The history of the Journal Journal of Secretary and Business Administration (Henceforth JSAB) is established in June 2017. It is created as a medium for practitioners, lecturers, and researchers interested in studying the disciplines of secretary and business administration, both in theory and practice. It is published twice a year that is in February and August. Due to the technical issues, the first publication was in October 2017. Yet, for the upcoming publication, it will follow the regular schedule.

Abstract

This study entitled the analysis of the competency of candidates for secretaries in companies in Indonesia. The results showed that the competencies needed for a candidate for secretary is to have an attitude that has a value above the average. Because the secretary's job is 80% to communicate, serve stakeholders according to their level. Therefore all lecturers need to provide motivation, direction in each learning process regarding the importance of attitude. Institutions are expected to facilitate by creating a conducive environment so that students have the habit to behave and behave well in their daily activities. Lecturers in this case are expected to be an example for female students.

Abstract

Ojek Online is a motorbike based public transportation application. Gojek and Grab is the top ojek online in Indonesia. There are still many local startups in the ojek online business such as Ladyjek, Blu-jek, and Motorcycle taxi. They are unable to compete because their rates are less competitive. This is because the capital owned is not too big to do the "burning money" like other startups. A model is needed to analyze what factors affect passenger using ojek online services. So, we hope local startups can compete with their innovation based on needs from consumer which will be analyzed in this research. There have been several studies that have examined the behavior of users of public transportation services, both of conventional and online transportation, which is currently booming. However, the author has not found a detailed study observing what factors influence the behavior of ojek online’s users. Therefore, the authors develop a model that integrates variables which include overall service indicators not only the application but also overall aspects like the driver and usefulness of the services. In this study a set of questionnaire was distributed and used to measure the model and data taken as many as 200 samples. Partial Least Square is used to analyze the data that has been taken. The measurement results show the model has a predictive power that is good enough to measure customer loyalty from ojek online user and all hypotheses are accepted.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a previous observation result which show that customer satisfaction in using Pertamina's gas station services has been stagnant for the past several years. From these results, Pertamina created the latest gas station program namely "Pasti Prima" which is a concept with the aim of increasing customer’s satisfaction in using Pertamina's services and products. This study aims to determine the impact of Customer Satisfaction, Calculative Commitment, Corporate Image on Behavioral Loyalty through Attitudinal Loyalty as a Stepwise variable model. This research uses quantitative methods and uses descriptive and causal research types. We collect the data using questionnaires that we have distributed at certain SPBU Pasti Prima gas stations in Jakarta. We took the sample data using non-probability sampling method with incidental sampling type to 100 respondents. Then Descriptive Analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis are used as data analysis techniques. Before conducting PLS analysis, the data was transformed using the Statistical Interval Method (MSI) to convert ordinal data into intervals data. The results of this study indicate that Customer Satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on Attitudinal Loyalty, Calculative Commitment does not have a positive and significant impact on Attitudinal Loyalty, Corporate Image has a positive and significant impact on Attitudinal Loyalty, and Attitudinal Loyalty has a positive and significant impact on Behavioral Loyalty.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Borma is a retail business that is very popular with the people of Bandung. Proven by the interest of buying consumers in Borma that can be demonstrated by the number of increasing visitor numbers. There are several factors that affect the buying interest between store atmosphere, product assortment and buying interest. This research aims to determine the influence of store atmosphere, product assortment, and price in a partial and simultaneous interest in Borma Bandung City. The study uses quantitative descriptive research methods and multiple regression analyses. Sampling is done by non-probability sampling method, with the number of respondents in the study is a consumer who has been shopping directly in Borma Bandung City. With the number of respondents as many as 100 people meet the population criteria. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis known that the store atmosphere is in good category with a value of 79.73%, product assortment is in good category with a value of 79.80%, price is in good category with a value of 83.75% and buy interest are in good category with a value of 81.35%. Based on simultaneous hypothesis testing results, and partial store atmosphere, product assortment and price significantly influence the interest of buying in Borma of Bandung City. The coefficient of determination of the determination test shows an influential R Square value of 53.5% while the remaining 46.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. Partially obtained that the variable store atmosphere, product assortment, and price each has an effect of 10.2%, 13.2% and 30% against the interest of buying in Borma di City of Bandung. The advice in this research is Borma Bandung City should re-evaluate the unique criteria for store atmosphere, relationship between products in product assortment, pay attention to the quality of the supplier at the price and have an official account to Interest. Abstract

