Fesyen Perspektif
esyen Perspektif merupakan Jurnal yang dikelola oleh program studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, sebagai tempat yang mewadahi berbagai hasil karya ilmiah mahasiswa dan pengajar di lingkungan Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana Departemen PKK FPTK UPI. Terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan April dan Oktober, berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, aplikasi teori dan kajian analitis kritis di bidang fesyen (mode busana, pembuatan busana, desain busana, tekstil, kriya tekstil, dan tata rias). Fesyen Persfektif menampilkan hasil kajian yang membuktikan bahwa fashion sebagai kebutuhan utama manusia mengalami perkembangan dan perubahan. Kecenderungan perubahannya meliputi berbagai aspek yang melingkupi kehidupan manusia. Pelaku fashion khususnya para akademisi bidang fashion memberikan perhatianya dengan mengkaji kreatifitas, aspek fungsional dan aspek estetik dari fashion.

<![CDATA[The progress of time resulted that an industrial players of fashion business is increasing, fashion buyer became one of the professions that take an important role in the field of fashion business. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the advantages of fashion business management learning outcomes as a readiness to become a fashion buyer in chain stores, in terms of competence business management concept, fashion business opportunities, fashion business production management, marketing management and human resource management. The used research method is descriptive method. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The population in this study which are students of Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana class of 2009 which is numbered 48 people. The research sample using random sampling by means of raffle population in determining that sample, so that the total sample was 30 people. The results showed most of students feel the benefits of learning outcomes in the fashion business management into a fashion buyer readiness in chain stores in terms of fashion business opportunities, fashion business production management, marketing management and human resource management. The results of this study can be used as information to develop and improve insight into the fashion business management so that students are motivated and ready to enter the workforce in particular became a fashion buyer who works in chain stores.]]>

<![CDATA[The This research is about the benefit of studying results management of the business boutique fashion as pioneering readiness of the business muslim women distro. The aim of this research of being to receive the data about the benefit of studying results management of the business boutique fashion was considered from competence and the aim of the business boutique fashion of the concept command, the etiquette of business fashion, the strategy of business boutique fashion, the management of human resources of business fashion, and the management production and marketing of the business boutique fashion. The method that was used in this research that is the descriptive method with the collector's implement of the data took the form of the poll. The sample of research used the purposive sample, that is the student of boutique concentration in Studi Program of fashion design Education Faculty of the Technology and Vocational Education, the generation of 2011 and 2011 that was total 34 people. Results of this research showed that more than half of students stated results of studying the management business of boutique fashion as being inspected from business boutique fashion of the concept command, the etiquette of business fashion, the strategy of business boutique fashion, the management of human resources of business fashion, and the management production and marketing of the business boutique fashion. <![CDATA[Fashion illustration was needed in the presentation of fashion trends not only as aesthetic considerations but also to showcase fashion designs based on the principles of fashion design appropriately. Professional fashion illustrator was introduced to the college to give the students an overview of the roles and competencies required of the demands of the profession in the fashion world. This study discusses the analysis of the quality of Fashion Illustration For Casual Menswear by students of D3 SRD (Art and Design) class of 2010. The methods used are descriptive methods and techniques of data collections, using the documentation tasks of Fashion Illustration For Casual Menswear, with a sample as many as 26 documentations of Fashion Illustration For Casual Menswear by students of D3 SRD (Art and Design) class of 2010. Based on the results of this study concluded that in terms of the quality concept of casual menswear theme, showed that more than half of the respondents can applied a color display in accordance with the casual menswear theme as well. In terms of display quality on fashion moodboard, showed that more than half of the students can displayed inspiration in the form of images of fashion moodboard. In terms of display quality on design elements of casual menswear, showed that a small proportion of students very well in applied the design elements of color selection with masculine male character. In terms of display quality on design principles casual menswear, showed that more than half of the students can applied the principles of fashion design seen from the balance between the center of attention with a design of casual menswear. In terms of drawing quality on designing of casual menswear, showed that a big proportion of students have the capability to display images of fashion parts.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of information technology and computerization has many impacts in various sectors, one of them is games. It can be used as an alternative of learning medium. Jojo’s Fashion Show: World Tour is is a popular computer game based on the simulation of fashion design. It simulates the process of designing and combining fashion from various countries for fashion shows. This research examines the effectiveness of this game as an alternative medium to learn about fashion. The methods used to analyze the game qualitatively in cognitive domain are the comparison methods between the elements and principles theory of fashion design with the elements and principles of gameplay design in the game. Based on research, the game is quite able to broaden the players’ knowledge both in the vocabulary and types of fashion from various countries. From six elements of fashion theory, the game only introduces and discuses about three elements, which are details, materials and colors. On the other hand, it is still unable to fully apply the theory of the five principles of fashion design. Therefore, Jojo's Fashion Show: World Tour is a computer game that is good enough for introducing fashion in cognitive domain on the level of understanding, but has not reached on the level of application.]]>

