Abstract

Biological, water is one of resource that has tremendous benefits for human life on earth, humans carry a higher quality of life by using water. During its development, the needs access to clean water is recognized and established as one of the basic human needs as a human right, but in fulfillment precisely sometimes show some things that are not satisfactory, as injustice control and access to clean water, where constraints such as weak economic level impact to the limited access to water, not to mention social inequality factor in the pace of development which sometimes puts the weak economy become marginalized communities to benefit the development, no doubt also the fulfillment of access to clean water as a basic need that will affect to the quality of life.

Abstract

PKL STEPULATION OF FREE STORE BORAKS AND FORMALIN TOWARDS HEALTHY AND HYGIENIC SUPERIOR PRODUCTS ABSTRACT The Community service is focused on getting healthy and hygienic food around the campus. In the early stages, the identification of food sold in street vendors around the campus, whether it contains borax and or formalin. If the results of identification are still found foods containing borax and or formalin, then counseling and guidance and given about alternative materials borax and or formalin, which is safe for health. 40 food samples were random taken from street vendors around the campus. The content of formalin and borax is analyzed qualitatively and quantitative using test equipment’s. The results showed that there were 3 food samples from street vendors serving meatballs and noodles containing formalin and 5 food samples from street vendors serving food containing borax.Keywords: borax, formalin, qualitative analysis. ABSTRAK Layanan Masyarakat difokuskan untuk mendapatkan makanan sehat dan higienis di sekitar kampus. Pada tahap awal, identifikasi makanan yang dijual oleh PKL di sekitar kampus, apakah mengandung boraks dan atau formalin. Jika hasil identifikasi masih ditemukan makanan yang mengandung boraks dan atau formalin, maka konseling dan bimbingan dan diberikan tentang bahan alternatif boraks dan atau formalin, yang aman untuk kesehatan. Sebanyak 40 sampel makanan diambil secara acak dari pedagang kaki lima di sekitar kampus. Kandungan formalin dan boraks dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat uji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada 3 sampel makanan dari pedagang kaki lima yang menyajikan bakso dan mie yang mengandung formalin dan 5 sampel makanan dari pedagang kaki lima yang menyajikan makanan yang mengandung boraks.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan pelaksanaan penyuluhan dan pemeriksaan kesehatan gratis yang dilakukan untuk masyarakat khususnya ibu-ibu yang tergabung dalam PKK RW 009, Kelurahan Kalisari, Jakarta Timur adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat melalui pemeriksaan kesehatan berupa cek gula darah dan tekanan darah. 2) Memberikan  motivasi   kepada   masyarakat  khususnya   para   lansia   tentang pentingnya kesadaran untuk melakukan pemeriksaan secara rutin, dan 3) Meningkatkan wawasan masyarakat terutama di bidang kesehatan melalui penyuluhan kesehatan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini melibatkan 2 mitra (sasaran) masyarakat, yaitu PKK RT 02 dan PKK RW 009, Kalisari. Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 4 jam untuk masing-masing mitra. Jumlah total peserta yang ikut adalah 52 orang. Hasil pemeriksaan tekanan darah, rerata tekanan darah dari peserta adalah normal, yaitu di angka 100/70 -140/100. Sedangkan rerata kadar gula darah sewaktu peserta juga normal yaitu < 180 mg/dL. Kata kunci : cek kesehatan gratis, cek kadar gula darah, tekanan darah.

Abstract

Waste management is an absolute must do in micro aspects such as village, NeighborAssociation, Citizens Association, and the domestic sphere. This management should bemanaged based on collaboration between the government, public/corporate and private.Waste provide their own assessment among people hence the need for waste managementmodel that is based on existing communities in the village to the central location. This paperis a reflection of the waste collection movement activities conducted in February to April2015 in the village of Babakan. The findings of this paper is waste is something of value thatcan be converted into income communities if managed properly. Regulation in the wasteneeds to be a legal basses in building mutual awareness. Community participation isabsolutely the subject of the development of waste so that the model CBSWM (CommunityBased Solid Waste Management) could be run well.

