Abstract

The population in this study were all grade VII-3 students of SMP Negeri 29 Medan for the Academic Year 2019/2020 which consisted of 2 classes and each class consisted of 30 people. Data collection techniques: 1) Give a test question (pretest) to students. 2) Check and score each item at the same time. 3) Provide treatment with a contextual teaching and learning model to different classes. 4) Give test questions (posttest) to students. 5) Tabulate the scores given. The results of hypothesis testing, namely the average difference test or t test, obtained the price of tcount = 2.19 with ttable = 1.984 for n1 = 30, n2 = 30, dk = 58.

Abstract

Many factors cause the quality of higher education to be low, one of which is the non-implementation of higher education quality assurance. Quality assurance itself should be a separate system that ensures the continuity of quality higher education. So important is this quality assurance that STAITA Padangsidimpuan also plays a role and participates in improving the quality of its education so that the quality of education at STAITA Padangsidimpuan is able to compete with other universities and has a vision and mission as well as characteristics so that the pure goals of what are to be achieved can be achieved. This study uses a qualitative method, because it intends to explain the improvement of the quality of Islamic education through quality assurance activities at universities. Data collection is using interview, observation and documentation techniques. To ensure the validity of the data collected, that is by doing a pol- ulation (cross-checking of data) between methods, both interview data with observation, and documentation, as well as interview data from various informants. The Process of Quality Assurance of Islamic Education at the Tapanuli Padangsidimpuan Islamic High School with several standards, namely: Graduate Competency Standards, Learning Process Standards, Learning Content Standards, Learning Assessment/evaluation Standards, Lecturer and Education Personnel Standards, Management Standards, Learning Financing Standards, Outcomes Standards Research, Research Process Standards, Research Standards, Research Management Standards, Service Outcomes Standards, Service Assessment Standards, Service Financing Standards, Research Cooperation Standards, Information Systems Standards, Cooperation Standards

Abstract

Collection techniques, namely, observation, discussion, literature study. The data that has been collected was analyzed using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of the research that improving teacher performance in carrying out learning, it can be concluded that researchers from peers can facilitate communication between teachers in carrying out learning in class, Researchers from peers can apply teachers to implementing learning in class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research how the character standards of students in the Aliyah Negeri 2 Medan Model Madrasah then find out what kind of policies apply in the Madrasah and know how teachers guidance and counseling efforts in shaping the character of students in the Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan Madrasah such as improve the attitudes and behaviors of students so that they have a personality that is intelligent and Islamic character. Methodologically, this research is a field research with a phenomenological qualitative approach, the primary data source in this study is guidance and counseling teachers, students and principals. Data collection techniques used by interviews, observation and documentation. In analyzing research using data analysis techniques, data reduction, and drawing conclusions after that the validity of the data is examined using credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of this study can be concluded by students in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Model Medan (1) with Islamic character. (2) policies applied: discipline and smiling greetings, obliging congregational prayers and duha prayers, reciting Asmaul Husna during morning apple and muroja'ah surah al-quran before starting the lesson. (3) provide material classically or individually, pay attention to students outside of study hours and provide additional activities as a form of habituation. The conclusion of this study is the efforts made by guidance and counseling teachers in shaping the character of students by enforcing the rules and policies that apply in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Medan Model, as well as providing material and understanding of the character that students must have in a classical or individual way.

Abstract

With details, there were no students (0%) who got very low scores (0-20), students who got low scores (21-40) were found as many as 3 students (10%), students got moderate scores (41-60) as many as 13 students (39%), got high scores (61-80) as many as 16 students (51%) and there were no students who got very high scores (81-100). Of the 32 students in the second cycle, 94% were declared complete, while 2 students had not experienced completeness, 6% with an average score of 87.33. Students are expected to be more active in the learning process in order to obtain better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal in curriculum management in TK IT Madani Rupat Utara. In line with the research objectives, this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. To obtain the data needed, the author uses 3 (three) data collection techniques, namely: 1. Interview, 2. Observation, 3. Documentation. The results of the research on the role and duties of the principal towards his school are very important and greatly affect the existence of the IT Madani Kindergarten in the future. The principal is not just how to improve the school internally but also externally, for example by building relationships with other parties. So that the principal is called an educator because he must be able to educate and follow up every student and student. Principals are also referred to as managers and leaders in their schools because the principal's main authority is to make decisions. So that in this curriculum management the principal is the principal. The role of the principal as a school leader has the responsibility to mobilize all existing resources in the existing school so as to give birth to a work ethic and high productivity in teaching and learning activities

