Abstract

This study aims to examine how applying the role-playing method can enhance speaking skills among elementary school students. The research method employed is a systematic literature review, which involves reviewing a variety of articles, journals, and literature related to the use of role-playing in language learning at the elementary school level. The research process started by defining the research problem, followed by searching for results from relevant journals for data analysis. Data collection was carried out online through platforms like Publish or Perish and Google Scholar. From this search, 10 articles were selected that were relevant to the topic. The gathered data was then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The findings indicate that the role-playing method is effective in improving students' speaking skills, increasing their confidence, and enhancing their xlearning outcomes.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in creating quality human resources, especially in mathematics learning which is often considered challenging. The development of relevant open devices is the main solution to improve the quality of learning. This article reviews the use of the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model in the development of mathematics teaching devices. This model offers a systematic and iterative framework for designing contextual and interactive learning. The study used the PRISMA framework for systematic observation of 32 articles published in 2014-2024, covering publication distribution, ADDIE implementation in various contexts, and global trends in teaching device development. The results show that ADDIE is widely applied, adjusted to local needs, such as technology integration in developed countries and minimal resource approaches in developing countries. This model has been shown to improve student learning outcomes, although challenges such as time and resource constraints remain. The study recommends optimizing ADDIE for student-based learning innovations.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the existence of the Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) as part of the legislative body plays an important role in strengthening the democratic process at the regional level. The DPRD functions as the people’s representative whose task is to voice the interests of the community in the process of formulating regional policies. This research aims to analyze the role of legislative members in improving the welfare of the people of Pandeglang district. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection carried out in this research was interviews and observations. The research results show that infrastructure development in Pandeglang Regency still needs to be improved so that it is evenly distributed across all sub-districts. With the vast area and diverse community needs, good infrastructure development will support mobility, economic distribution and community welfare, especially in the agricultural and logistics sectors. The regional government and DPRD have an important role in ensuring that development runs effectively and according to targets, so that the plan to improve infrastructure in 2025 is a strategic step to encourage economic growth and prosperity of the Pandeglang community as a whole. The DPRD has an important role as the people’s representative in fighting for the welfare of the people of Pandeglang Regency. Through legislative functions, council members are responsible for ensuring that the policies adopted truly bring benefits to society and pay attention to various existing social problems. Synergy between the DPRD and regional governments is the key to creating policies that are effective and oriented towards people’s welfare. With an evaluation-based approach and good cooperation between the legislature and the executive, it is hoped that development and community welfare in Pandeglang can continue to increase.

Abstract

In March 2020, all LQ45 stock indexes have experienced a significant decline. The decline in stock prices was influenced by unfavorable conditions such as Covid-19. Other factors that support the rise and fall of stock prices are supply and demand, dividend policy, financial performance, and company size. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between dividend policy and financial performance on stock prices moderated by company size. In this study, secondary data was taken from annual reports from LQ45 index companies and download from the website www.idx.co.id. The method in determining the sample used purposive sampling. The method used is multiple linear regression test with the help of E-views 12 software. The results of this study indicate that dividend policy and financial performance simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices, partially dividend policy does not have a significant effect on stock prices and financial performance has a significant effect on stock prices, while company size is able to moderate the effect of dividend policy and financial performance on stock prices.

