Abstract

Abstract: The objective of research was to describe difficulty, cause, and solution to the difficulties the 11th MIA 1 Grades of SMA Negeri I Soe faced in using their metacognitive of ability to solve mathematics problem in probability material using melancholic, sanguinic, phlegmatic and choleric personality types. This study was an exploratory qualitative research. The procedure used of selecting subject is snowball sampling, so that 12 subjects were obtained whose data could be analyzed. The data collection was conducted using think aloud method. The data validation was carried out using time triangulation. Techniques of analyzing data used were: (1) classifying data into 4 categories: (a) understanding problem, (b) thinking about plan, (c) implementing the plan, (d) rechecking the answer, (2) presenting the data in narrative text and (3) drawing a conclusion about difficulty, cause, and solution to metacognitive difficulty in each category. The results of research showed that the metacognitive difficulties in solving problem of probability material for melancholic and choleric students were as follows. (a) The students difficulty realized strategic deliberation and the advantage of strategy used, (b) Students experience metacognitive difficulty in realizing the strategic change when they were wrong, (c) Difficulty in realizing the evaluation on confusion, (d) Difficulty in realizing when a strategy is used, (e) Difficulty in realizing the different strategies, (f) Difficulty of other strategy in problem solving, (g) Difficulty in realizing their work product evaluation, and (h) Difficulty in realizing the consideration of all options in solving problem. The difficulty of sanguinic and phlegmatic students were as follows. (a)  Difficultly realized strategic deliberation and the advantage of strategy used, (b) Difficulty in realizing the advantage of strategy used (c) Difficulty realizing when a strategy was used (d) Difficulty in realizing when a strategy was used (d) Difficulty in realizing the reason of using different strategies in  various situation (e) Difficulty in realizing other strategy in solving problem and (f) Difficulty in realizing the deliberation of all options in solving problem.Keywords: Metacognitive Difficulty, Problem Solving, Hippocrates-Galenus Personality Type.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu Memberikan sosialisasi nilai – nilai karakter dan implementasi bagi anak – anak LPKA Kota Kupang dan memberikan motivasi kepada anak–anak di LPKA Kelas I Kupang untuk terus mengimplementasikan nilai – nilai karakter dalam rangka penguatan karakter dalam diri mereka. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara daring pada dua tempat yaitu kampus B PGSD Universitas Nusa Cendana dan LPKA Kelas I Kota Kupang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyampaian materi nilai – nilai karakter dan implementasinya yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan bermain peran. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dimana pada hari pertama dan kedua, peserta diberikan materi mengenai nilai – nilai karakter dan implementasinya sedangkan pada hari ketiga peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk mengaplikasikan materi yang didapatkan pada hari pertama dan kedua dengan cara bermain peran. Berdasarkan penilaian pada hari pertama sampai dengan hari ketiga didaptkan hasil bahwa anak – anak binaan LPKA Kota Kupang mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai nilai karakter dan implementasinya dalam kehidupan sehari – hari.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the effectiveness of the application of guided inquiry learning models to student learning outcomes. The research method used quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design type. The population covered 34 students with saturated sampling technique with a sample of 34 students. The research instrument used test questions and documentation studies as well as data analysis techniques using the independent t-test and effect size test. The results of the study showed that the application of guided inquiry-based learning models with scientific-based worksheets on the learning outcomes of Class VI natural science at SDI Bakunase Kupang was effective, in which the average test score of the control class was smaller than the experimental class at 68.24 <79.41 and based on the value of sig. (2-tailed)> α that is 0.001 <0.05, then there was a significant difference in the average value between the control class and the experimental class and the effect size test results was 0.85. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the guided inquiry learning model based on LKS based Scientific is effective towards the learning outcomes of Class VI Natural Sciences at SDI Bakunase Kupang.

Abstract

This research aimed to describe the implementation of character education in schools, in terms of planning, implementation and evaluation of the character education. This research method used survey, it was conducted in Elementary Schools of Kupang City. Samples were selected using random sampling cluster area technique so that from a population of 134 schools selected 21 schools representing 6 existing sub-districts. The instruments used are questionnaire and interview guidelines. This research uses qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. This study resulted in; (1) The planning aspect of character education began in 2011/2012 academic year. The initiator was the education office of Kupang City in collaboration with schools’ internal parties. The reason of implementing this character education were to change students’ behaviours into noble people in balance with graduates expected competencies, to help students make wise decisions, and be able to distinguish between good and bad, and to cultivate leadership and responsible characters either in family, school or society. (2) Implementation aspect involved actors of implementation and target of character education including principal, teachers, officers and students. The integration of character education in schools was done through subjects’ learning, habituation and extracurricular activities. (3) The evaluation phase covered impact of implementation, barriers to implementation and solutions to overcome those obstacles.

