Abstract

Along with the passage of time, the human need for modes of transportation is increasing. The increasing number of residents is inversely proportional to the limited time they have, so transportation modes such as trains are one solution. Rantau Prapat Railway Station has many shortcomings which of course must be improved and added to be able to serve the community in the future. This redesign is oriented to the community as users of transportation modes, how the flow of human and vehicle circulation is the main problem. The Rantau Prapat Railway Station must also be an attractive city gate, especially since the city of Rantau Prapat is the last destination city on the North Sumatra railway line. Therefore, the application of the Contextual Architecture theme is used so that the design that is set also follows the flow of an increasingly sophisticated future era. How a Railway Station that can function well functionally but can also be a city gate that gives interest to visit.

Abstract

Highways are an important means for people to reach their destination. The main function of the road is as a service provider of traffic movement, making it easier for people to reach their destination, distributing goods quickly safely, comfortably, and economically. The road is not always in good condition, even a lot of damage to the pavement before the age of the road plan is reached. There are many cases of early damage to roads in Sukabumi Regency that are found during road improvement / construction activities. Road Section: Pangleseran – Cibatu is one of them that will be carried out Road Improvement / Construction in 2022. Because this road section already exists, it will only be implemented overlay / additional layer only. In search of additional pavement thickness used component analysis method SKBI 2.3.26.1987. Based on the results of the analysis for the road section: Pangleseran - Cbatu obtained thick pavement additional layers for the age of the plan 5 years with a thickness of 10 cm, while for the age of the plan 10 years is with a thickness of 14 cm. Type of pavement for road section: Pangleseran - Cibatu is cement concrete. As for the causative factors of road damage is due to the level of heavy vehicles ≥ 8 tons increased, and drainage systems are clogged due to sediment and closed disposal by the surrounding community.

Abstract

The Sukabumi (Baros) – Sagaranten Km Bdg 115+200 road section which is located in Sukabumi Regency is a road section for the province of West Java. Because the road is always damaged due to being eroded by water infiltration in the rice fields that seeps into the road body area at that location and the soil at that location tends to be unstable based on the results of lab tests having a shear angle value of 4.99áµ’ and having a specific gravity of 17.45, then it is carried out analysis of the existing damaged retaining wall and the design of a new gabion-type retaining wall at that location. The gabion retaining wall building will be designed with 3 designs, the first using a stone volume of 13 m3, the second using a stone volume of 8 m3 and the third using a stone volume of 6.5 m3. Based on the results of the calculation analysis using Rankine theory, it was found that the existing retaining wall was unable to withstand the shearing force which got a check value of 1.18 which should have a value of SF > 1.5, while the 3 gabion plan buildings got the appropriate SF value, namely against the overturning force, shear force and soil bearing capacity.

Abstract

The impact that occurs from the rampant development of residential areas will certainly make the volume of surface water flow or run off become large. Drainage is a system created to deal with the problem of excess water flow that is above the surface of the earth, some of the things that cause excess water are caused by high water intensity and the long duration of rain. In this study, the problem that occurred was in the drainage network in the residential area of Vila Rizki Ilhami 2 Sawangan, which was a transfer of land functions from infiltration land into a residential area. Evaluation that must be done is covering hydrological analysis and hydraulics analysis to get the amount of flood discharge plan that will be used to analyze the capacity of the planned channel so that no flooding occurs at the location of the settlement area when the settlement is built, recommendations for drainage system design and determine the size of the river dimension / size / times that should be made when accommodating water discharge during maximum rain so that the flood control system can be well integrated. With 3 methods of calculating rainfall, the method of calculation is selected using the gumbel method which is SNI (Indonesian National Standard) with a return period of 2 years, 5 years and 10 years. From the evaluation obtained is to add height height or free board to accommodate flood discharge plan.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the basis for implementing road safety consists of five pillars which are compiled in the General National Road Safety Plan (RUNK). One of the pillars proclaimed is the behavior of safe road users. This aims as an effort to reduce traffic accidents because road users are the biggest factor in road accidents related to user behavior. The cases of road traffic accidents in Indonesia are dominated by motorcyclists, especially Jakarta, which is one of the cities with a fairly high rate of motorcycle accidents. Because the behavior of road users is closely related to traffic accidents, and also motorcyclists are the users who are involved in the highest traffic accidents, this study explains the factors that determine the safety behavior of motorcyclists in Jakarta. The application of the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is used as a basis for finding the factors that may determine the behavior of the motorcyclist. Furthermore, the research approach used in this study is quantitative with primary data in the form of a closed questionnaire instrument from 230 respondents who ride motorcycles in Jakarta. The data analysis technique used is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using the AMOS 22.00 program as a tool in determining the determinants of driver safety behavior. The results of the analysis show that the most dominant direct predictor in determining the safety behavior of motorcyclists in Jakarta is the intention to behave safely. While the indirect factor that determines is the attitude of the driver. The results of the analysis also show that the age of the driver has a significant influence on safety behavior.

