Abstract

The abstract version of the English is written using the English version of the British in past tense and appropriate sentences. The result and conclusions are written in the form of the present tense. Abstracts are expected to be more communicative and not monotonous. A simple sentence is English contains a minimum of subject and predicate elements This study aims to analyze the application of sustainable economic principles and the role of the village government in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 8 in Kutuh Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The subjects involved the village head, BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprise) managers, local residents, and visitors. The findings indicate that the village government, through BUMDes Kutuh, manages various business units such as modern waste recycling, Pertashop, advertising boards, tourism villas, and multipurpose halls. These enterprises not only increase the village's original revenue (PAD) but also significantly absorb local labor. The BUMDes management strategy is based on inclusiveness and sustainability, adopting local values such as Tri Hita Karana. In addition to creating decent jobs, the village strives to ensure that economic development is participatory and long-term oriented. This study suggests that the success of Kutuh Village in developing a self-sustained rural economy can serve as a replicable model for other villages in Indonesia seeking to implement sustainable, locally driven economic development.

Abstract

This study explores the socio-economic disparities encountered by migrant traders in the tourist area of Kuta Beach, Bali. The inequality includes limited access to business spaces, lack of legal recognition, and exclusion from social assistance and formal protection. Using a qualitative approach and case study method, data were gathered through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that local traders benefit from privileged access to economic spaces, while migrant traders experience structural disadvantages that increase their financial burdens. Despite these challenges, migrant traders respond with adaptive economic strategies such as product innovation, business diversification, informal networking, and price flexibility. These actions reflect their economic agency within an unequal system. The study highlights the urgency of inclusive policy reforms and equitable spatial management to ensure social justice and economic resilience in tourism-driven communities.

Abstract

This study examined the impact of trader relocation on their income at Pasar Anyar Singaraja. The local government relocated traders from roadside areas to the second floor of the market building to organise the market area more effectively. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, direct observations, and documentation involving traders, customers, and market management. The results show that most traders experienced a significant decrease in income after moving to the upper floor. This decline was caused by fewer customers, a less strategic location, and inconvenient access. Many customers, especially elderly people and those with young children, were reluctant to go upstairs. The study concludes that relocation without careful planning and effective without careful planning and effective communication can harm small traders. Therefore, future relocations should involve traders, consider customer habits, and ensure adequate supporting facilities are provided.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze parenting patterns and the role of parents in supporting children's education from the perspective of informal economic education in the family environment. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation of 10 informants in Sukoanyar Village, Cerme District, Gresik Regency. The results of the study indicate that parenting patterns applied by parents vary greatly, ranging from democratic, authoritarian, permissive, to situational, with a tendency for democratic patterns to have a positive impact on children's economic independence and responsibility. The role of parents as role models and first educators in the family has proven crucial in instilling economic values through example, communication, and active involvement in household financial management. Data analysis using the NVivo 12 application strengthens the finding that informal economic education in the family shapes children's character and economic behavior in a sustainable manner. This study emphasizes the importance of active parental participation in informal economic education to build a foundation for financial literacy and a responsible attitude in children from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how students of the Economics Education Study Program at Surabaya State University manage their time to balance academic demands and the need for optimal sleep quality. The main focus of this study is to uncover strategies, challenges, and the impact of time management on students' academic well-being and sleep health. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with an ethnographic design. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 12 active students in semesters 4–6 and analyzed using NVivo 12 software. The analysis process was carried out using inductive coding techniques and visual modeling in the form of word clouds and treemaps to identify dominant themes in students' time management. The results show that words such as "study," "assignments," "time," "lectures," and "sleep" are the most frequently occurring themes in students' experiences. "Study" and "assignments" are the main burdens, while "sleep" shows concern for health issues. Students are aware of the importance of time management, but many still have difficulty balancing academic schedules and rest time. This study is intended for higher education institutions, especially academic supervisors and study program managers, to design more contextual time management interventions and training that are tailored to students' needs. In addition, student service units are also advised to strengthen psychosocial support and education regarding the importance of sleep quality.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of digital technology on innovation and personalization in learning through bibliometric analysis using the VOSviewer software. The methodology employed is a literature review based on a bibliometric approach, where data was obtained from Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application and further analyzed using VOSviewer. A total of 99 relevant articles from the period 2023 to 2025 were reviewed to identify topic trends, author collaboration patterns, and the frequency of key terms in academic literature. The analysis results show that terms such as “learning,” “technology,” and “personalization” are dominant themes divided into five main clusters based on thematic proximity. Through network visualization, overlays, and density, it is evident that the topics of innovation and personalization in digital technology-based learning are increasingly becoming the focus of academic research. Additionally, this study found that the use of digital technology can enhance the learning process, making it more creative, interactive, and adaptive, supported by platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Quizizz, and AI-based chatbots. These findings contribute as an intellectual map in digital education studies and as a critical reflection on the implementation of innovative technology-based learning

Abstract

The Indonesian government initiated the Food Estate programme as a national strategy to strengthen food security through large-scale agricultural production. However, this initiative raised concerns due to limited farmer involvement, environmental degradation, and unequal economic outcomes. This study aimed to examine the extent to which the programme aligns with the principles of a people-centred economy. It employed a qualitative descriptive method based on a systematic literature review of 15 accredited articles published between 2020 and 2025. The data were analysed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that farmer participation remains low and often symbolic. In most project areas, farmers are involved only in technical activities, without meaningful influence in planning or decision-making. The programme also causes serious ecological damage, including deforestation, peatland destruction, and declining water quality. In addition, economic benefits are unequally distributed. Large corporations receive the majority of the profits, while local farmers and cooperatives gain only minimal returns. This study concludes that the Food Estate programme does not fully support inclusive, fair, and sustainable development. Its success cannot be measured solely by production volume. It must also be evaluated based on how well it empowers local farmers, protects the environment, and promotes economic justice in rural communities.
