Abstract

The problem in this research is the low interest of student biology in class X3 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur. To overcome this problem, this research applied the learning model of Reciprocal Teaching with Game Smart Case on the subject of the ecosystem in class X3 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur can increase student biology interest. The research method used is class action research method (PTK) which is implemented in two cycles which each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Learning tools in this study are RPP, student interest questionnaire, test instrument sheet and student observation sheet. The results of the study were analyzed descriptively and obtained through the application of Reciprocal Teaching learning model with Game Smart Case can increase the students 'biology interest in class X3 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur, especially the subject of ecosystem, based on the questionnaire of students obtained in cycle I of 65.80% And in cycle II equal to 81,13%. Based on student learning test in cycle I get completeness equal to 63,33% and cycle II equal to 83,33%, then based on student activity observation result obtained percentage equal to 62,90% and at second cycle equal to 80,83%. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that there is increased interest in learning biology of students through the learning model Reciprocal Teaching with Game Smart Case in class X3 SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Timur. Keywords:Interest in learning, Reciprocal Teaching model, Game Smart Case

Abstract

See the low understanding of student learning outcomes and on subjects of mathematics focused on, whether the application of the Learning Metode of inquiry – discovery learning with three-dimensional media graphics can enhance the understanding of the students against the formula on the widespread the surface of the flat-sided room wake up on subjects of mathematics grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 even semester Sibabangun. The purpose of this class action research is to find out whether there is an increased understanding of the students against the surface area formula woke up flat-side space in the subject of mathematics the lesson using the learning metode of inquiry-discovery learning media with three-dimensional graphics. This research procedure includes twocycles where each cycle comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Class action research was conducted in the State JUNIOR 4 Sibabangun, with the object of research grade VIII totaling 42 students, consisting of 17 female students and 25 male students. The results showed that Math learning by using learning metode of inquiry-discovery learning can improve the understanding of the students against the formation of extensive formula is found waking up flat-side room with the results of the cycle I 59.04% and the cycle II 70.02%, and (2) an increase in the diprosentasekan cycle 1 to cycle 2 = 10.98%.Keywords: improve understanding of learning Media, three-dimensional graphics, metodes of inquiry-discovery learning.

Abstract

This study to design, construct and test the feasibility of the learning media useCamtasia Studio 8 and to get information whether by developing learning media of chemistry practicum using Camtasia Studio 8 more effectively and efficiently. The results of the research are: (1) The process of making media using Camtasia Studio 8 includes identification of competence, scriptwriting, media design, animation making, audio making, program testing techniques, expert review, repair, final product. Based on the assessment of media experts, the learning media using Camtasia Studio 8 deserves to be used as a learning video media. (2) The data of the lecturers' lecture in terms of the feasibility aspects of the contents of the first lecturer with a score of 33 and the second lecturer get a score of 27. The language eligibility of the first lecturer score of 31 and the second lecturer get a score of 27. Feasibility of presentation of the first lecturer with a score of 13 and lecturers both received a score of 11. (3) Assessment of the first subject teachers if viewed from the aspect of eligibility of the content with the score obtained 31 as well as from the second subject teachers. The language eligibility of the first subject teacher scores 30, while the second subject teacher scores 27. The eligibility of the presentation of the first and second subject teachers also earns the same score of 13. Abstract

Research action class it aims to find out if a top physics learning can improve student learning outcomes and activities. The research consists of two cycles are performed in class X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Pinangsori Central Tapanuli Regency who numbered 33 students. The characteristics of this class have a liveliness and low learning outcomes than classroom X others. Indicators of success for the liveliness of the students at least 75%, and indicators of the results of the study classical at least 85% of the number of students who take the test. During the research showed an increase in the activities and achievements of student learning of the cycle I to cycle II. On cycle I nthe average ilai psychomotor students end of the cycle I of 75.85 became 79.26 end cycle II, the affective value of scientific attitude on cycle I with an average of 78.03 and rose to 80.74 on cycle II. Analysis of the cognitive learning of students obtained through exam results per cycle is done per cycle. Improvement of cognitive learning results seen from the average value obtained before students cycle 65 ketuntasan with 31%, end of cycle I average of 73.52 with ketuntasan 6 3.64 % and the end of sklus II becomes 78, 1 8 with ketuntasan 87.88 %. From the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of learning physics top can increase the activity and results of the study physics in grade students X-2 SMA Negeri 1 Pinangsori. Keywords: activity, the results of the study and a top Physics.

Abstract

The action research figured out about the effectiveness exploration of a new alternative in Think Pair Share (TPS); with Kemmis & Taggart Model, for science, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) subject. The research cycled the TPS within listening, observing, mentality, emotionality, and motoric activity. First of all, the cycle I signified that the students have lower inquiry in mentality. It had been observed on the lower frequency of asking-giving opinion portions. Secondly, the cycle II signified that there is a not slightly difference of inquiry, however, the students indicated response more than the previous cycle. The third cycle signified a response to the executed activity. It projected students’ determination and enthusiastic in asking-giving opinion within the activity. The cycles mean score estimated 65 for the first one, increased to 74 in the second cycle, and reached 85 in the last cycle. The students’ achievement stimulated the test instruments significantly. In conclusion, the action research about the new alternative in TPS; with Kemmis & Taggart Model proves effective to SD Negeri Gampong Teungoh, Kota Langsa. It is suggested to be applied in science for elementary school subjects as one of the teaching techniques. Keywords: Think Pair Share, learning Activity, and Students’Achievements.

