Abstract

The reason for this examination was to inspect the status, all things considered, ranging from teachers, learning facilities, students and school partnerships, namely the school committee (parents of students). on the one hand, the readiness of some teachers in mastering technology is still not optimal as a demand for distance learning and the school is not yet optimal in disseminating the curriculum for independent learning or the enactment of the curriculum during the pandemic. This investigation utilizes an illustrative subjective technique which means analyzing and afterward describing the problem obviously, sourced from library research with metaphysical realism as the approach. To help understudies influenced by the pandemic and possibly left behind, instructors are required to complete a symptomatic evaluation. The aftereffects of the appraisal are utilized as the reason for choosing learning procedures and giving healing or extra exercises to understudies who are generally given up.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of clinical supervision and self-efficacy on teacher pedagogic competence. The place of research is at State Vocational High Schools in West Jakarta Administration City. This study used a survey method with path analysis techniques and a causal quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 72 teachers who were taken using simple random sampling technique or simple random sampling and the teacher who became the object of the research was determined using the sample technique formula from Slovin. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics by first doing the prerequisite analysis test, namely population normality and regression analysis. The findings from the study show that the success of school principals in the clinical supervision process will determine teacher pedagogical competence. Competent teachers can manage to learn well and increase student learning motivation so that learning objectives are achieved and produce students who excel in their fields. This can be achieved if the implementation of clinical supervision is carried out in the right and proper way.

Teaching other skills in the implementation of literacy activities are crucial to prepare the students to compete in working field, especially in Vocational School. This study aimed to investigate (1) the kinds of English literacy activities implemented in SMKN 1 Singaraja, (2) how to teach the 21st century skills (4Cs) in English literacy activities in SMKN 1 Singaraja which consisted of preparation, steps and assessment of the 4Cs skills, (3) Teachers’ challenges while teaching the 21st century skills (4Cs) in English literacy activities in SMKN 1 Singaraja. The design of this research was descriptive qualitative. The setting of this research was SMKN 1 Singaraja and the subjects of this research were 120 students and 3 teachers in this school. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview, note taking, document analysis and documentation. The finding showed that (1) there were five English literacy activities implemented in this school namely, reading response journal, news reading program, guiding object commentary, travel itinerary writing and cooperative literacy program. (2) In the implementation of those English literacy activities, the teachers taught the 21st century skills (4Cs). In reading response journal, the 21st century skills taught were critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills. In news reading program and cooperative literacy program, all of those 21st century skills (4Cs) were taught.  In, guiding object commentary, there were three 21st century skills were taught namely critical thinking, creativity and communication skills. At last, there were three skills were taught in travel itinerary writing namely critical thinking, collaboration and creativity skills (3) In teaching the 21st century skills, the teachers still had challenges in teaching critical thinking, collaboration and communication skills. There was no challenge in teaching creativity skill in English literacy activities. This research was expected to be beneficial for the policymaker, schools, and teachers who had big effort in implementing effective literacy program in schools. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of online zoning PPDB at SMA Negeri 4 Bekasi City during Covid-19. During a pandemic, the entire PPDB process is carried out through one route. As for the difficulty, prospective students can come to school by sticking to health protocols and research in June 2020. The research location is one of the favorite high schools in Bekasi. Primary data sources were obtained from in-depth interviews directly with informants. Secondary data sources are taken from books, journals, and other official documents from informants. The selection of informants was selected by purposive non-probability sampling: data collection techniques used online observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data validity used source triangulation—this research analysis using descriptive method. The data collection technique was carried out through interviews with parents, school representatives, and related agencies and was also supported by literature studies related to school zoning policies. The results showed that the application of PPDB zoning was more effective online during the pandemic. Because it can minimize parents' arrival and optimize the functions of the existing PPDB system. The implementation of the school zoning policy caused turmoil in the community. Limited time for socialization, lack of understanding of the PPDB mechanism with the zoning system, and uneven educational standards are some of the obstacles in its implementation in the field.

Abstract

Online learning is a form of learning that can answer the times, technological advances and knowledge of learning development in universities. This study uses the R&D method in designing online learning. The online learning design is carried out on human performance technology courses using the PEDATI model combined with a project-based learning approach. The PEDATI model itself has several design steps starting from formulating online learning, mapping material, determining asynchronous or synchronous and designing the selected learning path. Asynchronous learning at PEDATI which consists of, deepening, applying and evaluating with a project-based learning approach that has six steps. The results of the research resulted in an online learning design which consisted of formulating learning outcomes, mapping materials, making asynchronous learning flows combined with project-based learning syntax.

The data sources in this study were 541 evaluation instruments spread over eight teaching materials, namely compiling procedural texts, studying explanatory texts, managing information in lectures, studying life in short stories, preparing proposals, designing scientific papers, assessing works through reviews, and performing plays. The results showed that overall the evaluation instruments relevant to various communicative competence indicators were 110 questions or 20.33% while the evaluation instruments relevant to various indicators of cooperative competence were 81 questions or 14.97%. This percentage shows that the communicative and collaborative competences in the evaluation instrument in Indonesian BSE have been developed quite well.