Abstract

The use of helical foundations to support structures on peat soil is still a new method. Research is needed to develop this foundation. There are 6 types of helical foundation tested on peat soil. To study the effect of helical plate diameter, plate diameters were varied with sizes 25 cm (M), 35 cm (L), and 45 cm (G). Plate positions (1, 2, 3 plates) are designed at 300 mm spacing. The axial compression bearing capacity test is carried out based on the constant rate of penetration procedure. At the beginning of loading, the load increases significantly. At a certain descent, the load begins to decrease slowly. The load-settlement curve shows that the larger the plate diameter, the greater the load it can withstand. The largest bearing capacity is produced by the GGG 30 foundation (3 plates dia.45 cm), which is 10.83 kN. LLL 30 helical foundation (3 plates dia.30 cm) provides a bearing capacity of 7.14 kN. These results clearly explain that the increase in plate diameter is directly proportional to the increase in the axial compression bearing capacity.

Abstract

Special interest tourism is one of the efforts to provide alternative tourist attractions and sustainable tourism development in Bali. Visits of both domestic and foreign tourists to Bali in the last 4 years (2015-2019) have increased by an average of 8%. Now the tourism sector in Bali, especially in Bangli Regency, is starting to investigate or explore the possible development of tourist attractions through the development of tourist villages. In this case, the development of special tourism, including the tourist village of Bayung Gede, Bangli is very dependent on the architectural components of traditional settlements and the traditions of the residents in it as a source of attraction and main attraction for tourists. However, the influence of tourism has led to the transformation of traditional settlements. In this case, the transformation has given rise to a paradoxical phenomenon where on the one hand traditional housing attracts tourists, on the other hand the presence of tourists has led to a transformation of the traditional settlements of an area. The purpose of this study is to examine the architectural components of the Bayung Gede Village settlement as a tourism potential based on special interest tourism and then to find out how far the tourism architectural potential is found and how strong the Bayung Gede Village settlement icon is as a special interest DTW. The method used is a qualitative-exploratory and descriptive method. The results show that the traditional settlement of Bayung Gede Village contains elements of special interest tourism such as elements of novelty seeking, quality seeking, enriching, rewarding, adventuring and learning, so that it has the potential as religious tourism (the existence of four types of graves), culture (settlement and residential layout) and citrus plantation sector agro-tourism in improving the economic sector of the community. Investigation and inventory of Bayung Gede traditional housing is an effort to find a village icon that has prestige that can attract tourists to visit and be able to compete with other tourist villages.

Abstract

The challenge of Pererenan Beach Development is to determine the efficiency of resource utilization, so that it does not exceed its carrying capacity. The carrying capacity of Pererenan Beach tourism is carried out by analyzing the suitability of coastal tourism. Then calculate the capacity to measure the number of tourists that can be accommodated without damaging the ecosystem. This study aims to determine the suitability and carrying capacity of coastal tourism. The method used is quantitative and descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the carrying capacity of the area on Pererenan Beach was classified under the carrying capacity and had a very suitable relative criterion (S1) with a percentage value of 96% suitable for use as beach recreation tourism. The Covid-19 pandemic provides a lesson that the concept of carrying capacity is important to avoid mass tourism and reduce the number of tourists according to their capacity so that visitors get comfort and travel satisfaction.

Abstract

Mosques serve as a place of worship and foster Muslims who live around the mosque, so the function of this can give a positive impact for Muslims' life. Mosques also function as a place for developing people's activities from the time of Prophet Muhammad to the present. It certainly plays important roles so the condition of the mosque, especially the interior, needs to have comfort element in order to get more solemnity when carrying out those activities. Mosque Al-Hidayah is located in Kampung Belentuk RT 001 RW 001, Kelurahan Cimahpar, Kecamatan Bogor Utara, Kota Bogor. This Belentuk village area has a land area of 23 hectares with a Muslim population of 1571 and 807 of them are men. This village has three mosques which Masjid Al-Hidayah is one of them. At this time, mosque Al-Hidayah has land area of 339 m2 with a building area of 128,9 m2 so that the room capacity can only accommodate 106 people. The number of men of Kampun Belantuk are divided into those three mosques of the village, even so, Mosque Al-Hidayah is not able to accommodate the number of people especially on Friday prayer because the number of worshipers is more than the current capacity of the mosque. The result of the analysis shows the need for prayer space is 330 m2 to accommodate 270 worshipers in prayer activities, especially Friday prayers, then the result of the analysis of the existing concrete structure were carried out by means of a concrete bounce test using the Hammer test, it is known that the average value of the concrete quality in the column is fc'=13.34 MPa, the block is equal to fc'=14.41 MPa. It indicates that the quality of the existing concrete of the Al-Hidayah Mosque does not meet the requirements of SNI 2847-2019 Article 19.2 concerning the minimum allowable normal concrete quality, then the design is carried out according to space requirements and a structural analysis is carried out on the planned design. The planned design is based on the existing space and land requirements which are 15 m x 14 m with a height of 3.5 m per floor and structural analysis is declared safe.
