Abstract

Blended learning facilitates learning by providing various learning resources and considering the characteristics of learners. This study aims to conduct a needs analysis for the development of blended learning in instructor training at Basarnas. Needs analysis is carried out to explore information about gaps and needs as well as student profiles that can be used as a basis or reference in developing blended learning at the next stage. This research is a descriptive study with quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. Interviews were conducted with the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Planning and Standardization of Basarnas Personnel, while the filling of the questionnaire was carried out by the Basarnas Rescuer who will attend instructor training as many as 50 respondents. The results show that instructor training at Basarnas can be designed in the form of blended learning by using a project-based learning approach to overcome existing limitations or gaps so that the implementation of blended learning that combines the delivery of face-to-face learning and online learning can be an intervention that is suitable to be applied and appropriate. with the needs at Basarnas.

But rather often, human rights abuses come from academic environments such as schools and colleges. The study aims to analyze the implementation of human rights values in history study. The study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, whereas the data-collecting technique is a document or documentary study instrument. These findings suggest that the study of history has affected the behavior of students that reflect the virtues of human consciousness. Human rights values such as equality and the ban of discrimination (nondiscrimination) are reflected in students after the historical learning process is done, it can be seen both inside and outside the equation. Thus history study alone has significant effects on students, such as mutual respect of opinion, upholding the values of tolerance, cooperation and so forth. The conclusion of the article is that the effectiveness of learning needs to be optimized so that the human rights reflected in every historical event are capable of being thoroughly analyzed and understood by learners, which are then a provision for students to live national and national.

Abstract

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a type of malignancy found among women, with the second highest number of sufferers globally aged 15 to 44. However, the motivation for women to do cervical cancer prevention is still low. This study aimed to test the effectiveness of education on motivation and primary prevention measures for cervical cancer in young women. The research method used was an experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design. The sampling technique used was a proportional random sampling of 150 respondents who met the inclusion criteria, 75 as the experimental group, and 75 as the control group. The statistical test used was Wilcoxon and Mann Whitney test. The Wilcoxon test results showed that the p score was 0.000 <0.05, which means a significant difference in motivation and action in the experimental and control groups before and after education. Test results. Mann Whitney showed a p score was 0.000 <0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that education effectively increases motivation and the primary prevention of cervical cancer.

Abstract

Traffic safety training whose material needed a concrete visualization aspect. To accommodate this, teaching materials were needed to support the learning process. This study aims to describe the results of needs analysis which is the first step of the Research & Development process conducted with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by conducting research through documentation, observation, and interviews. The results of the needs analysis have been found several problems, that is the heterogeneous characteristics from training participants, limited experience of training participants, limited training time, lack of teaching materials, and training implementation locations throughout Indonesia. Hyper content-based printing modules are a great alternative because they can bring related factual aspects of traffic safety to training participants. In the next research, it is expected to develop a hyper content-based traffic safety training module.

Abstract

The main factor of air pollution in Indonesia is motorized vehicles. Motorized vehicles operating on the road will produce exhaust gas emissions which result in air pollution. In overcoming exhaust gas emissions in vehicles, the Ministry of Transportation conducts training for exhaust emission inspection, and conducts training at one of the technical implementation units, namely the Indonesian Land Transportation Polytechnic (PTDI) STTD. The purpose of this study was to conduct a needs analysis to develop a hyper content learning module for training on exhaust emission examinations, using the R&D (research and Development) method using the Derek Rowntree model. The hyper content module is a module that combines hypertext, hyperlinks, and hypermedia, and the media used in the form of video, QR code, YouTube, and cloud computing. With the development of the hyper content module, it is possible to improve the understanding and learning outcomes of training participants in studying exhaust emissions from vehicles when compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

Learning media is an important learning component. Therefore, teachers must able to develop instructional media that can improve student abilities. One of the learning media that supports these goals was interactive multimedia. This study aimed to develop valid, practical, and effective interactive multimedia learning on Information and Communication Technology subjects. This research was research and development. The development model used was a 4-D model, which consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The defined stage was carried out with curriculum analysis, material analysis, and student analysis. The design stage was carried out by designing the learning media. At the development stage, validity tests were carried out through validation sheets of learning media, practicality tests through media application observation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, effectiveness tests obtained from the knowledge competency assessment. The disseminated stage was carried out by spreading the device. The analysis results showed that the Interactive learning media in Information and Communication Technology subjects have been tested and got a valid score (89.25%), according to the teacher's response (90.23%) in very practical category, students’ response (90.09%). The response was in the very practical category. With this score, interactive multimedia is categorized as practical and effective learning media.
