Abstract

Human resources are the most important asset of a company, in order to achieve the desired goals a company requires good management, especially human resources. Good human resource management is believed to be able to provide optimal performance for the company. This research aims to examine the influence of leadership style and work discipline on employee performance at PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA Rent) Cabang Lampung. This type of research is quantitative research. The population is all 100 employees using a saturated sample. The data collection method used a questionnaire and variable measurement using four Likert scales which were distributed to employees of PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA Rent) Cabang Lampung. Data processing and analysis techniques use validity tests, reliability tests, partial tests (T), simultaneous tests (F), multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination. The research results show that simultaneously, the Leadership Style and Work Discipline variables have a positive and significant effect on the employee performance of PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA Rent) Cabang Lampung. Partially, the Leadership Style and Work Discipline variables have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA Rent) Cabang Lampung

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Work from Home (WFH) and work motivation on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction, as well as determine the role of gender in moderating the relationship between WFH and employee performance. This research is quantitative research with a causality analysis approach. The research instrument used was a questionnaire prepared on a five-point Likert scale. The sample size in this study was 293 respondents, all of whom were employees of the Tanjung Priok Main Service Office of Type A Customs and Excise. Data were analyzed using the SEM-PLS method with the help of SmartPLS software version 3.2.29. The research results show that WFH has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, but had no significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction can partially mediate the relationship between WFH and employee performance, as well as fully mediate the relationship between work motivation and employee performance. Gender can strengthen the effect of Work from Home (WFH) on employee performance, especially for female employees.

Abstract

A company's performance is mostly influenced by its human resources' capacity to adapt, develop, and contribute fully to the business. The primary element to gaining a competitive advantage is to implement effective and innovative HR management techniques. Companies must assure employee work satisfaction because it has a direct impact on productivity, retention, and the organizational image. This study aims to analyse the effect of perceived organisational support, intrinsic motivation, and person-job fit on job satisfaction among employees of PT Mitra Tirta Buwana Tbk Yogyakarta. This research is quantitative and uses primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires taken with the census technique on respondents. Data collection using direct surveys was processed using multiple linear regression analysis, preceded by classical assumption tests utilising the SPSS software application. The results stated that perceived organisation support has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, intrinsic motivation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, and person-job fit has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction. The implication is that companies can increase antecedents to strengthen their employees' job satisfaction

Abstract

The education system in Indonesia has undergone several curriculum changes over time, one of which is the implementation of the “Merdeka Belajar” curriculum as an evaluation of its predecessor, the 2013 curriculum. This curriculum was designed to adapt to the educational needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to elucidate how the “Merdeka Belajar” curriculum is implemented in the integrated social studies subject for eighth-grade students at SMP Panca Setya 2 Sintang. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data were obtained from interviews with the school principal, vice principal of the curriculum, social studies teachers, and eighth-grade students, while secondary data included reading materials and documents. Data analysis followed the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, encompassing data collection, reduction, display, and verification. The research findings indicate that the implementation of the “Merdeka Belajar” curriculum is progressing well, although teachers require assistance in its execution. Challenges encountered include difficulties in fostering creative learning processes, limited references, unequal access to learning, and time management issues. Recommendations to address these challenges include utilizing the “Merdeka Mengajar” platform and enhancing digital access for all stakeholders involved in the learning process.

Abstract

The large number of beauty products in Indonesia can increase competition between the cosmetics industry. Therefore, companies compete to control market share and develop marketing strategies to increase consumer buying interest. The aim of the research is to determine and analyze the influence of Celebrity Endorsement and Brand Image on the impulse purchase interest of consumers for Scarlett Whitening products in Bandarlampung. This type of research is quantitative with a descriptive analysis method. The sampling technique in the research used purposive sampling. The data collection method uses a questionnaire and variable measurement uses four Likert scales. The sample in this study was 120 respondents. The data analysis techniques used include validity and reliability tests. The data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing in the form of T Test, F Test and Coefficient of Determination Test. The research results show that simultaneously, the Celebrity Endorsement and Brand Image variables have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Interest in Scarlett Whitening in Bandarlampung. Partially, the Celebrity Endorsement variable has a significant influence on Purchase Interest and the Brand Image variable also has a significant influence on Purchase Interest.

