Abstract

This research aims to explore the direct influence of internal marketing on employee satisfaction, organizational commitment and consumer orientation, as well as examining the indirect impact of internal marketing on consumer orientation. An additional focus of this study is to identify the important role of cultural congruence in organizational contexts. This type of research is descriptive-causal research. This survey used 100 respondents from employees at Anutapura Hospital, Kota Palu, Sulawesi Tengah. Respondents were selected using proportional stratified sampling, which implies that the number of employees depends on the size of the division. The analysis technique that will be used in this research is the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique using the SmartPLS partial least squares (PLS) application. The results of this research found that internal marketing has a positive effect on employee satisfaction, organizational commitment and customer orientation in hospitals. In addition, employee satisfaction and organizational commitment were found to be able to mediate the relationship between internal marketing and customer orientation. Cultural congruence identified in this research was found to have a moderating effect on the relationship between internal marketing and employee satisfaction, but not on organizational commitment. The implications of this research are that management needs to pay greater attention to the development of effective internal marketing strategies. Apart from that, management must also consider cultural congruence in managing the organization.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of ease of use, convenience, risk, trust, and security on the adoption of BNI ( Bank Negara Indonesia ) mobile banking, emphasizing the mediating role of customer satisfaction. The research is grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Data were collected through a survey of 148 BNI mobile banking users in Bali and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The findings reveal that convenience and security significantly influence customer satisfaction and the intention to use the application, with satisfaction partially mediating the relationship between convenience and intention. In contrast, ease of use, risk, and trust do not have a significant impact on satisfaction or intention. These results underline the critical role of convenience and security features in driving customer satisfaction and promoting the use of BNI mobile banking. To enhance the user experience, banks should focus on optimizing these aspects. Future studies could expand the scope by comparing these findings with those of other mobile banking platforms to identify the relative strengths and areas for improvement in BNI mobile banking services.

Abstract

Welcoming the era of Society 5.0, through the program "Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka," universities are expected to transform the higher education system as the driving force for creating superior human resources for the nation's future. This study aims to explain the dynamics of the independent learning program activities at the independent campus across seven faculties at Bhayangkara University, Jakarta. The research adopts a post-positivist paradigm with a case study approach, involving 25 informants and five key informants. Secondary data were obtained from the Sistem Pembelajaran Daring - Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (SPADA DIKTI), which includes a compilation of data from students, lecturers, and education staff. Primary data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies related to the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program. The data were analyzed descriptively using manual data analysis procedures. The results indicate that most faculties and study programs have not yet optimally explained the flow, program procedures, and complete infrastructure used in implementing the program. However, most students and lecturers acknowledge that the program is highly beneficial and critical for developing quality human resources for the future.

Abstract

This literature review examines how corporate culture development and integration in the mining industry affect employee management, including relations, engagement, and development. The aim is to analyze existing research to understand the significance and impact of corporate culture on employees within this sector. The review involved shortlisting 600 journals and analyzing 42 articles using a systematic critical review, complemented by a meta-analysis through VOS Viewer software. A taxonomy of the research gap was applied to identify areas for further exploration. The findings highlight the critical role of leadership in shaping and promoting corporate culture, as well as the strategies and approaches required for successful culture development initiatives in the mining industry. The meta-analysis from VOS Viewer suggests the need for further investigation into this area, while the systematic review uncovers gaps related to population, evidence, and knowledge. The study acknowledges limitations in the existing literature, recommending future research to address these gaps and enhance the understanding of effective corporate culture practices. The originality of this review lies in its methods, offering valuable insights for both practitioners and scholars interested in fostering corporate culture development and integration, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.

Abstract

The informal sector in the labor market is often regarded as filled with low-quality, low-productivity, low-wage jobs. However, in Indonesia, the informal sector is important in absorbing more than half of the total workforce and providing subsistence wages for those not absorbed in the formal labor market. This study used SUSENAS microdata to determine the workforce determinants in working in the formal and informal sectors. The study results show that higher education, male gender, and living in an urban area increased one's chances of working in the formal sector. This study also found an inverted u-shaped curve on age, where a person's tendency to work in the formal sector would increase at the beginning of their productive age and decrease after entering the age of 27. Marital status in this study increased opportunities to work in the informal sector. This research may use to improve the labor policy and improve the job opportunity in both formal and informal sector.

Abstract

The agricultural sector plays an important role in both economic growth and national food security. The adequacy of domestic production must be able to meet the needs of the community. If not, then the government seeks to import. Fruits are one of the public consumption goods and provide a potential market for local farmers. However, field data shows that Indonesia's fruit imports still tend to be high. This condition further causes the welfare of local farmers to decline. In addition, from a macroeconomic perspective, import policies cause disruptions to price stability in Indonesia. This study aims to explore the impact of import policies on farmers' welfare and price stability in Indonesia. This research is conducted using a qualitative approach based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The results of this study show that the import policy has a negative impact on local fruit farmers and disrupts price stability.

Abstract

Islamic finance is an important instrument in offering crucial support for the resilience of global economy after the failure of the capitalist economic system in 1998. The institutions showed good ability and sustainability during a period marked by negative trends in conventional banks. The halal industry, as an aspect with a major influence on the growth of Islamic finance, was considered inseparable from the role of digitalization. This was evidenced by the achievement of a world economic output of USD 193 billion through job creation to drive global growth. In addition, important instruments in digitalization with a major impact on the economy played a significant role in the growth of the sector. Therefore, this research aimed to determine the influence of the determining factors shaping the relationship between digital economy and Islamic finance. A quantitative approach was adopted through panel data regression analysis to examine digital instruments within 11 of the world's highest halal industrial countries. The results showed that valuable input for the government and financial institutions in developing strategies and policies for the growth of Islamic finance was provided through digital economy. In this context, appropriate policies were designed to facilitate innovation and growth by understanding the influence of the digital economy.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between environmental, social and governance disclosure (ESG Disclosure), financial reporting quality and investment efficiency. This research aims to analyze the influence of ESG disclosure and financial reporting quality on investment efficiency with audit quality as a moderating variable. This research uses quantitative methods with secondary data, companies listed on the BEI ESG Index for 2018 – 2022. These findings also show that the impact of FRQ on investment efficiency decreases with shorter maturities. Research shows good ESG disclosure contributes to investment efficiency by reducing information asymmetry between companies and investors. However, high-quality financial reporting can have a negative impact on investment efficiency because quality financial reports do not necessarily reflect the actual condition of the company. Audit quality factors do not significantly influence the relationship between ESG disclosure, financial reporting quality, or investment efficiency.
