Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation dan konvensional terhadap: Keterampilan Proses Sains Mahasiswa USI Pematangsiantar. Sampel diambil secara total sampling,yaitu seluruh mahasiswa semester VIsebanyak 60 orang yang dikelompokkan ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation, kelompok eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran Group Investigation, dan kelompok kontrol dengan model pembelajaran konvensional.Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kuasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji F-ANAKOVA dan ANOVA pada taraf signifikan α = 5% dengan bantuan program SPSS 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Tes keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation 87,60 ± 4,28 secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Group Investigation 81,50 ± 5,77 dan pembelajaran konvensional 70,40 ± 4,01 dengan (Fhitung=63,092; P=0,000). Selanjutnya observasi keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation 92,85 ± 4,61 secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Group Investigation 77,80 ± 7,27 dan pembelajaran konvensional 57,25 ± 8,69 dengan (Fhitung=127,856; P=0,000). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dalam tatanan Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa USI Pematangsiantar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk media linier plus video pembelajaran pada perkuliahan mikrobiologi terapan. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model4D melalui 4 tahapan yaitu: (1) Melakukan analisis kebutuhan dan karakteristik mahasiswa dan tujuan pembelajaran mikrobiologi terapan, (2) Merancang media pembelajaran mikrobiologi terapan, (3) Melakukan  validasi instrumen oleh 2 ahli materi dan 2 ahli media, dan uji coba produk yaitu uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji lapangan terbatas; dan (4) Melakukan revisi produk hingga menghasilkan produkmedia linier plus video pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket dan wawancara.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Dari hasil penilaian terhadap media linierplus video pembelajaran pada perkuliahan mikrobiologi terapan yang telah dikembangkan dinilai baik dan layak digunakan dengan rata – rata persentase kelayakan 83,83% oleh ahli materi, dan 88,4% oleh ahli media, hasil tanggapan mahasiswa melalui uji coba perorangan dengan rata – rata persentase kelayakan 87,44%, uji coba kelompok kecil dengan persentase kelayakan 89,42%, dan uji coba lapangan terbatas dengan persentase kelayakan 87,6%. Produk media linier plus video dikategorikan “baik” dan layak digunakan pada perkuliahan Mikrobiologi Terapan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning media animation, torso, and the image and initial knowledge of students on student learning outcomes on the material digestion system of human food class XI in Private High School Hang Tuah Belawan. The type of research used is quasi experiment with research pretest-postest control group design. Samples were selected using cluster sampling techniques and divided into experimental and conventional classes. In class XI IPA1 applied animation media, class XI IPA2was applied torso media, and class XI IPA3 applied conventional media. Multiple-choice questions are used to measure learning outcomes, while critical thinking skills are essay-based. Data analysis technique using Covarian Analysis (Anacova) at significant level α= 0,05 and continued with Tukey test with SPSS 21.0 software. The results showed that: (1) There is influence of animation media to student learning outcomes (F= 4,266; P= 0.017). Students who were taught by animation media were significantly different from the students who were taught by the image media, but not significantly different from those taught by torso media; and (2) There is influence of students early knowledge to result of student learning (F= 3,662; P= 0,011). Students with high initial ability who were taught by animation media, torso and gambart did not differ significantly with students who had low initial ability that was taught by torso animation media and images. Students who have high initial ability that dibelajarkan with media animation, torso and images significantly higher than students who have low initial ability that dibelajarkan with animation media, torso and gambar.Hasil research shows that learning using animation media and early knowledge is better in giving influence to learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran animasi, torso, dan gambar dan pengetahuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan makanan manusia kelas XI di SMA Swasta Hang Tuah Belawan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan penelitian pretest-postest control group design. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster sampling dan dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen dan konvensional. Pada kelas XI IPA1 diterapkan media animasi, kelas XI IPA2 diterapkan media torso, dan kelas XI IPA3 diterapkan media konvensional. Soal kemampuan berpikir kritis berbentuk soal essay. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Analisis Covarian (Anacova) pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Tukey dengan bantuan software SPSS 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (2) Terdapat pengaruh media animasi terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis  siswa (F= 16,26; P= 0,00). Siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media animasi secara signifikan berbeda dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan media gambar tetapi  tetapi tidak berbeda signifikan yang dibelajarkan dengan media torso; dan (2) Terdapat pengaruh  pengetahuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa (F = 24,686; P = 0,000). Siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi yang dibelajarkan dengan media animasi, torso dan gambar secara signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang memiliki kamampuan awal rendah yang dibelajarkan dengan media animasi, torso dan gambar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang menggunakan media animasi dan pengetahuan awal lebih baik dalam memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berupa buku ajarbiologi SMA berbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk kelas XI semester II.Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D. Prosedurpengembangan terdiri dari beberapa tahap; (1) Analisis Masalah; (2)Perancangan buku ajar; dan (3) Uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan persentase skor rata-rata penilaian buku ajar biologi SMAberbasis pendekatan saintifik untuk kelas XI semester II oleh validator ahlimateri dari aspek kelayakan isi adalah 81,4% (baik) dan dari aspekkelayakan penyajian 90,6% (sangat baik). Sedangkan hasil persentase skorrata-rata penilaian buku ajar biologi SMA berbasis pendekatan saintifikuntuk kelas XI semester II oleh validator ahli media dari aspek kelayakanpenyajian adalah 98,9% (sangat baik). Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bukuajar biologi SMA berbasis pendidikan saintifik untuk kelas XI yang layakdigunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X SMA Budisatrya yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengaruh model (Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation, dan Konvensional) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap keanekaragaman hayati (flora) kelas X SMA Budisatrya Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 kelas, dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga kelas, kelas model X2 berfungsi sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajar oleh Problem Based Learning, kelas X3 digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan oleh Model Group Investigation, dan Kelas X1 yang digunakan sebagai kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model konvensional. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan: menguji kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam bentuk pilihan ganda adalah 25 pertanyaan. Metode penelitian ini quasi eksperimen dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan Anacova dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05 dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Scheff dengan SPSS 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: ada pengaruh model pembelajaran (Problem Based Learning, Group Investigation and Conventional) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang belajar dengan model Problem Based Learning 81,60 ± 7,72 lebih tinggi dan berbeda secara signifikan dari model Investigasi Kelompok 74,56 ± 8,92 dan Konvensional 61,47 ± 11,26.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of learning model on: science process skills in SMA Negeri 1 Langsa. The research applied experimental queasy method research with 3 classes which were using by cluster randome technique. Class A learnt with problem based learning model, class B with  guided discovery lerning model, while class C (control) learnt with conventional lerning model. the data analysis technique used Covariat Analysis (ANACOVA) at the level of significance α = 0,05 by using SPSS 21.0. The result showed: there was significant effect of learning models on student’s science process skill (F = 50.953; P = 0.00). student’s science process skill learnt by problem based learning (84.5 ± 5.3) significantly higher than guided discovery (75.30 ± 7.7), and conventional learning models (65.90 ± 8.1).