Abstract

Recent developments have encouraged changes in people's shopping styles, from conventional to online. The online shopping style that society continues to adopt also influences the basis of people's decisions in determining which e-commerce to choose to fulfill people's online shopping activities. This research will analyze the influence of e-commerce innovation, e-service quality, customer satisfaction, and loyalty on Tokopedia customers in Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data in the form of a questionnaire, which is distributed and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this research found that e-commerce innovation has a positive impact on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. E-service quality has a positive impact on customer satisfaction but not a significant impact on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive impact on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction mediates the development of e-commerce innovation and e-service quality on customer loyalty. A thorough understanding of the factors that influence customer satisfaction is essential in gaining customer loyalty for e-commerce companies in Indonesia. Companies must be able to adapt the innovations and the quality of electronic services provided to the factors that influence customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in creating a sustainable digital business ecosystem to support inclusive global economic growth. The research method used includes collecting and analyzing various documents such as research reports, academic publications, government policies, and industry documents related to digital business ecosystems, sustainability, and global economic development. The results show that the integration between the concepts of digital business ecosystems and sustainability has a crucial role in creating a sustainable business environment. Key factors such as digital inclusion, sustainable innovation and multi-stakeholder partnerships were identified as important elements in achieving this goal. The implications of this research highlight the need for collaborative action between governments, companies, and non-governmental organizations in designing policies and business practices that support sustainable economic growth. Building a comprehensive, forward-thinking, and environmentally friendly digital business network is essential for long-term economic development that positively impacts society. Stakeholders can achieve long-term improvements that benefit future generations by prioritizing economic, social, and environmental sustainability. This research aims to build a durable digital business environment for the betterment of the world economy through its contribution to academic literature and business practice.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of independent factors like achievement-oriented leadership style and organizational climate. Affective commitment is a dependent variable, whereas job satisfaction is an intervening variable. The primary source of data for this quantitative study was an instantaneous Likert scale questionnaire delivered to each research participant. Employees of PT. X Jakarta and Medan make up the research population. A sample of 136 participants was selected using non-probability sampling techniques in conjunction with the purposive sampling approach. This study makes use of multivariate data analysis methods with the statistical model SEM-PLS. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect of achievement-oriented leadership style on job satisfaction, affective commitment and affective commitment through job satisfaction. There is also a positive and significant effect of organizational climate on job satisfaction, affective commitment and affective commitment through job satisfaction. And there is a positive and significant effect of job satisfaction on affective commitment. These results provide managerial implications regarding how to increase employee affective commitment by paying attention to the achievement-oriented leadership style of the leaders and the organizational climate formed and increasing employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

PT. Makmur Agro Lestari, Ketungau Hilir District, is one of the oil palm plantations in the Sintang Regency region, which also produces fresh fruit bunches (FFB) from its own plantations. Market FFB using sustainable and quality production methods so that the company's palm sales can increase with each harvest and each year. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection involved interviews, document research, and observations. The research subjects are property managers, administrative heads and employees. The researchers analyzed the results of the interviews based on the respondents' understanding of what was expressed. The data that has been compiled must be understood as a whole so that the researcher can grasp the experiences, issues, and dynamics that are actually occurring within the population being studied. Research results show that marketing of palm products always meets FFB's sales goals. The company has cooperated with customers to sell palm products to PT. ASL - POM Agency is one of the largest buyers of palm fruit in West Kalimantan. From the quality perspective of FFB. Makmur Agro Lestari Ketungau Hilir district harvests and sells selectively, so the quality and selling price are stable according to FFB's market price when sold to purchasing companies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine locus of control and entrepreneurship education in STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students, interest in entrepreneurship in the era of society 5.0 in STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students, and the influence of locus of control and entrepreneurship education on interest in entrepreneurship among STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students.  The method used in this research is quantitative and the form of this research is multiple regression.  The population in this study were 790 students who had taken entrepreneurship education courses.  The sample used was 100 students.  The results showed that locus of control in STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students showed a probability value of 0.000001 which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05 (5%), which means it was in the low category, while entrepreneurship education in STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students showed a probability value  of 0.094144 is greater than the significance level of 0.05 (5%) which means it is in the high category.  There is a significant influence of locus of control and entrepreneurship education on the interest in entrepreneurship of STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang students with r2 = 0.495454 or 49.5% and the significance level of the locus of control variable is 0.0000 <0.05 and the significance level of entrepreneurship education is  0.0003 <0.05 with the condition that tcount > ttable, namely locus of control of 4.955023 > 1.98 and entrepreneurship education of 3.797132 > 1.98.  Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that locus of control and entrepreneurship education have an effect on interest in entrepreneurship in the era of society 5.0 in STKIP Persada Khatulitiwa Sintang students.
