The inclusive education policies were created for children with special needs based on the equality principle. The implementation of inclusive education policies in each region has a different level of success. This research aims to find out how the implementation of inclusive education policies in elementary schools of Surakarta was reviewed from Grindle’s policy implementation theory. The method used in this research is a mixed-methods, which is involving 102 respondents and 9 informants from 12 inclusive schools. The data analysis used in this research was a descriptive statistic and interactive modeling analysis of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the implementation of inclusive education policy had a positive impact on the students and their environment, with the level of implementation of inclusive education is 76.8%, therefore the efforts are needed to optimize the implementation of inclusive education policies in the form of training for teachers and providing of supporting infrastructures.

This research is conducted based on children with special needs in Vocational High Schools, which has no good career maturity. Moreover, there are no basic career materials for children with special needs in the Vocational High Schools in Surakarta. Therefore, this research aims to develop the teaching materials in the form of a career guidance module to improve career maturity for children with special needs in the Inclusive Vocational High Schools in Surakarta. The method used in this research is Research and Development (RnD) research. The data analysis technique used in this research is the categorization formula. The research finding showed that the developed module had been appropriately stated to be used according to the test result by both experts and practitioners' validators. Meanwhile, the effectiveness test result showed a score improvement of children with special needs compared to the previous pre-tests and post-tests.

This research aims to determine job satisfaction and motivation as mediating the relationship between teacher certification and principal supervision of teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach to causality. To obtain research data using documentation instruments and distributing questionnaires online. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented towards a non-probability sampling approach using a purposive sampling formula. To test the mediating effect of satisfaction and the relationship between principal supervision and compensation on teacher performance, the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with partial least squares analysis is used. Following the research results, Teacher certification has a significant effect on satisfaction and motivation, and teacher certification has no significant effect on teacher performance. The results of subsequent research and the principal's supervision have a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance. Furthermore, the results showed that job satisfaction could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and principal school supervision of teacher performance for the first and second mediation tests. Then, for the third and fourth mediation tests, results were obtained, which stated that motivation could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and supervision of school principals on teacher performance. Therefore, principal supervision has a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance.

This paper reports the effect of Balinese folktale literacy learning on elementary students’ reading ability and social attitudes. The type of research is pseudo-experimental research with a non-equivalent post-test-only control group design. The population in this study was 129 students. The sample was selected by using random sampling techniques. 23 students were treated as an experimental group and 27 students were treated as a control group. The data were obtained by administering multiple-choice tests and distributing questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics, i.e., Manova-test. The data of this study were also described through the classification level of each data group by using five conversion guidelines. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the reading ability and the social attitudes of the students taught by using folktale literacy learning and those who were taught by using conventional learning. It can be seen from the Sig.< value of 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that Balinese folktale literacy learning affected reading ability and social attitudes of elementary students.

Heutagogy skills are needed by students to take part in the e-learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study examines the measurement model and proved the influence of e-learning towards self-directed, self-regulated, and self-determined learning skills. This research uses a survey method, the data is collected through an online questionnaire which shared with 232 respondents. The research instrument validity was tested by Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and reliability test by calculating Cronc’bach value. Path Analysis with AMOS 21.0 was used to analyze the relationship between variables. The result confirms that e-learning significantly affected self-regulated learning. Meanwhile, self-regulated learning has a significant effect on self-determined. Path analysis result indicated that e-learning significantly affected self-determined learning if self-directed and self-regulated learning is first developed. The results of this study also provided an empirical basis for other researchers who want to develop independent learning in students through e-learning. Indicators in self-directed learning can be developed in an online learning process, hence, it can be observed directly on student learning outcomes.

PISA 2018 reported low physical learning outcomes for Indonesian students. Lack of student involvement in learning is one of the causes of this problem. Brain-based learning options (BBL) can be an alternative to overcome this problem. This study analyzes the differences in physics learning outcomes between students with BBL and conventional learning models and the effect of interactions between learning models and critical thinking skills on physics learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a post-test-only control group design. The population of this study was all students of class X who found 120 people. Sample selection using random assignment. The methods used in collecting data are observation and tests. The instrument used to collect data is a test sheet. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive analysis and two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and had been through assumption testing. The results showed that there was a significant difference in physics learning outcomes between students with BBL learning and students with conventional learning (Sig. 0.000 <0.05), and there was no significant interaction effect between learning models and critical thinking skills on physics learning outcomes (Sig. 0.690). >0.05). It was concluded that the BBL learning model had a significant effect on physics learning outcomes. There was no significant interaction between the BBL learning model and critical thinking skills on physics learning outcomes.

Reading is one of the techniques in learning that is often involved in classroom practices, and Two Stay Two Stray is one of the methods introduced in the cooperative learning process. This study aims to find out how the Two Stay Two Stray technique improved students' reading comprehension. This research focused on applied classroom action research. The population of this research was the students of the English Education Department. This research was used to take one class as the research sample, which consists of 32 students. The instrument of this research was a multiple-choice test. There are two cycles in this research. The result shows that students' mean score in cycle 1 was 59,68 and in cycle 2 was 75,31. Based on the results, the Two Stay Two Stray technique was successful. Therefore, it can be inferred that the Two Stay Two Stray technique strengthened the students' reading comprehension. In addition, the students were more interested and inspired to join the class, and they were excited during the teaching-learning process, based on the results of the observation sheet.
