Abstract

Recognizing the limitations of their current, subjective evaluation system focused solely on delivery, XYZ Company seeks to implement a more standardized and comprehensive approach to supply chain performance measurement. This research aims to evaluate the performance of XYZ Company's Distribution Center (DC) supply chain using the well-established Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. SCOR provides a validated set of performance indicators, which will be further weighted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to reflect their relative importance to XYZ Company's specific goals. The Snorm De Boer method will then be employed to normalize the final score for each indicator.  A traffic light system will visually represent performance gaps, highlighting areas requiring immediate improvement. This research will analyze data from 27 key metrics across 2022 and 2023, providing a holistic picture of DC performance. While preliminary results indicate an overall "average" to "good" performance (69.54 and 70.08, respectively), further analysis will identify specific areas for improvement based on SCOR Best Practices. This research will ultimately propose practical solutions to enhance XYZ Company's overall supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

Indonesia's healthcare industry has expanded rapidly alongside population growth to 278 million by 2023, driving a notable increase in healthcare expenditure. Hospitals form the backbone of healthcare provision, Within the complex landscape of the healthcare industry, the hospital supply chain (HSC) is crucial for ensuring the timely delivery of medical resources. Partnerships may play a crucial role in improving an HSC’s overall performance. This study employs System Dynamics modeling to analyze the impact of supplier and government partnerships on HSC performance. The study extends the existing literature by incorporating both CLD and SFD methodologies to provide a more comprehensive analysis of the factors and intricacies within hospital supply chain partnerships. The findings indicate that high trust, IT integration, and hospital dynamic capabilities improve hospital supply chain performance through better information sharing and integration. Hospital demand significantly influences government regulations and control, further affecting performance. Theoretically, this study advances how dynamic interactions and feedback loops between multiple stakeholders within the HSC can be effectively modeled to gain insight and enhance healthcare supply chains.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted numerous inequities within the education system, underscoring school leaders' need for strategic adjustments to enhance teacher competence for adaptive and effective teaching. This study investigates how transformational leadership influences teachers' instructional and entrepreneurial behaviors in the context of pandemic-era education. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing a 44-item questionnaire distributed to teachers to assess principal leadership, entrepreneurial behavior, and instructional practices. Findings indicate that principal leadership does not directly impact teachers' instructional behavior; instead, it influences their entrepreneurial behavior, which mediates the relationship between transformational leadership and instructional behavior. This research provides insights into the role of transformational leadership among school principals at the preschool and elementary levels within the framework of online education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Future studies are encouraged to incorporate a broader range of literature, as transformational leadership holds relevance across various institutional, organizational, and business contexts.

Abstract

Ripple (XRP) is one of the most significant cryptocurrencies that attracts many traders to invest. Traders often look for information from the media as a reference for their trading management strategy. This research aims to utilize WhaleBot Alerts Telegram channel and Google Alerts as trading information media by looking for the relationship between whale transactions, news sentiment, and price returns. The researcher collected XRP whale transactions from the WhaleBot Alerts Telegram channel and XRP news from Google Alerts within a crypto winter period, from November 2021 to January 2023, and analyzed the data using descriptive statistical analysis. This research also follows several variables and formulas from previous studies. After analyzing 457 XRP whale transaction datasets, the researcher finds a significant relationship between the number of trading days and trading return on investment. The relationship shows that the more days, the greater the chance of profit. The other variables give reference patterns, such as the number of whale transactions, total whale transaction value, the most significant transaction value, and news topic. Finally, this research develops a simple XRP short-term trading model using the WhaleBot Alerts Telegram channel data and Google Alerts. In conclusion, trading initiated by XRP whale's transactions and XRP news could give a 76.53% chance of making a profit. Therefore, XRP traders can use the WhaleBot Alerts Telegram channel and Google Alerts as their trading information media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control, Subjective Norm (Theory of Planned Behavior), brand consciousness, and perceived risk on purchase intention. The sample used in this study consisted of 231 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Respondents who participated were those who belonged to Generation Z (1997-2012) and Generation Y (1981-1996), knew the Nike shoe brand, and had never bought a knock-off product (KW) of Nike shoes. Partial Least Square (SmartPLS) software version 4 was used for Partial Least Square (MGA-PLS) testing in addition to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study's findings indicate that attitude and perceived behavior control positively affect purchase intention, while subjective norm does not. Brand consciousness and perceived risk do not positively affect purchase intention, while perceived risk positively affects Attitude. This study is certainly expected to provide theoretical contributions to the Theory of Planned Behavior, Brand Consciousness, and Perceived Risk, whose relationship can affect a person's purchase intention on counterfeit shoes, and practical contributions can be useful for counterfeit shoe business actors in developing their businesses.

Abstract

The increasingly sophisticated development of technology gave rise to the term fintech in the financial aspect; the emergence of fintech brought challenges for users that affect financial behavior. This study seeks to analyze in more depth what factors can influence financial behavior using fintech variables, financial literacy, and age demographics. The leading theory presented is planned behavior, which is related to financial behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach by collecting primary data through observation and distributing questionnaires. Based on our study, a sample size of 100 individuals was selected by purposive sampling technique. The analysis employed path analysis with moderating effects, conducted through Smart-PLS 3 software. The results revealed a statistically significant influence of financial technology and financial literacy on financial behavior. Furthermore, financial technology exhibited a significant impact on financial literacy. Additionally, we found that financial literacy was a mediator in the relationship between financial technology and financial behavior, while age demographics did not moderate this association.

Abstract

Achieving sustainable employee performance improvement has remained a significant challenge in many contemporary organizations despite recognizing the implications of improved employee performance for organizational effectiveness.  Therefore, this study examined how organizational climate can be managed to enhance employees' performance, focusing on how each of the four dimensions of organizational climate (rewards management, management styles, organizational policies, and training and development) affect employees’ performance. A survey research design was used in the study. The study population comprised 593 employees, from whom 238 were purposively selected as respondents, and 238 copies of a structured questionnaire were administered to the participants. Of the number of copies administered of the questionnaire, 202 were returned and used for data analysis as they were correctly filled out. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics: frequency distribution and regression. The hypotheses were tested with multiple regression, and the findings revealed that rewards management and management styles significantly influenced employees’ performance. The study concluded that effective management of organizational climates, such as rewards management and management styles, improved employee performance. Thus, manufacturing companies should pay adequate attention to organizational climate to encourage improved employee performance.
