Abstract

Teachers and students encounter obstacles while online learning during the pandemic. Online learning because students bored if only using learning media in the form of videos taken from YouTube and assignments given by teachers through Google Classroom and Whatsapp groups. The limited ability of teachers to use digital learning media is the cause of the monotony of learning media during online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the design and validity of the developed application learning media. This development research applied the ADDIE model. The data collected used a questionnaire method with a questionnaire instrument. Data analysis used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The subject of this development research is a learning media in the form of an android application. Afterward the subject content reviewed by expert validators, learning design experts, media experts.  Finally conducted trials by students in individual and small group. The results of data analysis based on media validation by content experts obtained a score of 92.8% with very good qualifications, learning design experts obtained a score of 87.5% with good qualifications, learning media experts obtained a score of 85% with good qualifications. The results of individual trials on 3 students obtained a score of 90.1% with very good qualifications and a test through a small group test on 9 students obtained a score of 90.9% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of data analysis product test by experts and the testing results on students, it is concluded that the learning media of this study are valid to be used in learning by students grade VI.

Abstract

The students' difficulty understanding lecture material is due to the lack of learning media that can help students learn independently. This study aims to develop a learning video tutorial based on the Screencastify screen record. This type of research is developmental research. The development model used is the Plomp development model. The development of the learning model is divided into three stages, namely the initial research, the prototype production, and the model assessment stage. The technique of collecting data in this research is observation and interview. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out to know the feasibility or validity of the product being developed. Media testing uses expert judgment. The validity measurement uses the Likert scale. The results of the validity and practicality of the validators were carried out by using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC) test using the SPSS program. The results showed that the educational statistics tutorial videos were classified as valid for all categories and very practical, with a score of 85.5 based on students' answers as respondents. It can be concluded that the learning video developed is valid so that it is feasible to be applied in the learning process.

Abstract

The low competence of natural Science caused by using a learning model that is less than optimal makes it difficult for students to understand the learning material. This study aims to analyze the effect of blended learning based on a problem-based learning model assisted by puzzle media on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students on the ecosystem theme of SDN 03 Pegundan. This type of research is an experimental study using a pre-experimental design in the form of a one-group pretest-posttest design. The number of samples in this study was all students of class V SDN 03 Pegundan, totaling 26 students using saturated sampling type. Data collection in this study was obtained through interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative statistical data analysis techniques. This study obtained t-test results obtained t count > t table,  8.829> 1.706 and the results of hypothesis testing which stated that there was an effect of learning motivation,  the regression test, the result was 62.1%. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be concluded that there is an effect of blended learning based on a problem-based learning model assisted by puzzle media on the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students on the ecosystem theme of SDN 03 Pegundan.

Abstract

Various competencies that students need to master in an effort to strengthen competitiveness, especially in the field of human resources in the 21st century. Learning media integrated with technology is one of the important learning resources to support the learning process. The lack of innovation in the use of learning media that is integrated with technology makes it less optimal for the achievement of learning objectives and mastery of competencies by students. This study aims to identify the need for opportunities for developing instructional media that are integrated with flipbook-based technology in the hope that it can increase students' opportunities in improving scientific literacy skills. This research is a qualitative research with a survey method. Data collection techniques using observations and needs analysis questionnaires. The quantitative data from the questionnaire were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques using percentages that were displayed in a table. The research subjects took senior high school students in grades one and two, with a total of 70 students. The results of this study indicate that 35.7% of students stated that teachers still use Microsoft Powerpoint media and 27.1% of printed teaching materials. The results also showed that students had positive perceptions of the opportunities for developing and utilizing flipbooks as a medium for digital learning. Through the results of this research, it can become the basis for educators in developing and implementing flipbook-based digital learning media to facilitate the learning process.

Abstract

Lack of development of instructional media reduces student interest in learning so that it affects student literacy in the learning process. The purpose of this research is to develop E-learning with schoology to improve literacy in geography learning in flora and fauna material. This type of research is development research. The data collection technique was carried out through three data collection methods, namely observation, questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study are experts in the validation of E-learning product designs with schoology which consists of three components of the validator's most dominant assessment, namely the element of product quality with a value of one validator of 52%, and two components of the validator's assessment. 78%, and the results of product trials with a value of 0.42. %. So it can be concluded that E-learning with schoology is declared suitable for use in the learning process and is very easy to use based on literacy in geography learning.

