Abstract

The performance is considered to be an important part of the business for their long term survival. For this purpose, the supply chain integration (SCI) indicators are considered to be an important part to increase the performance of the organization. The organizations which have a little attention on the SCI has low level of their performance.  To address this issue, the current study purpose is to investigate the impact of supply chain indicators on the business performance (BP) of food industry. For this purpose, data has been collected from the 450 top and middle managers that were working in the food industry of Indonesia. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) of the study has shown that internal integration (INI) and external integration (EXI) have a positive and significant relationship with the BP. On the other hand, information technology integration (ITI) has insignificant relationship with the BP. While, supplier buyer relationship coordination integration (SBRCI) and logistics integration (LOI) have a positive and significant relationship with the BP. These findings indicate that food industry of Indonesia played an important role on the SCI to increase their BP. Therefore, this research is considered to be a pioneer study in which SCI played an important role to increase their BP. The research limitations and future direction were also discussed at the end of the study.

Abstract

Abstract? Supply chain management of regulation are mainly used in the field of municipal services management. Coordination between local governments and other organizations that control the provision of municipal services is poorly developed on the territory of municipal entities. The solution to this problem becomes particularly relevant in the context of creating the supply chain system for the management.  It is quite obvious that a review of approaches and methods in organizing the provision of municipal services is necessary under supply chain strategy. First of all, we implemented the effective supply chain for allocation of resources in the context of the transition to medium-term budget planning, and also to the integration of supply chain mechanism for organizing the provision of municipal services in the existing territorial development management system. This article provides an insight into supply chain management practices in a municipal context. It highlights the status, challenges and way forward for the implementation of supply chain management in a municipal environment.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to identify the effect of green supply chain management on environmental sanitation management in Banda Aceh. It caused by a high level of diversity and population density and circular migration in these city. This quantitative study conducted to 3 districts along case, namely densest, most diverse population and circular migration characteristics. A total of 400 respondents spreading in 3 districts were participated in this study. The result of the study shows that the behavior of Banda Aceh people is categorized as standard. Furthermore, the awareness level of Banda Aceh people on environmental sanitation management is categorized as good. Meanwhile, Green supply chain strategy and people awareness are caused by increased population growth due to massive urbanization and high birth rate. However, the existence of public facilities (such as garbage dump, etc.) and people's awareness about the environment is still lacking. Environmental sanitation management still needs the government to play a key role in improving infrastructures such as green supply chain for garbage dump, clean water tank, waste treatment facilities for residual waste, organic and inorganic waste as well as continuous socialization related to environmental sanitation management issues that can influence behavioral change and emerge high awareness from the community towards a healthier life in accordance with the objectives of sustainable development goals.

Abstract

Abstract— The essential mission of logistics and supply chain management is to efficiently plan, organize, and coordinate the movement of goods from a point of origin to a point of consumption. Analyzing and aligning supply chain goals with a patient-first approach enables healthcare organizations to reduce costs while improving patient outcomes. With Patient Direct, a care delivery solution from HRS, this paper provides patients with the telehealth equipment they need when they need it by telemedicine. Telemedicine which is used interchangeably with the term telehealth is the remote delivery of healthcare to patients through information and communication technology, including communication between two or more health professionals who are not in the same location. Thus, it needs secure transmission of medical data through text, sound, image, or video. This system can be a tele-education, tele-monitoring, tele-consultation, or tele-intervention. Telemedicine has several benefits, both for health professionals and medical institution as well as for the patients, especially for the development of healthcare delivery in remote area and also to make interaction between healthcare professional faster. However, telemedicine still has lack of regulation in Indonesia. There is still no regulation about license for the health professional and safety of medical data. Ethical problems in telemedicine are also still an issue, especially about patient’s confidentiality, and also it can weaken doctor-patients relationship. According code of ethics, a doctor must examine the patients first before making a diagnosis and treatment, which cannot be done with telemedicine. The lack of regulation and ethical consideration make telemedicine in Indonesia still has some problems and need a challenge for improvement.

Abstract

By reason of supply chain management difficulties of many firms from various industries in Thailand, it is crucial to comprehend which determining factor may tackle these difficulties. This research aims to study the effect of supply chain integration (SCI) on supply chain performance (SCP) by reflecting the mediation effects of supply chain collaboration (SCC) and logistics flexibility (LGF). The research design was based on the quantitative explanatory study. Using a confirmatory factor analysis, the study examined interactive dimensions of SCP, SCC, LGF, and SCI. The research model consisted of 4 latent variables assessing 13 observed variables. The only exogenous latent variable was SCI, whereas endogenous latent variables were SCC, LGF, and SCP. The stratified random sampling was used to select the questionnaire respondents. Data from a total 321 complete surveys were acquired from top managers working for auto-parts manufacturing companies in Thailand. The hypotheses were tested by using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results supported that SCI enabled auto-parts manufacturing firms to improve SCP successfully, and that SCC and LGF played an important role in mediating the effect of SCI on SCP. This research recommended that companies should consider strategies enhancing SCI, SCC, and LGF as they can increase their SCP.

Abstract

Abstract— The research objective is to identify the determinants of increasing the effectiveness of intern supervisors in implementing Cooperative supply chain and supervision techniques. Research methods, data collection techniques: interviews, questionnaires and observations. Data Analysis, qualitative data is transformed into quantitative data in the form of scale. Each variable is made into five categories based on a Likert scale. The average score scale used is a scale of five namely Strongly Disagree value weighting 1, Disagree weighting value 2, Enough weighting value 3, Agree weighting value 4, Strongly agree weighting value 5. Cooperative supervisor (Y) as a dependent variable: implementation of effective supervision supply chain management (Y1) and effective supervision techniques (Y2), while the independent variables: intern factors (F1) and extern factors (F2) of the cooperative's intern supervisors. Data were analyzed with the Structural Equation Model to find intern and extern factors of cooperative supervisors as a determinant of supervisor effectiveness. The finding of the research is the effectiveness of the cooperative's intern supervisors is determined by intern factors and the cooperative supervisor's extern factors, so that in the future it is necessary to carry out these factors.
