Abstract

Prophet Muhammad SAW is the messenger of God who became the leader of the prophets and messengers sent by God. He is the prophet and the last messenger sent by Allah SWT. As a prophet and apostle, he is also a leader in various fields of life, all movements, behaviors, and attitudes are ideal examples for humanity. Other qualities possessed by the previous prophets, also became part of his character, including in terms of his leadership. Prophetic values ​​which in contemporary terms often call it by the term of prophetic. Prophetic leadership is defined as the leader’s ability to control himself and influence others to achieve common goals by imitating the lives of the prophets. The Prophet's leadership has four aspects, namely; sidiq (honest and following the truth of conscience), amanah (responsible and reliable), tabligh (communicating empathically and effectively), and fatonah (intelligent because of taqwa). Internalization of the concept, if it refers to history during the Umayyad era, the famous leadership of the prophet has four aspects, namely sidiq (honest and following the truth of conscience), amanah (responsible and reliable), tabligh (communicating empathically and effectively), and fatonah (intelligent because of taqwa) is Umar Bin Abdul Aziz. In general, leadership during the Umayyad era had applied prophetic values ​​in their respective leadership, but it was not maximized and comprehensive from the prophetic dimensions. This happened to almost all the leaders of the Umayyads, except Umar Bin Abdul Aziz, he was the only leader of that era who, in the view of historians, carried out his leadership to advocate Rosulullah and Khulafaurrosyidin, and was even given the title of the 5th Amirul of the believer after Khulafaurrosyidin. Abstract

The curriculum is the spirit of the world of education, where the existence of a curriculum is always possible, and then what is an effective and efficient curriculum for our education which in fact is different from different cultures, ethnicities, races and religions? Curriculum evaluation has an important role in the world of education. Without an evaluation, we will not know the weaknesses and strengths in the planning and implementation process of the curriculum that has been used. Abstract

Character education requires the knowledge and art of managing existing resources, so that the character values that are implanted can be accepted as a whole and comprehensively, in other words so that the purpose of the education unit is to instill the values of Javanese cultural character which are beginning to be neglected, can be achieved effectively and efficient. These Javanese identic character values are integrated into the curriculum and lesson plans. Abstract

So far, Islamic education is still looking for relevant formulas to form a good system to meet the demands of scientific and technological developments, so that it becomes quality, competitive, and integrative education. Basically the current formulation of education is the result of the manifestation of the thinking of education experts as a solution to the problems of education in its day and is continued as a solution to the problems of education today. Al-Ghazali is a figure thinker and practitioner in the world of Islamic education. The focus of this study is to examine one of his phenomenal works, namely Ihya 'Ulumuddin. The research objective was to analyze the three components of Islamic education in the book, namely the objectives, materials and methods of Islamic religious education. This research is a type of library research with a character and text study approach. Collecting data using document analysis study book Ihya 'Ulumuddin as primary data source, and other relevant references as secondary data sources. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses content analysis and interpretation. The findings show that Al-Ghazali's perspective of Islamic religious education aims to achieve the happiness of the Hereafter without neglecting worldly goodness as a means of achieving happiness in the hereafter. The educational method in his thinking refers to two methods of gaining knowledge, namely the method of habituation and thinking under the guidance of a muallim (teacher) and murshid (educator).

Abstract

The era of globalization has affected the lives of Indonesians, one of which is the educational aspect, especially in Islamic boarding schools. This can no longer be avoided by pesantren education institutions, especially if these educational institutions want to survive and succeed in the midst of globalization. Therefore, pesantren education institutions should carry out developments in their education, in order to realize efforts to respond and be responsive to the challenges of the times. Nurcholish Madjid is a Muslim scholar who discusses pesantren education in the modern era, with the idea of ​​modernizing pesantren education. The results of this study indicate that the development of pesantren education with the perspective of Nurcholish Madjid is a way, an effort to change better pesantren education, based on the modernization of Islamic boarding school education, in the sense that the development is carried out in a contemporary (modern) nuance, following the direction of the times, without eliminating the values ​​of authenticity of the pesantren itself (Indegenous), with the fields being developed including curriculum, learning methods and leadership. As for Nurcholish Madjid's thoughts, what can be adopted by education in general is Nurcholish Madjid's desire to create a curriculum that is balanced in emphasis, so that the principle of integrity is realized.