<![CDATA[Evaluation is a process which aims at giving consideration to determine the quality of something. Specifically, learning evaluation aims to measure the students’ understanding of the material being taught. The evaluation result cannot be separated from the teacher's ability to plan, implement, manage, and report it in accordance with the correct evaluation procedure and the learning objectives. Therefore, learning evaluation tool for clothing patterns tailoring aims to design, verify, validate, and analyze the results of the evaluation tool for clothing patterns tailoring. The evaluation tool was in the form of a table of assessment rubric with some certain criteria and assessment aspects which are appropriate with the learning objectives of tailoring. Since the evaluation tool focuses on the learning process of making men's suits, the assessment rubric consists of some aspects related to the development of the patterns of men’s suits. The validation which were performed on evaluation and material experts indicate the eligibility of evaluation tool for learning process of making men's suits. The percentage of “proper” category based on the evaluation expert is 90.08%, while the percentage of “proper” category based on the material expert is 97.5%.]]>

<![CDATA[Party costume dress is one type of the party dress which is often used in a party with a certain dress code or costumes. Party costume dresses usually made with full of artistic value obtained from its inspiration and interpreted into a unique form. An inspiration can be obtained from various things, one of them is Phantom Gracious. Phantom Gracious is a concept derived from a hybrid engineering with scientific and other field of technology, produce a mysterious look, unique, somewhat spooky yet beautiful and wonderful look. Phantom Gracious impressions can be expressed in various ways, can be by using some dark colors, some monstrous materials like modular textiles, or can be by using a simple material like sequin as a garniture. The author explores the sequin technique that are placed on different media from previous one, not directly attached to the cloth with the aid of thread, but rather affixed to the wire media. The wire formed in such a way as the twigs and then attached to the dress as a garniture. Using this exploration of sequin technique will add some unique, mysterious, elegant and glamour value, and the expectation of using this exploration is the result of product have an appropriate impression with the concept of Phantom Gracious and can be accepted among the fashion lover and costumes industry.]]>

<![CDATA[Sejak zaman dahulu bulu dan kulit binatang digunakan sebagai bahan utama dalam pembuatan busana, namun seiring dengan kemajuan IPTEK bulu dan kulit binatang kini digunakan sebagai decorative trim. Semakin hari, kebutuhan akan bulu dan kulit binatang semakin bertambah sehingga menimbulkan kepunahan terhadap binatang penghasil bulu dan kulit tersebut, oleh karena itu manusia berupaya melestarikan binatang penghasil bulu dan kulit dengan cara di ternakan dan dibuat imitasinya. Faux berasal dari bahasa Perancis yang artinya “palsu”, sedangkan leather berasal dari bahasa Inggris yang artinya “kulit”, secara bahasa maka faux leather berarti kulit tiruan atau kulit sintetis. Bulu adalah suatu struktur epidermis yang membentuk penutup luar pada burung. Bulu merupakan salah satu ciri utama yang membedakan kelas Aves dari yang lain. Faux leather dan bulu unggas diterapkan pada mermaid dresssehingga menciptakan kesan feminim dan memberikan kesan memanjang pada tubuh.Mermaid dress adalah gaun yang memiliki bentuk seperti duyung, menyempit di bagian pinggang dan pinggul hingga bagian panggul atau lutut. Pada kesempatan Seminar Tata Busana ini penulis akan menggabungkan faux leather dan bulu pada mermaid dress untuk stage costume yang digunakan oleh penyanyi sehingga menghasilkan kombinasi busana yang unik.]]>