Abstract

Rendahnya produktivitas kambing perah di peternakan rakyat disebabkan karena tata kelola peternakan yang masih minim,dan belum masuknya teknologi dalam manajemen seperti teknologi pakan, reproduksi, dan teknologi hasil ternak. Desa Sukamanah memiliki potensi untuk pengembangan kambing perah karena didukung oleh luas lahan dan cuaca yang cocok untuk budidaya ternak perah dan ketersediaan tenaga kerja. Namun peternak di desa ini masih belum memahami bagaimana manajemen yang baik. Pelatihan dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan praktik langsung mengenai  manajemen budidaya kambing perah dan perbaikan kandang kambing perah telah dilakukan di desa Sukamanah.  Petani peternak antusias mengikuti kegiatan penyuluhan. Materi penyuluhan sebagian besar dapat dipahami karena mereka sudah terbiasa memelihara kambing perah dan memiliki keinginan untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan ketrampilan.Kata Kunci: kambing Peranakan Etawa, desa SukamanahEMPOWERMENT OF FARMER WOMEN GROUP THROUGH ENHANCEMENT OF MANAGEMENT SKILLS OF FARMERS  THROUGH TRAINING MANAGEMENT OF DAIRY GOATSLIVESTOCKThe low productivity of dairy goats in livestock farming is due to poor farming management and  lack of technology in management such as feed technology, reproduction, and technology of livestock products. The Sukamanah village has potential for the development of dairy goats as it is supported by land and weather areas suitable for dairy cultivation and labor availability. But the breeder farmer  in this village still do not understand how good  management in farming . Training in the form of counseling and direct practice on dairy goat farming management and improvement of dairy cages has been done in Sukamanah village. Farmer farmers enthusiastically follow the extension activities. Extension materials are largely understandable because they are used to nurturing dairy goats and have a desire to develop and improve skills.

Abstract

Posdaya Thematic Field Work Experience (KKN) is part of the learning activities undertaken by the students that aims to help empower people with emphasis on four aspects, namely education, health, environment, and the local economy. Through the program, the students may improve the quality of the family in building theirselves into a prosperous family, independent families, and families are able to face the challenges of the future better. As many as 160 students from seven faculties of Bogor Djuanda University the Posdaya Thematic KKN followed and implemented in District Ciawi and Megamendung for forty days, from 12 August to 20 September 2014. During this period, the students managed to establish 15 Posdaya and implement programs that include Education by providing tutoring, educational seminars, provision of libraries and the establishment of early childhood education. Health Sector perform Saturday Clean Program, Helping IHC Activity, Healthy Way, cultivation of Medicinal Plants. Economics training manufacture of food products, crafts, seminars manufacture Household Industrial Permit (IRT) and halal certification from MUI. Environmental Affairs held Agricultural Extension and Waste Management. Achievement of targets and outcomes of nearly 100 percent with the main obstacle is the lack of capital and lack of synergy between the public, private and local government.

Abstract

Real Working Lecture (KKN) is subject intrakurikuler held by all colleges require students tointeract with the community and the surrounding environment directly with the aim ofincreasing the capability and knowledge of students as a preparation to live in thecommunity after graduation. KKN also a form of real devotion to the community collegestudents, after getting the lecture material that can be useful in society itself. KKNimplementation is expected to help the environment and improve human resources topeople and students in the use and management of available resources. Independent KKNstudents to empower the villagers and village Mekarjaya Kabandungan by directing anddriving force to always do the activities of Islamic economics in terms of both worship andmuamalah. Development of Shariah-based economic activity is also seen the potential ofavailable resources both human and natural resources. Human resources mobilized anddirected to be more motivated to do things, which is based on sharia and natural resourcesprocessed and developed in order to provide benefit in the form of an increase in economicterms. Thus, the activities undertaken by the community will always be targeted and basedon sharia in terms of both physical and non-physical.