Abstract

Online Attendance list connected to whatsapp and SMS gateway will make teachers and parents to be easier in controlling student attendance quickly and accurately. This kind of attendance list is applied at SMK Negeri 2 Soe. This system aims to provide information related to the students attendance of SMK Negeri 2 Soe every day until the recap every month. The method used is the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. Rapid Application Development (RAD) is a software development method with an object-oriented approach to system development. There are 3 stages in this community partnership program, namely the planning stage for the data retrieval related to the development of the system, the stage of system design including fingerprint recording and online attendance list program trials as well as the implementation stage where students use this fingerprint press on a shift according to before and after school hour.. The results obtained shows that students, teachers and parents can easily and quickly increase the students’attendance of SMK Negeri 2 Soe. The process of controlling student attendance is easier and it has an impact on the discipline of SMK Negeri 2 students which is increasing.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran dalam jaringan, pendidik perlu mengembangkan inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran daring agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar baik aspek pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap. Salah satunya adalah model pembelajaran RQA.  Adapun tujuan peneliti ini yaitu pengaruh pembelajaran daring dengan model RQA terhadap hasil belajar PKN materi nasionalisme mahasiswa semester II, PGSD Universitas Nusa Cendana, Kupang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimental. Lokasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Universitas Nusa Cendana Kupang. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah Semester II Kelas A dan B yang berada di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Universitas Nusa Cendana. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 54 mahasiswa kelas II A sebanyak 28 mahasiswa dan II B sebanyak 26 mahasiswa. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. , Selanjutnya, teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t. hasil perhitungan uji – t diperoleh nilai signifikansi yaitu 0.000 < 0.05. Hal ini berarti H0 ditolak sehingga kesimpulan yang dapat diberikan yaitu terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran daring dengan model RQA terhadap hasil belajar PPKN materi nasionalisme, mahasiswa semester II, Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitaian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis web untuk siswa agar mudah memahami pelajaran matematika khususnya tentang bilangan pangkat dan bilangan akar. Pengembangan Game Edukasi bilangan pangkat dan akar, didasari oleh kurangnya upaya guru dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) Game ini dikembangan menggunakan perangkat lunak Genially berbasis website dengan pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis game menggunakan model GDLC (Game Development Life Cycle) yaitu: Initiation, preproduction, production, Testing (Alpha testing, Beta testing), dan realease. Melalui pendekatan GDLC, validator ahli memberikan respon penilaian sangat baik melalui Black Box Testing dimana game ini berjalan sesuai fungsinya dan layak untuk dimainkan oleh para siswa dan juga pengguna umum lainnya.

Abstract

Masa pandemi sekarang telah banyak mengubah pilihan media pembelajaran di dunia pendidikan. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik minat banyak orang adalah game. Game adalah sebuah permainan dengan tujuan bersenang-senang dan mengisi waktu luang. Salah satu permainan klasik yang hingga saat ini masih sangat digemari adalah labirin yang dimana memerlukan AI (Artificial Intelligence). AI yang digunakan dalam pembangunan game petualangan labirin ini adalah algoritma A* (A Star). Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara menyebar angket maka ditemukan bahwa sebesar 73,4 % adanya minat dan ketertarikan siswa pada game labirin. Siswa lebih antusias dalam belajar sambil bermain sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran lebih mudah tercapai dari pada pembelajaran secara konvesional.

Abstract

Salah satu komponen pembelajaran yang penting untuk di kembangkan dan dimaksimalkan yaitu bahan/materi ajar sebab bahan ajar yang baik dapat meningkatkan efektivitas dalam pembelajaran bagi guru dan meningkatkan pemahaman materi bagi siswa. Masalah yang ditemukan di lapangan yaitu penggunaan bahan ajar yang belum kontekstual sehingga sulit bagi siswa untuk memahami materi yang disajikan. Oleh sebab itu, salah satu cara untuk mengatasi hal tersebut yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal Timor Tengah Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis quasi eksperiment design. sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SD Inpres Lakat kelas A dan Kelas B berjumlah 40 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji analisis parsyarat yang terdiri dari uji normalitas, uji homogenitas varians dan uji matriks varians – kovarians. Selanjutnya, menggunakan uji N- Gain dan uji efektivitas untuk melihat ada tidaknya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika materi geometri kelas V, SD Inpres Lakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis budaya lokal Timor Tengah Selatan efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Inpres Lakat, Timor Tengah Selatan. Terlihat bahwa nilai N-Gain hasil belajar siswa kelas ekperimen sebesar 0,60 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,39. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar berbasis kebudayaan lokal Timor Tengah Selatan cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Selain itu, dapat dilihat hasil uji effect size yaitu 1,50 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.
