Abstract

National education transformation demands the strengthening of human resources (HR) with character, adaptability, and technological literacy. This article develops and tests the AI-Tree HR Model, a digital-based personality assessment system that integrates the HR Tree Personality with artificial intelligence. This model is built on the philosophy of the HR Tree Model (Ramly, 2023), which describes human development through three main structures: roots (values and spirituality), trunk (competence and mindset), and fruit/leaves (behavior and work results). This study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE framework and Agile Software Development principles. The research subjects consisted of 582 respondents (teachers, students, and principals) in a school environment who participated in the digital assessment based on the AI-Tree HR Personality System. Analysis was conducted using the Multi-Stage Weighted Index (MSWI) method on three main dimensions: ease of use, usability, and accuracy. The results show that the AI-Tree HR Personality system has high content validity and excellent reliability, with a total feasibility index of 92.7% (very feasible). AI integration improves the accuracy of assessment results, provides adaptive learning recommendations, and accelerates the process of mapping the character and potential of educators and students. Conceptually, this research expands the paradigm of local human resources, which are based on values and spirituality, with the support of AI technology. Practically, the implementation of the AI-Tree HR Model will strengthen Garuda School's position as a model for national education transformation based on character, values, and technology towards the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of using AI-based virtual assistants in employee training and development. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through an online survey of 150 respondents working in various companies in Gresik Regency. The study aims to evaluate employees' perceptions of AI-based virtual assistants, focusing on their effectiveness, ease of use, learning experience, motivation, and impact on skill enhancement and productivity. Descriptive analysis revealed positive perceptions across all measured aspects, with average Likert scale scores above 4.0, indicating strong acceptance of thistechnology. Pearson correlation analysis showed significant positive relationships among the variables, suggesting that a positive perception of one aspect correlates with positive perceptions of others. Multiple linear regression analysis identified "Learning Experience through Virtual Assistants" as the most significant predictor of employee performance improvement. These findings highlight the potential of AI in enhancing employee training and development programs, providing valuable insights for HR practitioners and policymakers in designing more effective training strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Asta Brata leadership and organizational culture on employee commitment with job satisfaction as a mediating variable at Klinik Pratama Sidhi Sai, Bali. Using a quantitative explanatory design, data were collected through questionnaires administered to all employees and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM–PLS). The results show that Asta Brata leadership has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and employee commitment, while organizational culture significantly affects job satisfaction but does not directly influence commitment. Job satisfaction strongly affects employee commitment and mediates the relationship between leadership and commitment (partial mediation) as well as between organizational culture and commitment (full mediation). The research model explains 87% of the variance in job satisfaction and 93.2% of the variance in employee commitment. These findings emphasize that local wisdom–based leadership and a supportive organizational culture enhance employee commitment primarily through increased job satisfaction, offering strategic implications for strengthening loyalty, satisfaction, and service quality in healthcare institutions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze various types of financial risks on the performance of insurance companies in Indonesia by including control variables such as leverage, age of the firm, size of the firm, and an additional variable, namely board size. The risks analyzed include credit, market, operational, liquidity, underwriting, and solvency risks. This study uses a quantitative method with secondary data from 32 conventional insurance companies for the period 2020–2024. The focus on conventional insurance was chosen because it has better data completeness, consistent reporting standards, and a significant role in the national insurance market to provide a clear picture of financial risk patterns in the industry. In addition, this sector is interesting to study because it has a complex business structure, broad risk exposure, and high sensitivity to changes in economic conditions. The analysis was conducted using panel data regression, and the fixed effects model was determined to be the most appropriate model. The novelty of this study lies in the addition of board size to assess the supervisory role in the relationship between financial risk and profitability. The results of the study show that credit risk has a positive impact on performance, while other variables such as market risk, operational risk, leverage, and age of the firm have a negative impact. Meanwhile, liquidity risk, underwriting risk, solvency risk, size of the firm, and board size do not show a significant effect, emphasizing the importance of effective risk management and operational efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of credit risk, capital adequacy, liquidity and efficiency on return on assets of banks in Indonesia with the control variable bank size. This research was conducted at Conventional Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019 to 2023. The research population is the annual report of conventional banks in Indonesia so that the number of samples obtained is 37 banks using purposive sampling method. The analysis method used is data panel analysis. The results showed that credit risk has no effect on return on assets, capital adequacy has no effect on return on assets, liquidity has a significant positive effect on return on assets, efficiency has a significant positive effect on return on assets and bank size has an effect on return on assets. The managerial implications of this study indicate that despite increased credit risk, banks in Indonesia can still maintain profitability through strengthening risk management, optimizing capital utilization, balanced liquidity management, improving operational efficiency, and strategically managing bank size growth. The novelty of this research lies in its use of the most recent period covering the pandemic and recovery phase, as well as the integration of key banking indicators into a comprehensive empirical model. Managerial implications highlight the need for strengthening liquidity management, enhancing operational efficiency, and optimizing bank scale to maintain profitability in a dynamic economic environment.

Abstract

This study examines strategic institutional strengthening through horizontal integration among smallholder dairy farmer organizations under the coordination of the Solidarity Association of Alumni of the Indonesian People’s Animal Husbandry School (SASPRI) in the Bogor Region. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design was employed to analyze institutional dynamics and managerial practices. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis, and were analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques complemented by SWOT analysis. The results indicate that horizontal integration has been implemented at an operational and early institutional stage, as reflected in collective milk collection, coordinated production activities, and shared asset utilization. These practices contribute to improved operational efficiency and collective bargaining power. However, horizontal integration has not yet been fully institutionalized, resulting in semi-decentralized governance and continued dependence on specific actors. Internal and external strategic analysis reveals that organizational strengths are mainly derived from farmers’ experience, physical resources, and alumni network support, while key weaknesses persist in marketing management, institutional administration, and human resource incentive systems. The study concludes that horizontal integration functions as an effective institutional strengthening strategy when supported by more formalized, systematic, and long-term oriented governance arrangements. The findings contribute to agribusiness management literature by highlighting the role of alumni networks as governance agents and provide practical insights for strengthening smallholder dairy farmer organizations.
