Abstract

CV. Mulia Tata Sejahtera is a company that produces metal and wood parts using machines such as lathe, milling, drilling and CNC. The company has a production target of 2450 pcs in the 1st period, while the realization of the output produced in the 1st period production process is 2427 pcs. This shows the low level of company productivity. Therefore, this study is aimed at identifying the causes of the low level of productivity by taking into account the resources used. In addition, to provide suggestions for improvements that can be made to increase production efficiency and company productivity. To determine the productivity of CV. Mulia Tata Sejahtera for one period throughout 2020, the measurement of productivity is carried out with Marvin E. Mundel. In this study, three measurement criteria were carried out, namely, labor productivity index, labor absenteeism and production output. The lowest labor productivity index was found in the 6th period with 94.19, while the highest was in the 5th period with 105.98. The lowest labor absentee productivity index was in the 12th period with 69.44, while the highest was in the 6th period with 166.67. The productivity index of the lowest production output level was in the 12th period with 90.97, while the highest was in the 11th period with 110.49. In measuring the company's productivity, the trend is increasing and decreasing or fluctuation.

Abstract

Based on the hydrological cycle, one of the main water sources is rainwater. weather or climate conditions that occur will greatly affect the nature and condition of a rain or rainy season. On a global scale, the existence of water naturally is constant, only occurs in variations both in time and space on a regional scale. Analysis of the rainfall characteristics of Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) residential and commercial areas 2  Cluster "C" in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, is for to find out the intensity of rainfall used for drainage planning. The daily rainfall data used includes 5 rain catching stations with a duration of 25 years (1994 - 2018). The Van Breen method is used to process rainfall data within a certain period into rainfall intensity with various times for drainage planning used. In the planning of drainage channels the rainfall return period used is PUH 2 for tertiary lines with selected rainfall data of 192 mm / day and PUH 5 for secondary lines with selected rainfall data of 219 mm / day. The IDF curve shows that rainfall intensity is affected by the time and return period of rainfall, where the shorter the rainfall time and the greater the return period of rainfall, the higher the intensity of rainfall produced.

Abstract

Sungai Mahap is used by the people of Nanga Mahap Village, Nanga Mahap District, Sekadau Regency for daily needs such as cooking, transportation and even consumption as drinking water. Utilization is done by the community because this area has not been flooded with clean water facilities. The quality and status of the Mahap River water quality standard needs to be further examined to study the feasibility of water as an air source used by the community regarding the importance of increasing plantation activities upstream. This research uses descriptive method using quantitative. Air sampling was conducted using a sample survey method with proposed parameters namely BOD, COD, pH, DO, TSS and NH3. Water quality testing is based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 and determines the status of water quality using the STORET method and the pollution index based on the Decree of the Minister of Environment No.115 of 2003. In this study, the river pollution load was also calculated. The results show that the composition of BOD, COD, and Fe has exceeded the specified quality standards. The water quality status of the Mahap River is classified as moderate to severe based on the STORET method and Pollution Index. The highest river pollution load occurs at point II, in the dry season at 104.725 kg/day and in the rainy season at 171.873 kg/day

Abstract

This study aims to study the efficiency of CO and SO2 gas absorption in motor vehicles emission using activated banana leather bark (Musa acuminate L). The carbon was prepared though consists of a banana skin carbonation process at a temperature at 450 o C for 1.5 hours and activated carbon activation process using H2 SO4 activator at concentrations of 1 Nfor 1, 2 and 3 hours.The motor vehicle emission absorption process uses an adsorption tube which has been loaded activated carbon and connected to the exhaust for 5 minutes. The test of activated carbon characteristics studied were absorption test I2, FTIR test and SEM test. The results showed that iodine absorption was 914 mg / g. The FTIR spectra of activated carbon showed absorption band spectra at wave number 781,17 - 3624,25 cm-1 on vibration of group -OH, with intensity 77,85%. The SEM results show the addition of pore size before and after activation of 1.131 μm and 15.015 μm. The carbon CO gas absorption efficiency is 25% and Gas SO2 is 40%

Abstract

The development of renewable energy sources continues in the ASEAN region to meet the ASEAN energy mix target of 23% in 2025 and 31% in 2050. This is to meet the region's estimated 50% increase in energy demand. Renewable energy development projects in the ASEAN region have a beneficial effect on the ASEAN community's social life. This research is a review of the literature, examining journals on the socioeconomic benefits of NRE development through the lens of ASEAN member countries. Several conclusions can be drawn from the analysis's findings, including the following: (1) this renewable energy project can alleviate poverty by involving community members in utilizing natural resources to build power plants; (2) the creation of new jobs; (3) gross domestic product (GDP) is projected to increase by 2.5 percent in 2050; (4) the establishment of gender equality for women in the use of energy for regional development; and (5) an increase in education and scholastic achievement. Abstract

