Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Interval training method and the Reps training method on improving the results of the 50-meter freestyle swimming in the Medan KU I Aquatic Eagle Men's Athletes in 2022. The research method used in this study is the experimental method. The total population used in the inn study was 11 people. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The number of samples used was 8 people. In this sampling, 2 groups were divided into 2 groups by means of matching ordinal pairing subjects. The study was carried out for 6 weeks with a frequency of exercise 3 times each week.       The first hypothesis analysis is that there is a significant influence of the Interval training method on the increase in 50-meter freestyle swimming results in the Medan KU I Aquatic Eagle Athletes in 2022, a t-count of the > t-table (6.54> 3.18), based on hypothesis testing criteria, in this study there is a significant influence of the Interval training method on the results of 50-meter freestyle swimming in the Men's Athletes of the Medan KU I Aquatic Eagles in 2022.The second hypothesis analysis is that there is a significant influence of the Repetition training method on the improvement of 50-meter freestyle swimming results in the Medan KU I Aquatic Eagle Athletes in 2022, obtained t-count> t-table (3.98>3.18), based on hypothesis testing criteria, in this study there is a significant influence of the Interval training method on the results of 50-meter freestyle swimming in the Men's Athletes of the Medan KU I Aquatic Eagles in 2022.The third hypothesis analysis is that the Interval training method has more influence on the increase in the results of 50-meter freestyle swimming in the Medan KU I Aquatic Athletes in 2022, where the results of the comparison of the average results of the increase in post-test data variable X1 > the variable X2 (7.86 > 5.65) then from these results the interval training has more influence on increasing the speed of freestyle swimming 50 meters in the Men's Athletes of the Medan Aquatic Eagles in 2022.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that learning volleyball at school is still mostly conventional, such as learning activities at school are still centered on the teacher. The objectives of this study are: To determine the feasibility of Interactive Multimedia-Based Volleyball Learning Media for Junior High School students. This study uses the Research and Development model using the ADDIE development model which includes (1) Analyze , (2) Design , (3) Develop , (4) Implementation . and (5) Evaluate (Evaluation). After this learning media is used in the implementation stage, the learning media is declared fit for use as teaching materials in schools with an average acquisition score of material experts of 3.6 and an average acquisition score of media experts of 3.6, an average acquisition score of trials the moderate group is 3.7 and the student response as a user is 3.8 so that the feasibility of the learning media developed falls into the "very good" category.

Abstract

Functional training is one of the most widely used training methods to reduce obesity. There are various types of functional training methods, for this reason, an analysis is needed to compare the effect of these methods through a measurement. This study aims to compare the popular functional training methods High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Low Intensity Steady State (LISS) to body fat percentages. Measurements were taken on 20 women assisted by InBody 270. This study used purposive sampling and used a matching by pairing technique. Data was analysed using t-test. The result shows that the first hypothesis is 4.398> 2.101, which means that there was a significant effect of the HIIT functional training method on percent body fat. In the second hypothesis 13.365> 2.101, which means that there was a significant effect of the LISS functional training method on percent body fat. In the third hypothesis 8.966> 2.028, which means that there was a significant effect of the functional training method HIIT and the functional training method LISS on percent body fat. Based on the mean difference (mean df), the decrease in percent body fat in the functional training group HIIT method is higher (2.47) than LISS method of 1.42. It can be concluded that the functional training method of HIIT is more effective in reducing body fat percentages.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between balance and arm muscle strength on lay-up shoot skills in basketball games for MA extracurricular students. Riyadus Sholihin. The sample in this study was taken as a whole or total sampling, namely 30 students. The balance test uses the stand stroke test, for arm muscle strength uses the flexed-arm hang test and for lay up shoots uses the lay up shoot ability test. The data analysis technique was processed with proportions and the hypothesis was tested using correlation with the help of a computer in the excel and SPSS 23 programs. Based on the analysis of the proportion of the data obtained, namely for the results of the balance, the proportion of 100% was obtained, totaling 30 students who had an average balance result in the less category for girls and medium category for boys. The results of arm muscle strength have an average category of less than once for women and very few categories for men. Whereas the results of the ability to lay up shoot have an average result with a less category for women and an adequate category for men. This means that there is a contribution to the relationship between balance and arm muscle strength on lay-up shoot skills in basketball games.

Abstract

The problem in this study was to test and find out flexibility in students before and after carrying out the Dynamic stretching and PNF tests, so this study aimed to determine the effect of Dynamic stretching and PNF exercises on flexibility in students. This research was an experimental data analysis technique from Dynamic stretching exercises and PNF. The research instrument used the Sit and Reach tool. The samples in the study were from Tanjungpura University PKO students, class of 2022. The research instrument used was the Sit and Reached tool to find out flexibility which will be tested. After doing Dynamic stretching and PNF, this study concluded that Dynamic stretching and PNF exercises affected increasing flexibility before and after carrying out the stretching test, known as the Sit and Reach. From the data obtained, it was proven that after the trial test carried out the Dynamic stretching and PNF, there was an increase in flexibility values before and after the test was carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of heavy bag thrust training on the results of forehand strokes in Banyuasin black rhinoceros martial arts athletes. This study used a sample of 30 students, collecting data using the forward punch test on pecing with a stopwatch measuring instrument. The method used is a quasy experiment with a pretest-posttest one group design. The results of the forehand pretest obtained the highest score of 22 and the lowest score of 12, while the results of the forehand posttest obtained the highest score of 23 and the lowest score of 12. The treatment in this study was pushing exercises using a heavy bag thrust given for 6 weeks with a frequency of 3 times a week. Test the effectiveness using the quasy experimental method with the results of a significant "t test" ɑ = 0.05 obtained tcount = (6.6) while ttable = (1.70), then tcount > ttable so that Ha can be accepted while Ho is rejected. The implication of this research is that coaches can use the heavy bag thrust training method as one of the training programs to improve the results of the forehand stroke.

Abstract

Aerobic endurance level (VO2max) is an important part of a hockey athlete's performance. It is very important to reduce fatigue and fatigue when playing, while it can be an advantage in game tactics. Therefore, the purpose of this researcher is to prove that there is a relationship between the level of aerobic endurance (VO2max) and the performance of hockey athletes. This research method uses descriptive quantitative with correlation technique research design. The sample used was 24 Bandung City hockey athletes including 12 male athletes and 12 female athletes and, sampling using total sampling techniques. The instruments used are the Multistage Fitness Test and GPAI (Game Performance Assessment Instrument) for the performance level of hockey athletes. The results of the study analyzed using the Spearman's Rho test on SPSS stated that the data from the average value of the aerobic endurance level (VO2max) of room hockey was 50.00 with a standard deviation value of 10.01 and the lowest score was 37.52, the highest score was 65.82 and the total score was 1200. Meanwhile, the average value of athlete performance is 0.77 with a standard deviation value of 0.074 and the lowest score of 0.67, the highest score of 0.94 and a total score of 18.40. The correlation coefficient of the two variables is unidirectional which is positive 0.567 in the interpretation of moderate correlation. So the results of this study there is a relationship between the level of aerobic endurance (VO2max) on the performance of hockey athletes.