Usaha kecil dan menengah diakui memiliki peranan dalam perekonomian nasional. Meskipun demikian, usaha kecil dan menengah masih menghadapi permasalahan dalam memperoleh modal usahanya. Salah satu solusi untuk permasalahan modal tersebut adalah dengan mendapatkan pinjaman dana dari pihak eksternal melalui utang. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah untuk membuat keputusan pendanaan, diantaranya adalah faktor psikologi atau pandangan pribadi. Namun faktor psikologi tersebut mengandung unsur “bias”, yang diartikan sebagai kecenderungan untuk melakukan kesalahan (error). Akibatnya adalah pengambil keputusan memiliki kemungkinan untuk mengambil keputusan yang salah atau perkiraan yang melenceng. Bias mengakibatkan kesalahan prediksi karena dapat membuat orang salah dalam memperhitungkan risiko yang dapat terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh behavioral bias terhadap pengambilan keputusan pendanaan pada Usaha Kecil Menengah di Industri Sepatu Cibaduyut, Kota Bandung. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, dengan jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif verfikatif. Ukuran sampel sebanyak 117 pelaku usaha yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dan tehnik pengambilan sampelnya adalah sampel acak sederhana. Adapun tehnik analisis data yang digunakan dalam mengolah data penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda sedangkan hipotesis diuji dengan pengujian secara simultan dan parsial, dengan menggunakan Uji-F dan Uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa excessive optimism, overconfidence, confirmation bias dan illusion of control berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap pengambilan keputusan pendanaan pada Usaha kecil dan menengah di industry sepatu Cibaduyut, Kota Bandung. Namun secara parsial, yang berpengaruh secara positif terhadap pengambilan keputusan pendanaan adalah Excessive optimism, overconfidence dan illusion of control sedangkan confirmation bias berpengaruh negatif terhadap pengambilan keputusan pendanaan.

Abstract

In recent years, global warming has been the subject of controversy and has also changed the rhythm of conservation on Earth. Based on this phenomenon, it will have an impact on the increasing number of companies in Indonesia that carry "Green Company" program which aims to reduce energy use and factory waste. This research will find how environment concern influence on green trust for Nutrifood Green Companies and how the impact on their green purchase intention for the future consumption. So it is hope, based on the results of this study, corporate management of Nutrifood will focus on environment concern factors to provide environmentally friendly and increase their market share. If the customer is trusted with the performance of green product from a green company, then the customer will most likely be intent to purchase the green product. The research method used in this study was a quantitative method by descriptive-causal approach, with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique using SMART PLS 2.0 software. The sampling method used was the accidental sampling with 400 respondents. The study results showed that contribution of Environment Concern (X) totally influenced which directly affected on Green Trust (Y) was 64,82%. The remaining 35,18% was influenced by other factors that cannot be explained in this study. Meanwhile, the contribution of Environment Concern (X) and Green Trust (Y) simultenously influenced on that directly affected Green Purchase Intention (Z) was 66,58%. The remaining 33,42% was influenced by other factors that cannot be explained in this study.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan intial research yang berusaha menggali hasil studi terdahulu dibidang Financial Technology dengan menggunakan Systematic Mapping Study (SMS). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui topik Financial Technology apa saja yang di teliti. Penelitian ini metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan study pustaka. Penelusuran dilakukan pada scopus database sebanyak 43 artikel pada tahun publikasi 2016-2020 yang dipublikasikan dalam bentuk jurnal ilmiah yang masuk dalam kriteria inklusi. Hasil dari SMS ini dapat memberikan gambaran tentang peluang untuk eksplorasi topik-topik baru dalam Financial Technology atau mengeksploitasi topik yang sudah ada. Rekomendasi hasil studi Financial Technology dengan fokus penelitian . focus Actualization, Alternative Data, ArtificalI Intellegence, Bank, Bank Regulation, Blockchain, Cellular Payments, Corporate, Corporate Governance, Cross Border M&A, Crowdfunding, Customer Relationship, Financial Services, Fundraising, Location, Mobile Banking, Peer to Peer Lending, Technology, Technology Based Start Up. Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the digital era is driving changes in the way things work from manual to computerized. Changing the platform to computerization in administration is very helpful for companies, one of which is in cloud computing-based data storage through the use of the Dropbox application. The approved technology will provide benefits consisting of costs incurred, approved operational, and optimization of resources for the company. The purpose of this research is to study the process of implementing incoming mail and distributing mail using the Dropbox application and the benefits that come after distributing mail using the Dropdox application. The research method used is descriptive discussion. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews with branch unit secretaries, and literature studies from books, journals, and documents relating to the discussion of research. The results of the study show that research and distribution of incoming mails using Dropbox conducted by BPJS Employment Cimahi in the digital era is currently facilitating work processes and internal communication between employees and encouraging new goals for companies that can be used quickly.

