Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and family on students' interest in choosing an academic concentration. The focus of this research is on students of the Faculty of Economics at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, class of 2021, who have selected their study concentration. The research method used is quantitative, employing multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results indicate that motivation has a positive and significant influence on students' interest in choosing a concentration. Similarly, the role of the family also significantly affects students' academic decisions. Simultaneously, these two variables strongly influence students' interest in selecting a study path that aligns with their interests and career goals. These findings provide valuable insights for educational institutions to improve academic counseling strategies in helping students determine the most suitable concentration.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga perajin bambu di Desa Tigawasa, (2) pengaruh pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraam keluarga perajin bambu di Desa Tigawasa, (3) pengaruh pendapatan dan pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga perajin bambu di Desa Tigawasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu keluarga perajin bambu sebanyak 294 keluarga perajin bambu. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 75 keluarga perajin bambu. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner sedangkan analisisnya menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga secara parsial, kemudian terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga secara parsial,dan pendapatan dan pendidikan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the effect of service quality on purchasing decisions, (2) the effect of promotion on purchasing decisions, (3) the effect of service quality and promotion on purchasing decisions. The population in this study, namely all consumers who have purchased used motorcycles totaling 676 people. The sampling technique used was Proportional Random Sampling, with a sample size of 87 respondents. The data collection method used a questionnaire and was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Hypothesis testing was carried out partially using the t-test and simultaneously using the F-test processed with the help of the Statistical Package For The Social Science (SPSS) version 25 software. The results of the study showed that (1) service quality had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for used motorcycles at used motorcycle showrooms in Singaraja, (2) promotion had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for used motorcycles at used motorcycle showrooms in Singaraja, (3) service quality and promotion had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for used motorcycles at used motorcycle showrooms in Singaraja.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the effect of technology on the productivity of clove farmers in Desa Munduk Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng, (2) the effect of work motivation on the productivity of clove farmers in Desa Munduk Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng, (3) the effect of technology and work motivation on the productivity of clove farmers in Desa Munduk Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng. The population in this study were clove farmers in Desa Munduk Kecamatan Banjar Kabupaten Buleleng, especially land owners totaling 564 farmers. The sampling technique with a sample size of 122 farmers. The data collection method used a questionnaire and was analyzed using multiple liniear regression analysis. The result of the study showed that (1) there was a positive and significant effect of technology on the productivity of clove farmers partially, (2) there was a positive and significant effect of work motivation on the productivity of clove farmers partially, (3) technology and work motivation simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the productivity of clove farmers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reasons why women decide to work as porters, strategies for balancing dual roles, and the impact of working as porters on the economic life and family welfare of women porters in Badung Market. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews with five main informants, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show several factors that cause women to decide to work as porters, namely economic factors, flexible working hours, education, age, and proximity to the workplace. The strategy of women porters to balance their dual roles is carried out by dividing a balanced time between work at home and work in the market and dividing domestic duties with the family. This work has an impact on family economic life such as increasing family income to meet family economic needs.

Abstract

Student loyalty refers to a strong commitment upheld by students to continuously support the services they receive, even to the extent of influencing prospective students to also experience those services. Several factors can influence student loyalty, namely customer satisfaction, service quality, and the facilities and infrastructure provided by the school itself. Therefore, it is important for individuals to develop a high level of loyalty to the school they have chosen. Through such loyalty, individuals can help maintain the school’s reputation and contribute to better achievements, both on an individual and collective level.This study aims to analyse the influence of service quality and facilities on loyalty, mediated by satisfaction. The sampling method used was saturated sampling, whereby the entire population was taken as the sample, comprising 34 students. Data were collected through a questionnaire, and the data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modelling - Partial Least Squares).The findings indicate that service quality and facilities can influence loyalty through satisfaction. Therefore, improving service quality and providing adequate facilities and infrastructure are key factors in building student satisfaction, which in turn has a positive impact on loyalty.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim to analyze: (1) the influence of work discipline on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office, (2) the influence of work motivation on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office, and (3) the influence of both work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office. This research uses a quantitative causal approach. The population of this study consists of all employees at the Buleleng Sub-District Office, totaling 60 respondents. The sampling technique used is a saturated sampling method, with the sample comprising all 60 employees. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that (1) work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office, (2) work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office, and (3) both work discipline and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Buleleng Sub-District Office.

Abstract

High-income work opportunities abroad are a trend for most people, including women in Gianyar Regency in an effort to improve the family economy and life satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-esteem, social support, and socio-culture on the subjective well-being of female migrant workers in Gianyar Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression methods. The research sample amounted to 117 respondents selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that self-esteem, social support, and socio-culture had a positive and significant effect on the subjective well-being of female migrant workers. The self-esteem variable has the most dominant influence, followed by social support and socio-culture. Thus, increasing self-esteem which reflects self-confidence and appreciation of one's abilities as well as social support which includes emotional support from the surrounding environment can be an effective strategy in improving the subjective well-being of female migrant workers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) factors that influence the creative economy, and (2) sustainability strategies in the development of the creative economy in tourist villages in Buleleng Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study amounted to 48 respondents. The determination of the number of samples used the Purposive Sampling method, namely determining the sample with certain considerations. Primary data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires to the head of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and secondary data were obtained from related agencies such as the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office. The data obtained were then analyzed using the MICMAC and SMIC–Prob methods. The results of the study indicate that the quality of human resources, collaboration between business actors, and technology and infrastructure are key factors that greatly influence the sustainability of the creative economy. In this case, 6 scenarios have been distributed to analyze the best sustainable scenario. Scenario 1, namely the use of technology for marketing, is the best sustainable strategy because it has the highest probability of occurrence of 0.661 and the combination of "111111" with the highest probability of 0.459.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and demographic factors on investment decisions of employees of the Population and Civil Registration Service of Buleleng Regency. The approach used is quantitative with a sample size of 30 people selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Before the multiple linear regression analysis was carried out, classical assumption tests were first carried out such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests. The results of the study showed that: (1) Partially, financial literacy has no significant effect on investment decisions, (2) Partially, demographically, it has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, and (3) Simultaneously, financial literacy and demographics together have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. These findings indicate that demographic factors play an important role in driving investment decisions, as well as the importance of increasing financial literacy to support wiser investment decision-making in the future.