Abstract

Pengalihan kebudayaan akan membuat generasi semakin dewasa dalam bersikap. Ada beban baru yang harus dipikul sebagai tanggung jawab guna melestarikan dan mengembangkan kebudayaan yang ada serta siap untuk terus menerus meningkatkan kemampuan dan keahlian semasa hidupnya. Pendidikan nasional akan berjalan dengan baik, jika kehadirannya mau menerima kritikan dan saran dari masyarakat serta lingkungan. Pendidikan yang dihasilkan dari budaya lokal kemasyarakatan akan mampu mencetak lulusan yang berkualitas, karena terdapat umpan balik pada sistem pendidikan itu sendiri. Dengan perubahan dan perkembangan yang terjadi berdasar kearifan lokal masyarakat akan mampu mempengaruhi roda sistem pendidikan masyarakat. Kekuatan dan kekhasan pendidikan yang tercipta berdasar budaya lokal masyarakat akan mampu memperkokoh pondasi sistem pendidikan. Artikel ini mencoba melakukan analisis akan penyesuaian pendidikan sesuai zaman berdasar perubahan atau inovasi guna meningkatkan dan memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan berdasar sendi-sendi tertentu.

Abstract

The study of learning strategies in pesantren seems endless, every time it is researched, it will bring up new and different views and perspectives, as well as when changing objects between one pesantren and another, it will bring up various conclusions, although the same in style and character. . The uniqueness and diversity in maintaining the characteristics of each pesantren are the main reasons why pesantren are exclusive and different from other types of educational institutions, including the classroom learning strategies that apply homogeneous classes. The majority of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia apply the same thing, namely learning in class by differentiating students by gender, this is what triggers various assumptions about homogeneous class goals and objectives, the learning strategies that are implemented and how they impact learning motivation, communication, social behavior and character learners. The method used in this research is a research library which relies on various references to support this research activity. The conclusion is that the aim of enforcing a homogeneous class in pesantren is that apart from the tradition of the pesantren, the culture of the pesantren minimizes the mingling of men and women who are not Muslim. The learning strategy is applied in a homogeneous class based on learning motivation, communication, social behavior / self-confidence and the character of students. The impact is that motivation to learn in a homogeneous class has no impact. Meanwhile, communication is only visible when engaging in society, while the social maturity of students in a homogeneous class is lower than that of heterogeneous class as for the characters of male and female students, there is a difference, a different learning strategy is needed.

Abstract

Abstract. The educational environment is everything that exists and occurs in the educational process, because the group of objects or the educational environment participates in efforts to develop itself. In this case, educational management, especially in Public Relations management, by paying attention to the human environment, namely a community with quality education. To create a harmonious situation and conditions between the school management and the community, simultaneous and comprehensive cooperation and contact between the two parties is needed. The school's public image is a very appropriate step in creating harmonious conditions between the management and the community. Kotler (1995) broadly defines image as the number of beliefs, images, and impressions that a person has on an object. The object in question can be a person, organization, group of people or anything else that he knows. If the object is an organization, it means that all beliefs, images and impressions of a person's organization are images.

Abstract

Quality education as a pillar of development through the development of individual potential cannot be separated from efforts to improve the quality of education. This is certainly realized by the government so that various policies appear to realize quality education. However, the situation faced by the government is in fact not only in improving quality, but also related to the equalization of education itself. The government has included regulations that have been elaborated technically and applicatively in seeking the realization of guaranteed quality education. However, quality assurance of education is not only the duty of the government, but covers all components that are in education, especially related to the education process itself. As part of the dynamics of education, we should not only rely on government policies, but also contribute to the maximum by carrying out a role in education as well as possible.

Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution that has a very large share for the religion of Islam and character formation for the Indonesian nation. Pesantren which is currently very surviving makes a major contribution in the journey of the nation, with its traditional functions brought by muslim scholar Zamakhsyari Dhofier with the tradition of pesantren, and the role of Kyai, but also pesantren requires the renewal of systems directed at community development. Therefore, nurcholish madjid as a reform figure provides ideas to revise or update pesantren education management systems in managing existing resources so as to achieve success. The results of this study show that pesantren education management manages and organizes human resource education institutions to achieve goals efficiently and effectively through managerial functions. The management of pesantren education according to Nurcholish Madjid is a modern and traditional management of pesantren education management by producing superior human resources efficiently and effectively through managerial functions. The other side is that pesantren management is an activity in organizing and managing pesantren education through managerial functions.