Abstract

Kondisi masyarakat Indonesia sudah tidak mudah lagi untuk bersaing di abad 21 secara regional dan internasional memerlukan pendongkrak yang kuat melalui transformasi nilai karakteristik budaya organisasi sharing atau berbagi sebagai kearifan lokal yang sudah di reubonding dengan adanya penyesuaiain nilai-nilai yang pundamental berupa nilai-nilai baru yang adopsi dari pengaruh perubahan dua wilayah yang berbeda sehingga dapat dijadikan modal sosial berupa pola berpikir dan berperilaku bagi daerah perbatasan guna mengatasi berbagai persoalan ber-bangsa dan bernegara dalam Asia Futura Shock tahun 2020. Untuk bersaing di abad 21 secara regional dan internasional memerlukan pendongkrak yang kuat melalui transformasi nilai karakteristik budaya organisasi sharing atau berbagi berupa nilai-nilai baru yang adopsi dari pengaruh perubahan dua wilayah yang berbeda sehingga dapat dijadikan modal sosial berupa pola berpikir dan berperilaku bagi daerah per-batasan guna mengatasi berbagai persoalan berbangsa dan bernegara dalam Asia Futura Shock tahun 2020. Metologi dideskriptifkan terhadap nilai kearipan lokal se-bagai kolaborasi budaya lokal yang diterima lingkungan internal dan eksternal serta temuannya direkomendasikan kepada pembuat keputusan untuk bertindak praktis dalam menyelesaikan masalah. Pola pikir landasan berperilaku menggunakan kearifan lokal silih simbeuh merupakan karakteristik yang paling tepat dalam mengatasi kesenjangan ekonomi, budaya, pendidikan, sosial pada sebuah daerah perbatasan dengan jenis nilai karakteristik sharing; sama rukun dan gotong royong, sama setia dan bertahan-sama semangat juang tinggi, dengan sikap dan pola pikir; hubungan dengan “pengaman” dan pelaku usaha lain penggunaan budaya dagang Cina, hubungan pelaku usaha dengan sumber modal dan pemasok bahan baku guna mengatasi berbagai masalah di perbatasan.

Abstract

Employees are the main capital for company development. Company needs the best employee’s performance to advance and achieve their goals. To support this, many supporting factors such as leadership style, quality of work life and organizational citizenship behavior are needed to stimulate employees giving their optimum contributions by finalize their work effectively and efficiently. This study analyzes the effect of spiritual leadership style on the quality of work life, organizational citizenship behavior on employee’s performance. The data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to 100 employees of the Islamic Hospital in West Sumatra as research respondents. Path analysis is used as data analysis method in this study. The results of the study prove that: 1) the spiritual leadership style significantly influences the quality of work life, 2) the spiritual leadership style has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, 3) the quality of work life has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, 4) the spiritual leadership style significantly influences employee’s performance, 5) quality of work life has a significant effect on employee’s performance, 6) organizational citizenship behavior significantly influences employee’s performance. This study implicates that leaders or managers can enhance the role of spiritual leadership to improve the employee’s quality of work life and organizational citizenship behavior in institutions they lead. So that, the spiritual leadership will directly or maybe indirectly encourage employee performance improvement.
