Abstract

Material management plays an important role in the process of implementing construction projects because materials are the largest cost component in the process. Material management is carried out to support timeliness, quantity accuracy, and cost accuracy. One way to achieve timeliness, quality, and cost is by implementing good work productivity. Productivity becomes a measure in considering whether a project is carried out effectively or not. This study aims to determine what factors in material management affect the productivity of construction project work. The method used in this research is quantitative. Data analysis using multiple linear regression tests with the help of the SPSS 23.0 application. The results of this study obtained a multiple linear regression equation Y = (3.684) + 0.025X1 + 0.043X2 - 0.039X3 - 0.013X5 + 0.031X7. Where the material management factors that affect project work productivity in this study are material procurement planning and scheduling, project organization and personnel, purchasing materials according to planning, storage and warehouse, and control and supervision.

Abstract

Stone ash is a fine aggregate that passes through sieve no. 4 (diameter 4.75mm) but is retained on sieve no. 200 (0.075mm), thus making stone ash a waste that is useful as a mixture of construction building materials because stone ash can function as a fine aggregate as a substitute for sand in concrete mixtures. The purpose of this research is to find out whether stone ash can be a suitable and good material as a substitute for some of the fine aggregate (sand) in a normal concrete mixture or not, to find out the results of the compressive strength test of concrete by stone ash in a normal concrete mixture, and what percentage composition stone ash which produces optimal concrete compressive strength tests or according to plan. The test object used was a 150 × 300mm cylinder with a total of 36 samples. Stone ash waste with composition ratios of 15%, 25% and 35% has a fairly good bond as an added material to normal concrete mixtures as a substitute for fine aggregate and can even increase the compressive strength of concrete significantly. The composition of stone ash used as a mixture for fine aggregate is 15%, 25% and 35% with a planned concrete quality of 20 MPa and a concrete age of 7, 14 and 28 days. The compressive strength produced by normal concrete without a mixture of stone ash aged 7, 14, and 28 days produces concrete compressive strengths of 13.63 MPa, 19.57 MPa, and 20.53 MPa. Next, for concrete with a rock ash composition of 15% of fine aggregate with an age of 7, 14 and 28 days, the concrete compressive strength is 15.75 MPa, 18.02 MPa, 22.03 MPa. Concrete with a stone ash composition of 25% of fine aggregate with an age of 7.14 and 28 days produces a concrete compressive strength of 15.96 MPa, 19.02 MPa, 21.16 MPa. Concrete with a stone ash composition of 35% of fine aggregate with an age of 7, 14 and 28 days produces a concrete compressive strength of 23.49 MPa, 24.31 MPa, 24.95 MPa. From the research conducted, the 35% composition has the highest compressive strength value of concrete among the other compositions

Abstract

Low utility of public transport has reduced a lot of public transport passenger numbers and increased use of private modes travel for work, so public transport should be solution has turned into a burden for transportation systems increase the traffic volume due to urban. This study aims to produce models to predict the behavior mode choice valid and reliable, for design the operating model of a competitive public transport and climate policies support the existence of public transportation. To find a way for public transport back to the main mode transportation that are reliable and have a major high utility as well as to suppress the use of motorcycles and private cars. The main model has used was polynomial discrete choice mode by developing a single answer choices at Palangka Raya. The Results has received 2 different logit models. Based on logit models of type I, to up the uses public transport, can be done by pressing the ownership of private vehicles by restricting ownership 1 motorcycle and 1 car. The calculation of logit model II, increasing the use of public transport, can be done by speeding up public transport travel time and adjust travel times using private modes.

Abstract

Using egg tray waste as a fine aggregate substitute can be an alternative for making environmentally friendly concrete. The weaknesses of concrete with egg trays can corrected by adding a superplasticizer to both the compressive strength and split tensile strength of the concrete. This study used an egg tray waste as a fine aggregate substitution of 3% with variations in superplasticizer content. The test specimens were by a concrete cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm, which varied the superplasticizer content by 0%, 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2%, and 5% compared to normal concrete conditions. The test results show that concrete given a 3% egg tray waste as a substitute for fine aggregate has a lower split tensile strength value than normal concrete. Adding superplasticizer material can increase the value of split tensile strength up to 1% superplasticizer content. As the superplasticizer content increases, the value of the split tensile strength will again decrease.

Abstract

Climate conditions affect the water balance in an area. Bange Tango Regency is an area that is dominant with agricultural land, so it requires good irrigation to develop the potential of agricultural land, however meeting agricultural irrigation water needs is still difficult, especially entering the peak dry season in early August to mid-late October with average temperatures. -The highest average is above 32°C, even in October, with an average lowest temperature of 33°C with a low water vapor concentration even though it is influenced by the southeast wind which blows from the Australian Continent towards the Asian Continent which passes through the Sumbawa Island area and its surroundings. . This research was carried out to detect new water sources apart from the use of surface water sources such as river dam water, lakes and shallow wells (dig wells) in the context of land extensification to increase the usability of agricultural land in the dry season. This research is experimental for the detection of groundwater potential using the Schlumberger configuration resistivity geoelectric method with two sounding point distances of 200 m. The research results show that the aquifer layer in this area is sandstone with a resistivity value of 26.15 Ωm and at a depth of 48.56 to a depth of 54.77 MBMT, while the estimated optimum pumping discharge is ± 1.00 liters/second.