<![CDATA[Sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman di era globasisasi ini, seseorang yang ingin tampil serasi dan menarik tetapi memiliki keterbatasan waktu dan pemahaman akan fashion, membuat profesi personal shopper sangat di butuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai manfaat hasil belajar fesyen sebagai kesiapan menjadi personal shopper. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode survey dengan alat pengumpul data berupa angket. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling sebanyak 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada umumnya kurang dari setengah responden mengetahui manfaat hasil belajar Fesyen. Manfaat yang dirasakan responden yaitu dapat memahami acceptance, timeliness dan gaya apa yang sedang popular yang dijadikan sebagai acuan ketika memberi saran, memilihkan dan membelanjakan sebuah produk fashion sesuai kebutuhan, kesempatan, kondisi tubuh dan profesi klien, dapat memahami dan memberi saran style mode yang tepat untuk digunakan oleh klien sesuai dengan gaya hidup, profesi dan kebutuhannya serta dapat memahami bagaimana cara personal shopper memberikan pelayanan mulai dari tahap menganalisa, menyarankan kemudian membelanjakan produk fashion dengan tepat untuk seseorang yang membutuhkan pertolongan dalam berpenampilan agar dapat tampil serasi sesuai kesempatan, kebutuhan dan dapat merepresentasikan cara klien berbusana, menghabiskan uang dan waktunya untuk berbelanja Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa mahasiswa belum maksimal dalam memanfaatkan materi perkuliahan fesyen sebagai kesiapan menjadi Personal Shopper.]]>

<![CDATA[Energy crisis and environmental destruction of human creation, reviving the thinking about the diversity of existing ecosystems in Indonesia. The diversity of ecosystems that can enhance the natural beauty of Indonesia, one of the decomposer organism is Ganoderma Applanatum Mushroom. Ganoderma applanatum in the ecosystem acts as a decomposer or decomposing dead organism that is capable of maintaining an organic nutrient supply which is essential for plant growth. Structurally Ganoderma Applanatum has a very unique form, from here came the thought to make a fashion work by exploring the shapes of ganoderma applanatum in the existing party dress. Visualization of Ganoderma Applanatum is represented of Ruffle that produces the details of the shape of the bend. This impression represents of Ganoderma Applanatum. Ruffle is applied to the evening party dress at the peplum top. The method used is Project Based Learning supported by literature study and documentation. The product results in addition to creating an evening party dress by exploring of Ganoderma Applanatum Mushroom as decorative trim, also expected to bring Indonesian fashion more contemporary.Keywords: ganoderma mushroom, ruffle, evening party dress]]>

<![CDATA[Hanbok is a traditional South Korean dress. Currently, Hanbok is only used on formal and semi-formal occasions such as weddings, festivals, or special Korean celebrations. This Korean Traditional Dress has a unique shape because it is a blend of Chinese and Japanese culture which is the identity of the Korean state. The designers are very creative in the appearance of the handbok in various looks, one of which is art fashion. The purpose of this work is to create an innovation in hanbok as art fashion with an autumn theme. The methods used product adaptation, with steps are creating a concept, mood board, making several alternative designs, and product prototyping. The result of the product in the form of color adaptation and maple leaves that are identical to autumn is applied to the development of hanbok, especially on jeogori. The response from respondents regarding Hanbok in art fashion is that the product has 2 dominant characteristics that are visible, namely 86% attractiveness, and 73% feminine. In addition, as many as 89% of respondents rate this product according to the characteristics of art fashion.]]>