Abstract

The research aims to: (1) Develop a textbook of microbiological food at based problem; (2) determine the response of microbiology lecturer and students to textbooks developed. The textbook was developed to be used as a guide students in conducting lectures learning in the classroom. Data on the quality of development product were collected by questionnaire/questionnaire. Textbook was developed by using a development model Thiagarajan (4-D) that has been modified into a 3-D. The results showed: (1) Validation team of material experts showed an average of 88% (the excellent category); (2) Validation of the expert team of instructional design showed an average 95% (excellent category); (3) Ratings lecturer of microbiology showed an average of  92% (a very interesting category); (4) Trial individuals showed an average 89% (a very interesting category); (5) Trial small group showed an average of 84% (a very interesting category); (6) a finite field trial group showed an average of 87% (a very interesting category).So it can be concluded that product development research microbiology textbooks of based prombles that development is feasible to be used as a textbook students at third semester of Biology Education PPs of Unimed or as supporting lecture material on the material Applied Microbiology in Food Microbiology at Unimed.

Abstract

This study was aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning and group investigation on: (1) learning outcomes; and (2) creative thinking ability of student in class XI of SMAN 1 Muara Batu. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were selected using random cluster sampling technique and divided into experimental and control classes. Class XI IPA3 was applied problem-based learning model,  class XI IPA1 was applied to the model group investigation, and class XI IPA2 was applied in the conventional learning (control). Multiple choices were used to measure learning outcomes, while tests of creative thinking skills in the form of essay questions. Data were analyzed using Analysis Covarian (Anacova) at significance level α = 0.05 and followed by Tukeys test with SPSS 21.0. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of learning model to the learning outcomes of students (F = 14.183, P = 0.000). Students who were taught by problem-based learning model was significantly different from those of group investigation and conventional learning model; and (2) There was an effect of learning model to students creative thinking abilities (F = 12.030, P = 0.000). Students who were taught by problem-based learning model was not significantly different from the group investigation model but differed significantly with students who were taught by conventional learning model.