Abstract

Selection of learning objectives that are not quite right can affect the success of the implementation of learning, so a learning device is needed with attention to the formulation of learning objectives. This study aims to analyze learning tools regarding the learning objectives of language aspects, social emotional aspects, artistic aspects, religious and moral aspects, and physical motor aspects in the 2013 Curriculum curriculum. This type of research is a development research with the Rowntree development model. The subjects of this research are learning tools regarding the learning objectives of language aspects, social emotional aspects, artistic aspects, religious and moral aspects, and motoric physical aspects. The data collection method used in this research is to use the interview method, the questionnaire method and the documentation method. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative descriptive analysis technique and quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study obtained an assessment of the learning tools developed with an average score of 4.7 by content experts, an average score of 4.3 by learning design experts, and an average score of 4.6 by linguists. The conclusion of this research is. Learning tools regarding the learning objectives of language aspects, social emotional aspects, artistic aspects, religious and moral aspects, and physical motor aspects in the 2013 Curriculum are deemed appropriate for use in early childhood learning.

Abstract

The inadequate condition of the laboratory, facilities, and infrastructure is the main obstacle to the lack of practicum activities. The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of discovery-based virtual laboratory learning in improving science process skills of students. This type of research is a one-group-pretest-postest design research. Population and sample taken were students who took Basic Chemistry II course. The data collection method was carried out in a documentary manner and data analysis was in the form of calculating the percentage increase in science process skills and the criteria for the effectiveness of N-Gain. The results obtained were discovery-based virtual laboratory learning that succeeded in improving students' science process skills. Science process skills with high criteria increased by 91% and in the moderate category by 9%. Based on the N-Gain calculation, discovery-based virtual laboratory learning obtained an average percentage of effectiveness of 66% so it can be concluded that discovery-based virtual laboratory learning is quite effective in improving student science process skills. Through discovery-based virtual laboratory learning, student science process skills are more easily developed so that learning becomes more meaningful.

Abstract

The background of this research is that students' understanding of the material for Estimating Construction Costs is not maximal, marked by the low learning outcomes of students in Construction Cost Estimation subjects, teacher-centered learning orientation, students have not been able to learn independently and only rely on explanations of material from the teacher, and materials. the teaching available has not been able to facilitate students to learn independently and thoroughly. The research objective was to develop and reveal the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the Student Facilitator and Explaining Cooperative Learning module to increase student activity and learning outcomes through increasing critical thinking skills, creative thinking skills, communication skills, and collaboration skills. This research was conducted using the research and development (Research and Development / R&D) method using the Four-D (4D) development model. The Four-D (4D) development procedure is Define (restriction), Design (design), Develop (development), and Disseminate (deployment). The results obtained from this study were the validity of the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining which was declared valid on the material aspects in the module with a total value of validity was 99.3% and the module format aspect was declared valid with a total value of 91.7. The Student Facilitator Cooperative Learning Module Type is stated to be practically based on the teacher's assessment with a practicality value of 88.62% in the very practical category and 88.98% in the very practical category. The module effectiveness value shows an increase in the pretest score of 55.00 to 84.58 in the post-test score with the gain score in the medium category. %. Based on the findings of this study, it is concluded that the module based on the Cooperative Type Student Facilitator and Explaining is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in the Construction Cost Estimation subject.

Abstract

Teachers are not innovated in developing media, therefore students’ interaction in online learning was not optimal. This issue raised a new problem such as, lack of deepening character values for students. The media developed was an E-Book containing character values. Therefore, this research aims to describe the design process of E-Book product with character values and find out the results of E-Book validation according to the results of expert reviews, individual try-outs, and small group try-outs. The type of this research was a development research by applying ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Then, data collection method which used was questionnaire and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis were gained based on media validation assessed by content learning experts obtained a score of 91,67% with very good qualifications, instructional design expert obtained a score of 100% with very good qualifications, learning media expert obtained a score of 95,00% with very good qualifications. The results of individual user test on 3 students obtained a score of 95,83% with very good qualifications, and the user test through small group test on 12 student obtained a score of  97,50% with very good qualifications. Based on the results of the product test data analysis by experts (content learning expert, instructional design expert, learning media expert) and user subject test results (students), it can be concluded that E-Book media containing character values were suitable to be used in PPKn learning subject for 5th grade elementary school students. The implication of using E-Book as technology-based learning media supported by existing facilities and infrastructure in schools such as internet access (WiFi), computers / laptops, LCDs, projectors, as well as the readiness and skills of teachers and students in accessing E-Book media.

Abstract

Children's language skills are a problem that needs attention because many children are not yet able to write and use good and correct language. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of online learning based on the complete sentence model on student learning outcomes in Theme 2 Playing in My Environment Sub-theme 1 Playing in the Home environment writing skills for class II. This type of research is experimental research with a research design that is pre-experimental designs. The study population was class II consisting of 28 students for the 2020-2021 school year. The sample taken was class II students consisting of 28 students using nonprobability sampling techniques. In this study, the data analysis technique used is quantitative statistical data analysis techniques. The results showed that the score of the t-test showed that the results of the calculation of the score data of students with t count = 1.717804 with a price of t table = 1.701113, then t count> t table. This research concludes that there is a significant increase, so online learning based on the complete sentence model is effectively used for student learning outcomes in theme 2 Playing in My Environment Sub-theme 1 Playing in the Home environment writing skills class II.