Abstract

Mathematics requires some aspects to support the learning process, including the ability of creativity. It is necessary to look for an alternative learning activity that can enhance learning and provide opportunities for students more active. A cooperative learning approach to the type of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) is one of the alternatives to increase the liveliness of students in learning mathematics; math is creativity, so students increased. This research is a study of a class act in SMAN Angkola South, with the subject population, is a whole grade X-A SMAN Angkola South, as the object of research, is the ability of teachers to manage learning and student activities in the implementation of learning and ability of students in the student's creativity through the implementation of cooperative approaches type TPS. From the results, it can be concluded that the application of the cooperative learning model types Think-Pair-Share (TPS) can be used to enhance the ability of creativity mathematics students. The results of the evaluation at the end of the cycle I indicate the average score reached 34.16 class with the completeness of classical learning percentage of 30%. In cycle II, the average class reached 77.16 by the rate of completeness of classical learning of 90%. Abstract

The results can be seen from the test results of student learning on Ecosystem materials are characterized by the level of student learning mastery. In cycle I with an average value of 78.10 and in cycle II with an average value of 84.48. From the average value ofcycleIandcycle II there is an average increase of 13.25. The percentage value in cycle I is 72,41% with enough qualification. And the percentage in cycle II equal to 86,20% with very good qualification. From the results of the test cycle I and cycle II has been an increase in percentage of 13.79%. Student learning activities increase by using the GI learning model. The value of activity percentage in cycle I is 69,4% with enough qualification. In the second cycle of 80.9% with very good qualifications. From the results of student learning activities in cycle I and in cycle II has been an increase in thepercentage of 11.5%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in student biology learning outcomes through cooperative learning model type Group Investigation (GI) on Ecosystem material in class X MA. Muhammadiyah 06 Kotanopan as prescribed in the action hypothesis in Chapter II so that the hypothesis of this action is acceptable. Keywords:Learning Outcomes, Application of Cooperative Learning Model Type Group Investigation (GI), Ecosystem.

Abstract

This research type is Classroom Action Research with student population of sixth semester Graha Nusantara University which amounted to 26 people with object model of learning using problem based instruction as an effort to improve concept understanding student study on vector analysis course. The results showed the results of concept comprehension siclus I test with problem-based instruction obtained percentage of 69.23% sufficient criteria and on the second siclus obtained percentage of 84.62% good criteria. Based on the observation of student activity on the first cycle obtained student activity levels of 70.56% with sufficient category and on the second cycle increased student activity to 86.68% with good category. As for the observation of lecturer ability of cycle I obtained the average value 3,428571 with the category of "Good" and cycle II increased to 4.107143 with the category of "Good". The conclusion of this study is the use of problem based instruction learning models can improve students' understanding of concepts in vektor analysis subjects.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low of the student’ ability critical thinkig and the result of student study of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak in class ten. The goal of this research is to make the critical thinking of the student  of the student better and to make better the result of their study is chemistry by using cooperatif studying think pair share. The tool to collect the data is test of ability in critical thinking questioner of critical thinking, paper of student activity and also teacher work. The observation kind of research is class action research (PTK). The result of the student study by using studying method of student cooperatif think pair share in the class of ten and according to the result of the student ability in critical thinking in the first siclus is 16  the student pass the tes and the second siclus about 25 the student pass the test from 30 student follow student tes. The result questioner of critical thinking first siclus is enough and second siclus is very good. The result activity observation student has increased as well as the teacher performance observation that has increased. From the research we kow that there is the growth i the questioner of student thinking thinking ability, student activities and the teachers ability in using think pair  pair share cooperative studying model in class ten of Mia-4 SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak. So, this model can be used i chemistry study and others.

Abstract

The use of internet-based information technology on computers in the information network that is learned through cellular technology, cellular-based applications is easier to use the material provided by lecturers, the presence of mobile learning technology becomes a liaison between students and lecturers in learning, with mobile technology becoming a new alternative in providing learning content / items that are more innovative and dynamic. This study uses qualitative data relating to the questionnaire by looking at the feasibility of mobile learning media that contains relevant indicators on the National Education Standards Agency and quantitative data to determine the results of the effectiveness of mobile learning with advanced organizer models in improving chemical cognitive abilities. this is all study program pharmacy Efarina university students. Data collection is done by objective tests for student learning outcomes. Data were analyzed using SPSS 17.0 with a significant level of 0.05. The results of the study are in the form of mean validation to determine whether or not the media of mobile learning is feasible. The results obtained: (1) The composition of the material / media framework on mobile learning media is feasible and in accordance with the Curriculum (2) Mobile learning media developed for the pharmacy study program in the first semester class is feasible to use the results of standardization 3.58, standardization of language feasibility 3.66, standardization of presentation feasibility of 3.72, graphic standardization of 3.69 (3) is certainly the result that is significant improvement in cognitive abilities of students with the implementation of mobile learning with advance organizer models (Sig.1-tailed <α (0.0285 <0.05)).
