Abstract

The purpose of this study is to contribute to the ability to read Al-Qur'an for MI children on the subject of the Al-Qur'an Hadith because reading the Al-Qur'an becomes the flagship program at MI Muhammadiyah Ketapang. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research on classroom action research (CAR). The results of this study are the Scramble Learning model in the Al-Qur'an-Hadith which has an influence in improving the competence in reading short surah choices after applying the Scramble model proven research results show that the level of competence in reciting and reading Al-Quran verses in subjects Al-Qur'an Hadith cycle I reached 91.3% enough category and cycle II there was an increase in achieving Al-Quran reading with Al-Qur'an Hadith students obtained 91.5% very good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is identifying the problematics the implementation of the Reading Literacy Movement in Primary Schools. The approach in this research is qualitative with descriptive type. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. This research was conducted at SDN X in Malang City. The results showed that the problem of the Reading Literacy Movement at SDN X in Malang was divided into 3 categories, namely the 15 minute reading habit, with the problem of reading and writing skills and the ability to understand student reading, limited reading time, low motivation and interest in reading. At the facility and facility enrichment stage category, with the problem of the availability various books in the library, limited reading areas, reading angles, and literacy posters. The category of supporting resources, with the problem of reading literacy climate, teachers and literacy reading teams, parental and community support.

Abstract

The convesional model that was previously applied in class V MIN 33 Aceh Besar so that it makes students less active in participating in social studies learning schingga change the pattern by applying the Index Crad Macth learning model. This study aims to explain the effect of the application of the Index Card Match learning model on student motivation and learning outcomes in the social studies subject for class class V MIN 33 Aceh Besar. The type of this research is qualitative based on facts or events systematically and accurately. The data collection technique was carried out by interviewing respondents namely 2 (two) Social Studies teachers in Class V and 1 (one) informant, namely the Principal at MIN 33 Aceh Besar. The results showed that the application of learning methods with the Index Card Match system could increase student motivation in social studies subjects in class V MIN 33 Aceh Besar, this can be seen from the higher level of student activity. The final score show that the learning outcomes of students also increase, this is can be seen from the point of value, creativity, cognitive, affective and psyhological abilities that achieve KKM completeness with a mean value of this study is that the Index Card Match learning model has an effect on the motivation and learning outcomes of students in sosial studies.

Abstract

The interaction between the teachers and the students determines the success of the teaching learning process. Teaching dose not only involve the transmission or reception of information as well as it is a chance for conversation and discussion. The aim of this study is that to analyze how teacher-student interaction is expressed conversationally, i.e., how it is started and closed. It is also intended to describe the discoursal structure of verbal interaction as reflected in the classroom. The study hypothesises that  the teacher- student discourse structure is complex, and the main speaker is the teacher. As well as the students are not passive listeners. Finally , the study has come up with that the teacher and the student have an effective role in the classroom.

Abstract

This article aims to describe students' perceptions of online learning on social interaction. The method used is descriptive qualitative with observation instruments, online surveys, group discussion forums with the research subjects of the 2018 class of PGMI students STAI Ma'had Aly Al-Hikam Malang, Indonesia. The results of the study show that online learning on campus online learning is integrated with SIAKAD and other applications such as google classroom, WhatsApp, Zoom, Jitsi, google meet, etc. for teleconferencing during student presentations and discussions. Students are able to take online lectures well. The student's perspective on online lectures runs quite well despite some obstacles including internet connection, some materials are difficult to understand because they are only given assignments and discussions are carried out through siakad. The impact of online learning on social interactions, among others, is that communication and learning can run well and be flexible, there is miscommunication, and some have difficulty understanding the material.

Abstract

This development research aims to: (1) Describe the validity of multiple intelligencesbased learning strategy textbook development: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI (2) Describe the practicality of developing multiple intelligences-based learning strategies textbooks: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI , and (3) to describe the effectiveness of the development of multiple intelligences-based learning strategy textbooks: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI. This development research uses the four-D (4-D) models, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate. The data collection method uses a questionnaire (for validation of material experts, media experts, and linguists), tests for the assessment of learning outcomes, and documentation to collect research supporting data. The data analysis technique uses percentage calculations to determine the level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the product being developed. The results of this study include: (1) Development of multiple intelligences-based learning strategy textbooks: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI in valid categories from the aspects of material, media, and language.(2) Development of multiple intelligences-based learning strategy textbooks: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI which are practically applied in learning. (3) Development of multiple intelligences based learning strategy textbooks: theoretical and practical reviews in SD/MI are effective in achieving learning outcomes.

