental and souvenirs, but still use traditional marketing models such as opening a business at home or marketing it door-to-door. The rapid use of social media such as Facebook can help marketing more efficiently and effectively, due to the extensive network. KWK Seroja needs to be helped through information about the importance of marketing transformation from traditional to social media bases, namely optimized Facebook fans page. KWK Seroja also needs assistance to participate in the UMKM exhibition to strengthen its position in the eyes of the community. The results obtained were good enthusiasm from the members who were able to create a fan page in accordance with their respective products and a willingness to follow the UMKM exhibition once a year.

Abstract

Online Attendance list connected to whatsapp and SMS gateway will make teachers and parents to be easier in controlling student attendance quickly and accurately. This kind of attendance list is applied at SMK Negeri 2 Soe. This system aims to provide information related to the students attendance of SMK Negeri 2 Soe every day until the recap every month. The method used is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a software development method with an object-oriented approach to system development. There are 3 stages in this community partnership program, namely the planning stage for the data retrieval related to the development of the system, the stage of system design including fingerprint recording and online attendance list program trials as well as the implementation stage where students use this fingerprint press on a shift according to before and after school hour.. The results obtained shows that students, teachers and parents can easily and quickly increase the students’attendance of SMK Negeri 2 Soe. The process of controlling student attendance is easier and it has an impact on the discipline of SMK Negeri 2 students which is increasing.

Abstract

The lifestyle of the people of NTT which is increasingly modern creates opportunities for furniture business such as UD furniture. Gusti Karya is more and more open. Due to the increasingly modern lifestyle of society, the lifestyle will be more consumptive, luxurious, individualistic, and instantaneous. UD. Gusti Karya is a partner of the PPPUD program located on Jalan Bajawa, Kupang City. This business has been started since 1997. However, the increasing number of days, the resulting turnover has decreased. This is due to the limited equipment they have, so the number of products they produce is very limited. This program aims to provide solutions to problems currently being faced by partners related to the problem of increasing their production. The solution offered is to implement a multi-functional wood production machine. Because according to the partner, since the business began, the partner has never renovated any equipment, let alone used a wood production machine with more modern technology. This problem then causes the production process to be very slow, causing productivity to decrease. The results of the activity evaluation show that, by implementing a multi-functional wood production machine in this PPPUD program, the partner's production process has increased according to the objectives of this program.

Abstract

Central Java is one of the tourism destinations in Indonesia that offers a variety of amazing tourist attractions. However, the current tourism attraction business managers are still facing problems including: the problem of structuring, managing, and developing tourist attraction that is still not in accordance with established standards. Therefore, in the dedication of  the Community Activities, the executor of dedication implementer conducts socialization and coaching to increase understanding and ability in managing tourist attraction businesses, to comply with specified standards, as well as understanding procedures to obtain tourism business certification. The activities include: 1) Presentation of material about Tourism Business, 2) Presentation of material about Standards for Management of Tourism Attractions and how to obtain certification, 3) Discussion.

Abstract

Tangerang Regency has the largest cattle farm in Banten Province. Animal husbandry business activities can have a positive impact, namely increasing community economic activities, as well as negative environmental impacts, namely livestock waste both solid and liquid waste. Partners in this activity are the Arafah Agro livestock business group and Barokah UMKM located in Pakulonan Barat Village, Kelapa Dua District, Tangerang Regency. So far, livestock waste management is only limited to being collected and then used for plant fertilizer. The technology to be implemented is a biogas reactor with a capacity of 12 m3, a chopper, a feed mixer, a solar powered water pump and a 500 liter water reservoir, and a PLTS with a capacity of 300 WP. The stages of its activities start from identifying the real conditions of partners related to the application of technology, designing and making technology systems, testing the technology systems that have been made, and conducting training and mentoring to partners in operating and utilizing technology that has been disseminated. The output of this activity is the use of cow biogascoture for cooking and lighting for cages, the installation of a solar powered water pump to suck water from the well into the reservoir, which can later be used for drinking and bathing cows and other stable operations, grass chopper and feed mixer. help provide high quality cow feed, thereby increasing cow productivity by up to 50%.

Abstract

One of the important roles in using shipping safety equipment is an effort to prevent or minimize accidents for fishermen. The low awareness and the price of safety equipment that is considered quite expensive make fishermen in Musi Banyuasin regency less caring about the importance of shipping safety equipment. The program was carried out to share knowledge about safety voyage for fisherman Musi Banyuasin regency. It was held to improve skill, attitude, and awareness of fisherman in Musi Banyuasin regency regarding to the importance of safety, life saving technique in accident case. This program was conducted by lectures and discussion method between speaker and participants focusing in safety voyage. The results showed that the participant’s awareness of safety voyage importance and understanding of life saving technique have increased. The lifejackets were given to help participants to comply the life saving requirement during fishing.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to make Karangtaruna "Taruna Bakti" Trayeman Pleret Bantul know about AutoCAD software, make product designs using AutoCAD software. The method used in training is through presentations, questions and answers, discussion and practice. The target audience in this community service activity are 15 members of Karangtaruna "Taruna Bakti" Trayeman, Pleret, Bantul. Based on the activities that have been carried out, the results obtained by Karangtaruna "Taruna Bakti" members can recognize and understand the use of AutoCAD software, through the practice activities of Karangtaruna "Taruna Bakti" members who can design aluminum-based products using AutoCAD software. It is hoped that after being able to use the AutoCad software they can design the product and make the product and then sell it, so they will be able to earn income and increase their economic reseliance. To analyze the condition of community service partners, the SWOT Analysis method uses strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. With this SWOT analysis we can know internal-external factors and opportunities that can be optimized. One of the potential optimizations can be done by training human resources.