Abstract

The existence of one of the transportation infrastructure in Indonesia, namely the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road, can be traveled by one route through Soekarno-Hatta National Road with a distance of 114 km, while after the realization of the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road, it can be reached with a distance of 97.99 km with a travel time of only 1 hour 12 minutes and with a tariff of Rp. 146,500 for class 1 (one) vehicles through the Manggar toll gate to Mahkota Bridge 2 (PTJBS, 2021). With the addition of one traffic route from Balikpapan City to Samarinda City or vice versa, of course travelers can choose a travel route that can reduce distance. However, not all passengers choose the same route, many factors can influence the route choice by passengers. This research is conducted by interviewing route users and obtaining travel characteristics and route selection model with attributes of travel cost, and travel time. From the regression results, the travel cost utility equation Ujt - Ujn = 0.00002 (X1) - 3.2886 and the travel time utility equation Ujt - Ujn = 0.0876 (X2) - 2.9795. Both attributes produce a min (-) utility function model, which means that the smaller the difference in travel costs and times, the greater the potential for route users to move from Jl. Nasional to Jl. Tol.

Abstract

The issue concerning the retaining wall revolves around the potential risk of landslides triggered by soil displacement, primarily observed in the main drainage channel within Mendawai's trading district. Despite the installation of retaining walls along the channel, persistent issues have led to structural failure or even collapse. In response to this challenge, researchers aim to investigate the impact of retaining wall usage on slope stability in the construction project of drainage channels in Mendawai, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. This study will utilize manual calculation methods alongside analysis using geotechnical software, specifically Plaxis 8.6. Analysis of manual calculations reveals a significant discrepancy in safety factors. Manual calculations yield a slope stability value of 1.463 and a shear stability value of 0.834, both falling below the safety standard of 1.5. Meanwhile, Plaxis 8.6 analysis indicates a retaining wall bearing capacity value of 1.599, also below the safety standard set at 3. This indicates that the retaining wall experiences failure and fails to meet the anticipated safety standards.

Abstract

Increasing demand for affordable housing presents investment opportunities, but requires further research to understand the ability of lower-middle-class communities to afford such housing. The property business is identified as a crucial investment, especially with growing populations and increasingly scarce and expensive land over time. This indicates that the demand for new homes will continue to rise, especially in developing countries and large cities. Critical investment analysis was conducted to provide information to PT. Rahayu Charani Rosend regarding potential profits and risks. This research utilized the Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (IP), Payback Period (PP), and Break Even Point (BEP) methods. Data used included selling prices, housing price lists, and bank interest rates for the year 2023. The research results show an NPV of Rp13,146,894 > 0, an IP value of 4.806 > 1, a PP of 1 month 61 days, and a BEP at 11 units (BEP in Indonesian rupiah equivalent to Rp1,883,601,297). Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that this investment is viable because NPV > 0 and IP > 1.

Abstract

The principle of the unit hydrograph (HS) method is the direct runoff hydrograph due to effective rainfall, which remains at 1 mm/hour and is uniform across the entire catchment or river basin area, thus requiring verification for the use of the HS method and examining the relationship between catchment area and correction factor. This research uses the HSS Gama 1. The parameters investigated for HSS Gamma 1 are parameters in four catchment areas in Yogyakarta, namely DAS Progo, Sub-DAS Winongo, Sub-DAS Code, and Sub-DAS Ngrancah. The results of this study indicate that the larger the catchment area, the smaller the thickness of rainfall on HSS Gama 1. If the thickness of rainfall is less than 1 mm/hour, then hydrograph the HSS Gama 1 of correction below hydrograph the HSS Gama 1 of initial. There is a correlation between the catchment area and the correction factor, meaning that the larger the catchment area, the greater the correction factor in the HSS Gama 1 method with the logarithmic regression method and a correlation coefficient of 0.9958.

Abstract

As a mode of mass transportation, trains are one of the choices for people to travel. Safety and security of train travel are important factors in the implementation of railway transportation. One of the problems in railways is the low safety performance reflected by the high number of accidents. Machinists play an important role in the safety of railroad trave. The increasing number of schedules and trips as well as the lack of the number of machinists assigned to Divre II West Sumatra resulted in an increasingly dense schedule arrangement that affects the workload and mental burden felt by machinists and of course will also have an impact on the safety of the train journey itself. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on workload and mental load on machinists. This study aims to predicting the probability of train accidents in terms of factors affecting the level of fatigue, predicting the probability of train accidents in terms of factors affecting workload and mental load, analyzing the relationship between factors affecting workload and mental load felt by machinists in relation to train accidents. The method using modeling with a Bayesian Network Structure (SBN) using questionnaire data conducted on machinists in Divre II West Sumatera which is then analyzed using Gennie 2.2 Software to obtain the probability value of accidents that may occur to machinists based on the machinist classification level and finally find out what factors affect the workload and mental of machinists.