Abstract

The ability to speak in English is very important for students to master the importance of English as an international language. However, the reality in Islamic Elementary School, students are not proficient in Speaking English. One of the factors is the method used does not encourage speaking skills, therefore, it is necessary to develop an English method to improve the speaking ability in Islamic Elementary  School students. This study aims to produce a role-playing method design to improve speaking skills, to describe the implementation of English methods that have been developed to improve speaking skills, to describe the effectiveness of developing English methods to improve speaking skills. This type of research is a development research with reference to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, including the analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate stages. The results showed that the development design of the role play method refers to the ADDIE development model, and is based on the principles of learnin device plans development including the accuracy of coverage and accuracy of content, completeness of components, presentation of language and appropriate illustrations. The implementation of the role play method was carried out 4 times in limited trials, and 6 meetings in broad trials. The development of the role play method was declared effective by the improvement of the students' speaking skills in the psychomotor aspect with a mean pretest score of 73, and post-test 91, with an increase in N-Gain of 0.66 in the moderate category. From the cognitive aspect, the pretest results showed a mean score of 68.5, the mean post-test score was 85.75 with an increase in N-Gain 0.54 in the moderate category.

Abstract

To support children in understanding and having social caring attitudes, the character should be imparted earlier. Children were required to be trained and familiarized by regularly being exposed with real situations and conditions. Therefore, an approach combining the learning process with community service activities as an effort to shape the students’ social caring personality was needed; one of them was through service-learning programs. This study was aimed to describe the process of building the students’ social caring principles through implementing service-learning programs in Al Urwatul Wutsqo Jombang and Darussalam Kediri Islamic boarding schools. This research was a qualitative study with a multisite study design. The data was collected using in-depth interview techniques, participatory observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the data was analyzed through some stages, covering data collection, condensation, and presentation, drawing a conclusion, and validating the findings by extending participation, using triangulation techniques of sources, theories, and methods as well as conducting persistent observations. The research informants were pesantren caretakers, teachers, students, and society. The result showed that the implementation of building students’ social caring character through service learning model was carried out in three stages, namely habituation, evaluation (muhasabah), and modeling.

Abstract

Speaking skills are the ability of someone to say articulation sounds or words that have meaning to convey ideas, thoughts and ideas. The research objectives are (1) knowing student responses to Scrapbook media in thematic learning; (2) find the effect of Scrapbook media on student speaking skills. The research approach is quantitative with experimental type. The design of this study is non-equivalent control group design with population of all students grade V MI Nasyrul Ulum Bocek Malang and the number of students in the sample of each class (control and experiment class) is 30. The research instrument used questionnaire and observation sheet. The data obtained were analyzed by Independent Sample t-test. From the results responses showed there were 76% good and correct speaking skills. From the t-test results of speaking skills with the Equeval variance not assumed is 3.980 with a probability of 0.00 and the probability value 0.00 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the calculation, there is a significant increase in the experimental class from pre-test value 26.66% increased to 76.66% in the post-test value. For the control class, pre-test value 20% becomes 30% in the post-test value. In conclusion, Scrapbook media has a significant effect on student speaking skills.

Abstract

Dalam nash Al-Qur`an dan Hadis secara eksplisit dijelaskan tentang kewajiban  kedua orang tua untuk mendidik anaknya dengan penuh kasih sayang. Namun, beberapa hadis Nabi secara literal justeru menjelaskan hal yang kontradiktif, yakni “hanya ibu” yang bertanggungjawab pada pendidikan anaknya  dan adanya “legitimasi kekerasan” terhadap anak atas nama pendidikan agama. Artikel ini akan membahas, bagaimana sebenarnya Konsep Islam  (Al-Qur`an dan Hadis) tentang peran orang tua dalam membentuk karakter anak. Dengan Intertekstualitas teks al-Qur`an dan Hadis Nabi secara integral serta membaca nash-nash tersebut sesuai  konteks historisnya, dapat dipahami bahwa kewajiban mendidik anak ada pada kedua orang tua, bukan hanya ibunya. Untuk mendidik anak ber-akhlaq al-karimah, dua modal utama orang tua adalah: Pertama,  Kesediaan dan kesiapan menerima kehadiran anak dengan lapang dada sebagai amanah, bagaimanapun bentuk fisik dan kondisi anak ( dengan bersyukur, menjaga serta mengasuhnya hingga dewasa). Kedua, Kesediaan  orang tua bersinergi (antara ayah dan ibu) dalam membentuk karakter anak dalam memberi nasehat, konsisten memberi teladan, mengawal pembiasaan, memberi reward/pujian dan punishment/hukuman sebagai motivasi terhadap anak agar tetap memiliki kepribadian yang baik baik secara konsisten.