A combustion process in power plants, industry and transportation can cause air pollution problems, one of which is the pollutant of Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) gas. One of the stages of air quality management is monitoring. In monitoring air quality, there are several factors that need to be considered because they can affect the measurement, there are meteorological factors. This study analyzes how temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind speed affect the measured NO2 concentration. NO2 and meteorological concentration data were taken at the same time at the location of the DKI-1 air quality monitoring station (Bundaran Hotel Indonesia, DKI Jakarta). Analysis of the relationship between measured NO2 concentrations with temperature, humidity, rainfall and wind speed was performed using multiple linear regression analysis. The analysis showed that there was a strong relationship between NO2 concentration and four meteorological factors. The R2 value indicates the effect of the four meteorological factors on NO2 concentrations is 38.3% and the remaining 61.7% is influenced by other factors not included in the measurements in this study.

Abstract

Patchouli oil is one of the largest export commodity in Indonesia, But today quality of patchouli oil is still very low it is characterized by low content of patchoulialkohol as the main component. This study aims to analyze the main component of patchouli oil (patchoulialkohol) quickly without damaging the sample. The design of this study using the model calibration and validation of patchouli alcohol by using Partial Least Square (PLS) as part of the analysis Chemometrics. The results showed that the improved performance in the pretreatment PLS performance multiplicative scatter correction with RPD greatest value is 302.5. So it can be classified into good performance model of the correlation coefficient (r) is high 0.99, the coefficient of determination (R2) a good 83%, and an error value (RMSECV) the smallest is 0.02.

Abstract

Cibaligo River is the polluted rivers in Cimahi City. The river that flows through three districts and 6 sub-districts in Cimahi City catchment  area of 666.19 hectares of watershed with a total length of 7 km. The land use of the district through which this river passes is domestic, trade, agriculture, livestock and industry whose waste will end into the Cibaligo River. The impact of these activities causes the river to be polluted and a decrease in water quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the status of water quality from upstream to downstream which represents the transition, dry, and rainy seasons. Knowledge of water quality status can be used as basic data for controlling water pollution in rivers. The pollutant index (IP) method used in this study is in accordance with the Decree of the State Minister for the Environment Number 115 of 2003 concerning guidelines for determining water quality status. The results showed that the water quality status of the Cibaligo River from upstream to downstream represented that each season was categorized as heavily polluted with the highest index value being in the rainy season at the downstream point. The main contributor that causes river water to be heavily polluted is domestic wastewater, especially the presence of total coliform and fecal coliform that exceed the established quality standards. Based on the results of the research, efforts to tackle domestic waste are needed to improve the quality of this river water.

Abstract

Beta lactam  antibiotics are pollutant in water bodies such as lakes and rivers. Beta lactam rings may have a negative impact on living beings  in lakes and rivers. Beta lactam rings also cause resistance or bacterial resistance to antibiotics. If human beings are  exposed to beta lactam ring, this  could negatively impact on their health. This study attempted  to break down the beta lactam rings  with several chemical reagents. These reagents hydrolyze the beta lactam ring and are then  analyzed using the  HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) instrument. This study aims to determine the how effective  the reagent for breaking the beta lactam ring. The research was conducted in  three stages: preliminary research, research on reagent effectiveness  , and research on β-lactamase degradation  using reagents. The results showed that calcium hypochlorite was able to  break the beta lactam cycle  with 100% efficiency.

Abstract

Humans have utilized landscape for  produces a diverse character of the wider area of the watershed. Agroforestry is a land management system in addressing the problems that arise due to changes in land use of soil and water conservation. The aim of the study was to analyze plant diversity in agroforestry practices that have services in the Krueng watershed landscape in Aceh watershed. Develop strategies in the Krueng Aceh DAS agroforestry service. This research was conducted in the upper, middle and downstream of the Krueng Aceh watershed, with a rapid method of Agro-Biodiversity Appraisal and SWOT. The results showed that the composition of the vegetation structure found in the study sites tended to vary with the diversity index of agroforestry that was currently in the upstream and middle of the Krueng Aceh watershed. Based on SWOT analysis, internal scores are 2.45 and external scores are 3.21. Agroforestry practices in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed were dominated by Aleurites moluccana, Areca cathecu, and  Averrhoa bilimbi L  species with the highest INP in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed. Vegetation at the middle stream of Krueng Aceh watershed dominated by Areca cathecu, Lansium domesticum and Musa paradisiaca.