Abstract

Program Sosialisasi Pendidikan merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam rangka membantu pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor untuk meningkatkan Angka Harapan Lama Sekolah (HLS) anak-anak terhadap pendidikan formal. Kegiatan ini berbentuk serangkaian kegiatan yang terdiri dari sosialisasi minat belajar di PAUD, sosialisasi wajib belajar 12 tahun, pengadaan taman baca, dan kegiatan bimbingan belajar. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini antara lain (1)  meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap PAUD; (2) meningkatkan minat masyarakat terhadap pendidikan formal;  (3) meningkatkan literasi pengetahuan dengan membaca; dan (4) meningkatkan aktivitas peserta didik di bidang pendidikan. Ada beberapa langkah yang dilakukan untuk melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian ini, yaitu (1) analisis situasi, adalah kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data hasil observasi serta melakukan pemetaan permasalahan; (2) perancangan kegiatan, dilakukan setelah permasalahan diketahui dan dipetakan kemudian merumuskan solusi tepat yang akan diterapkan; dan (3) pengimplementasian kegiatan, dilakukan sesuai dengan rencana yang telah disusun. Sosialisasi ini memberikan dampak kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk motivasi pendidikan dan aktivitas pemberdayaan masyarakat.Kata kunci: program sosialisasi pendidikan, nilai harapan sekolah, pendidikan formal, pemberdayaan masyarakat. EDUCATION SOCIALISZATION PROGRAM FOR INCREASING THE EXPECTED YEARS OF SCHOOLING (EYS)ABSTRACTEducational Socialization Program is an activity of community service in order to help Bogor Regency government to increase Expected Years of Schooling (EYS) towards formal education. This activity is in the form of a series of activities consisting of socialization of learning interest in early childhood, 12-year compulsory socialization, procurement of reading park, and learning guidance activities. The purpose of this activity are (1) to increase public interest in early childhood; (2) to increase public interest in formal education; (3) to increase literacy of knowledge by reading; and (4) to increase the activity of learners in the field of education. There are several steps taken to carry out this devotional activity, they are (1) situation analysis, is the activities undertaken to collect data of observation and mapping problems; (2) the design of activities, carried out after the problems are identified and mapped and then formulate appropriate solutions to be applied; and (3) the implementation of activities, carried out in accordance with the plans that have been prepared. This socialization provides an impact to the community in the form of educational motivation and community empowerment activities.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the character of Independence Elementary School Students usinglearning models T-CAR (Think, Choose, Action, Reflect). This study was conducted in SD AmaliahCiawi. This model shows the stages of how to build the character of students independence thatconstituted with the application on the pattern of thought (think). The application of this mindsetinfluence the decision of the election (choose). So when the child has decided on his choice, he woulddo (action) what he chose. That would form a conclusion that something that he did have his ownimpact both positive and negative (reflect). This research used experimental research trialsconducted by 2 stages of testing and evaluation. The results of this trial demonstrate a significantdifference through T-test analysis techniques with the results of T count is greater than the T-table by4,85>2,06. From these results it can be concluded that the use of the model T-CAR can improve thecharacter of elementary school students independence. Therefore, the model T-CAR can be used asone of the strategies in teaching in schools to develop students independence.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) merupakan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dengan pendekatan lintas keilmuan dan sektoral pada waktu dan daerah tertentu, dengan tujuan memberikan beberapa aspek, diantaranya pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi, dan kesehatan. Melalui program KKN pemberdayaan masyarakat ini diharapkan mahasiswa bisa mengoptimalisasikan suatu keluarga dalam membangun kepribadiannya menjadi keluarga yang sejahtera, mandiri yang mampu menghadapi tantangan masa depan yang lebih baik. Di bidang pendidikan program telah berhasil dijalankan dengan mengadakan program SERULAGA (serunya belajar agama), Bimbingan belajar, seminar pendidikan, dan penyusunan rencana jangka panjang dalam menciptakan lembaga PKBM. Bidang sosial melakukan program kerjabakti, pendataan infrastruktur guna mendapatkan revitalisasi lingkungan, santunan anak yatim, dan program gebyar persatuan. Bidang ekonomi mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan produk makanan, kerajinan, dan pemberian merk pada usaha masyarakat setempat. Bidang kesehatan mengadakan seminar kesehatan, seminar sampah, dan pengecekan kesehatan gratis. Adanya kendala utama adalah anggaran dan kurangnya kebersamaan antara masyarakat setempat.Kata kunci: ekonomi, pendidikan, pengabdian masyarakat, sosial. COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT THROUGHT EDUCATION, RELIGION, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC, AND HEALTH ABSTRACTReal Work Lecture is a form of community service activity by students with scientific and sectoral approaches at certain times and regions, with providing benefits for the community in several aspects, including education, sosial, economic, and health. Through this community empowerment program, students are axpceted to optimize a family in building its personality into a prosperous, self-reliant family capable of facing better future challenges. In the Place of education In the successfully implemented by conducting Serulaga program (congenial religious learning), Tutoring, education seminars, and preparation of long-term plans in creating institutions PKBM. The sosial field conducts cooperative programs, data collection of infrastructure to obtain environmental revitalization, orphanage compensation, and the united program of unity. The place economics conducts training on the production of food products, handicrafts, and brand recognition to local businesses. The health field holds health seminars, trash seminars, and free health checks. The target achievement of almost with major constraints is the budget and teh less of togetherness between local communities.