Abstract

Management is the process of utilizing organizational resources to achieve organizational goals. Improving management is one of the efforts to improve the quality of education. This study aims to find out how the acceptance of new students, coaching and development of students, recording and reporting as well as graduation and alumni of Pondok Pesantren Musthafawiyah Purbabaru. The research method uses qualitative research. Data obtained from the results of observations, interviews and documents. Data processing techniques through reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research on the acceptance of new students are that it provides equal opportunities for every prospective new student to register. The announcement contains the terms of registration, time and place of registration. Each prospective student may go directly to the second or third grade on the condition that a test is carried out. Guidance and development of students through classroom learning, worship routines such as congregational prayers, sunnah fasting Monday-Thursday and the Koran, through student councils, student unions and banjars by studying speeches, muzakarah independently. Recording and reporting through the main book, records of violations and student achievements. Students' graduation is carried out after students take the final exam for class VII. After graduation, every alumni of the Musthafawiyah Purbabaru Islamic Boarding School joins the Musthafawiyah Abituren Corps (KAMUS) in every district and city branch.

Abstract

The development and management of Islamic educational institutions in achieving excellence is a matter that needs to be constantly updated and improved so that education continues to exist in responding to the challenges of the times and the needs of the wider community and the industrial world. Because education is believed to be the main foundation in building the civilization of a nation, its quality must be maintained in order to produce superior, noble and competitive governance and graduates. This study aims to reveal the position and role of quality assurance of Islamic education in Islamic religious higher education institutions. This research is a descriptive qualitative type with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and document studies at SMA N 1 Serbajadi. The results of this study indicate that the Quality Assurance of Islamic Education in SMA N 1 Serbajadi has not been fully running well and the elements in quality assurance such as education personnel, educational facilities and infrastructure, curriculum and evaluation have also not run fully in order to produce professional governance, the quality and quality of graduates who are absorbed in the community, humane services to produce outcomes in accordance with the mandate of the Act.

Abstract

This research explains the internal control system and its linkage in ensuring quality learning services at private SMP Nurul Arafah Baktiya North Aceh. The method used is qualitative with the technique of collecting interview data, observation and documentation. The result of the research shows that internal control of school resource management at Nurul Arafah Baktiya Junior High School of North Aceh is done by setting performance standard through principal leadership competence, pedagodic competence, personality competence and social competence as well as teacher professionalism. In addition, supervisors also measure performance by providing performance appraisals, establishing irregularities such as corrupt practices, collusion and nepotism, and providing school development recommendations and problem solving. Internal controls have a good influence on the management of school resources to create quality learning services proven through the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes that are able to internalize science in life, have good principal leadership competence in managing and deciding a policy that can support the education system The quality of the school, then the realization of a healthy school environment, orderly and comfortable for learners with adequate facilities and infrastructure. The principal also has an effective ability in the management of educational personnel to realize the professionalism of educational personnel by providing rewards for educational personnel who excel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine planning implementing Ulumuddin Arabic language curriculum management in Lhokseumawe City. This study uses qualitative methods, so the data sources are informants, namely the leadership of Dayah Ulumuddin, Deputy Head of Education Dayah Ulumuddin, Head of Dayah, Deputy Head of Dayah, Language Builder, teachers, and santri. In addition, documents are also used, including documents of Head of Dayah Salafy, Deputy Head of Dayah Salafy, especially in the curriculum, and administration documents. The researcher obtained data through observation including the process of developing Arabic language activities, the process of extra-curricular activities, decision making, teacher council meetings, facilities and infrastructure, socialization, and program management, as well as institutional management processes and others. The results of the research are planning is done by first considering the aspects related to the curriculum, both the planning process by involving many people, the contents of the curriculum, the curriculum system to be applied, the availability of resources both human and non-human resources. Then what the Dayah wants to achieve related to fostering Arabic, then formulates the steps in achieving it through a planning program.
