Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using a website on biodiversity material based on research results on students' conservation literacy skills. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. Students' conservation literacy skills were measured through three indicators: cognitive (using pretest and posttest questions), affective (using an attitude questionnaire), and psychomotor (assessed through a poster assignment). In this study, the experimental class used the EDUKASI website, while the control class used PowerPoint. The results showed that the use of the website had an effect on students' conservation literacy skills. This was evidenced by the hypothesis testing using a t-test at a significance level of 0.05 for each indicator: cognitive (Sig. 0.001), affective (Sig. 0.000), and psychomotor (Sig. 0.000). Thus, H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected, indicating that the use of a research-based website influences the conservation literacy skills of seventh-grade junior high school students. Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of an Electronic Student Worksheet (E-LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the topic of classification of living organisms, to enhance students’ Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and Science Process Skills (SPS). The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Effectiveness testing was conducted through a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group. Data were analyzed using independent sample t-test and N-Gain analysis. The validation results indicated that the E-LKPD was in the “highly feasible” category. The t-test results for the pretest showed no significant difference between the experimental and control groups (t = 0.031; p = 0.975), while the posttest results revealed a significant difference (t = 7.403; p = 0.000). The N-Gain scores for HOTS and SPS were 0.61 and 0.68, respectively, both categorized as moderate and effective. It is concluded that the PBL-based E-LKPD integrated with AI is feasible and effective for improving students’ HOTS and SPS in biology learning. Abstract

This study aims to compare the effectiveness of two reperfusion strategies in patients with ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI), namely primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI) and the pharmaco-invasive strategy. The method used is a qualitative meta-synthesis with thematic analysis of clinical studies obtained from various scientific databases. The results show that primary reperfusion is superior in reducing mortality and complications when performed within the optimal timeframe (<120 minutes). However, the pharmaco-invasive strategy serves as an effective alternative in areas with limited PCI access, showing comparable clinical outcomes when applied according to time protocols. In conclusion, reperfusion strategy selection must align with the availability of resources and healthcare infrastructure.   Keywords: Effectiveness, Meta-Synthesis, Pharmaco-Invasive, Primary Reperfusion, STEMI

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of auxin (IBA) and cytokinin (BAP) application on avocado (Persea americana) in improving grafting success. The method used was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) of 3×3 with three replications. The observed parameters included the percentage of graft survival, time to bud emergence, number of buds, bud length, and number of leaves. The results showed that the application of IBA and BAP significantly affected the time to bud emergence and bud length, but had no significant effect on the percentage of graft survival, number of buds, and number of leaves. In conclusion, growth hormones can accelerate the initial physiological response in grafting, although they do not always impact overall vegetative growth.  Keywords: Avocado, BAP, Grafting, IBA, Persea americana