Abstract

This research seeks to develop a civics learning model based on civic altruism in higher education to realize civic equality for disability, considering that the existence of disabilities is consistently discriminated against or marginalized due to the stereotype of ableism, which views disability as a disability, disgrace, burden, and useless, so it needs to be overcome through civics learning based on civic altruism, because it is holistic and integrative. This research is based on a qualitative approach, with grounded theory methods, namely problem formulation, relevant theory analysis, data collection, data analysis, and conclusion. Data analysis includes reduction, display, and verification. The time for the research is December 2023 to February 2024. Research results: 1) The development of a civics learning model based on civic altruism in higher education to realize civic equality for disability is holistic, inclusive, participatory, innovative, and humanist, because it contains the character of altruistic, which prioritizes the public interest and humanitarian action, including realizing disability civic equality, through the concept and practice of civics learning in higher education, as civic education and citizenship education, which is democratic and persistent against the stereotype of ableism, including mandating students and people with disabilities as learning subjects; 2) The civics learning model based on civic altruism to realize civic equality for disabilities through the practice of citizenship education contains service-learning and pentahelix collaboration, as a civic campaign or a real collaborative effort in realizing civic equality and civic empowerment of disabilities based on civic altruism, thus reflecting the character of students who are voluntary, humanist, and civilized. The novelty of the research, namely the completion of the development of a civics learning model based on civic altruism in higher education to realize civic equality for disabilities, because it has never been researched through any research, it becomes a new applied theory, including a new paradigm that is integrative and transformative through civics learning based on civic altruism, to overcome the stereotype of ableism, as a source of disability discrimination.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of taxes on the activities of companies or businesses. Taxes are financial levies made by the government from individuals and companies to fund public services and infrastructure. In a business context, taxes have a significant impact on a company's profitability and financial health. This study examines the importance of understanding tax regulations, tax planning, and tax management in maintaining the company's financial stability. The results show that companies that manage taxes well can improve cash flow, sustainable growth, and business continuity in a competitive market. The conclusion of this study is that taxes are not only a financial burden, but also a key factor in business success. Therefore, companies need to prioritize tax compliance, develop effective tax planning strategies, and consult with tax experts to optimize financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the variables of career motivation, quality motivation, knowledge motivation and perception of education costs on tax brevet specialization with career choice in taxation as an intervening variable. The type of research is quantitative research using primary data through questionnaires. The research population is s1 accounting students in semesters 6 and 8 at Tangerang City University.  The sampling technique used purposive sampling, with a sample of 100 respondents. The data analysis method uses partial least square using smartpls 3.0 software. The results of the study simultaneously career motivation, quality motivation, knowledge motivation and perception of education costs have an effect on tax brevet specialization. The results of the study were partially career motivation and knowledge motivation had a positive and significant effect on career choices in the field of taxation, while quality motivation and perception of education costs had no effect on career choices in the field of taxation then partially quality motivation, perception of education costs and career choices in the field of taxation had a positive and significant effect on the tax brevet specialization, while career motivation and knowledge motivation had no effect on the tax brevet specialization. The results of the mediation effect test showed that career choice in the field of taxation could mediate and strengthen career motivation and knowledge motivation for tax brevet specialization, and career choice in taxation could not mediate quality motivation and perception of education costs for tax brevet specialization.

Abstract

The phenomenon of promiscuity among teenagers is increasingly worrying along with the rapid development of digital technology. Unlimited access to information and the strong influence of social media have had a significant impact on the mindset and behavior of adolescents, especially in shaping lifestyles that deviate from social and moral norms. This article aims to examine educational approaches and parenting patterns in responding to the moral crisis experienced by adolescents due to involvement in promiscuity. Through descriptive qualitative methods, this article analyzes the impact of unsupervised use of social media, including exposure to negative content and public figures that adversely affect adolescents' values. The results of the analysis show that the role of parents has a significant contribution in shaping adolescents' moral resilience through open communication, providing emotional attention, and internalizing spiritual and ethical values. Parents not only function as caregivers, but also as educators and moral development agents who play an active role in assisting children's psychosocial development. Thus, family empowerment, especially in terms of strengthening the parenting function, is the main strategy in overcoming the negative impact of promiscuity and building a resilient and integrity adolescent character amid the increasingly complex challenges of the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of addiction to the online game Free Fire on the social behavior of children at SDN 1 Teluk Melano, Simpang Hilir District, Kayong Utara Regency. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that addiction to Free Fire significantly affects students' social behavior, including their communication skills, cooperation abilities, and emotional regulation. The study recommends active involvement from parents and teachers in limiting gaming time and providing alternative activities that support children's social development.

Abstract

Waste is a pressing global issue, especially in urban areas in Indonesia. Deli Serdang Regency faces serious challenges in waste management, especially from traditional markets that produce large amounts of organic and inorganic waste. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of a circular economy in market waste management through a case study of the Sahabat Mitra Waste Bank. The study was conducted through observation and interviews with waste bank administrators as well as market traders and visitors. The results showed that the Sahabat Mitra Waste Bank successfully managed an average of 1,200 kg of waste per month, producing products of economic value such as compost, liquid fertilizer, and maggot feed. Monthly income from waste management reached IDR 6,600,000, with an average customer income of IDR 62,857. This study shows that the circular economy approach has great potential in overcoming waste problems and creating sustainable economic and environmental benefits.
