Abstract

The digitalization process carried out by MSMEs still experiences several obstacles, including a lack of understanding and ability to digitize, resources and capital, so it is important to evaluate the quality of MSMEs' digitalization. Without evaluation, it will be difficult to measure the degree of digitalization. However, previous research has still minimally evaluated the maturity of digilization in Indonesia. In terms of digitalization, Bank Indonesia stated that Bali has a Fairly Good digitalization category. However, no evaluation research has been found on digitalization maturity in MSMEs in Bali. This research is a solution for measuring and evaluating DMM for MSMEs in Bali, especially Denpasar City, which produces models, methods and studies for measuring and evaluating DMM in other areas. This research used a simple random sampling technique which obtained 113 MSME respondents in Denpasar City. The data was processed using the K-Means Clustering Model. The results of this research showed that 80 MSMEs were in the emerging phase, 1 MSME was in the progressing phase, 1 MSME was in the established phase and 31 MSMEs were in the leading phase.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) are the backbone of economic development for every economy. They contribute to local economic development through household wealth creation, job creation, and poverty reduction. MSME in Indonesia are an important sector for the country's economy but often face unique challenges. Focusing on this specific context, this research provides insights tailored to the business environment in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to present a comprehensive analysis of MSME strategies in Indonesia, focusing on human resource competencies, product innovation, and MSME performance. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques, resulting in 83 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of this research prove that human resource competencies and product innovation can enhance MSME performance. These findings underline the importance of strategic decision-making in shaping MSME performance outcomes in Indonesia. Alignment between strategy and innovation plays a role in improving MSME performance. Strategies focusing on human resource competencies, product uniqueness, and quality require innovation to add value to products and customers. The novelty of this research considers the resource-based theory approach in the relationship between human resource competencies, product innovation, and MSME performance.

Abstract

During the reform era, regional autonomy has been implemented to develop each regency/city effectively and effi-ciently. The central government has delegated authority and given intergovernmental transfers to local governments to regulate and determine the priorities of their regional development. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of the trans-fer by increasing capital expenditure allocation often becomes controversial. In the recent 5 years, the percentage of capital expenditure realization is lower than that of the capital expenditure. In 2018, the average percentage of regional personnel expenditure in Indonesia was around 35.6%, while the capital expenditure was only 19.4% (DJPK, 2018). In 2022, the situation was getting worse because the personnel expenditure was allocated 62.5%, while the capital expenditure was only 15.8% (DJPK, 2022). Although the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 27 of 2013 has stated that each region should allocate its capital expenditure at least 30% from the APBD, but in reality there are still many regions that haven’t complied with this rule. In Riau, until 2021 there have been no regencies/cities that can fulfill the regulation. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of General Alloca-tion Fund (DAU), Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) and Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) on capital expenditure in regencies/cities of Riau in the period of 2018-2021. The analytical method applys multiple regression analysis based on Pooled Least Square model. The result reveals that capital expenditure is sig-nificantly and positively affected by DAK and PAD. Meanwhile, DBH and DAU have insignificant effect on capital expenditure of Riau in 2018-2021

Implementation of Aceh Qanun Number 11 of 2018 concerning Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS) also does not become an obstacle for digital banking, because digital banks do not require physical services to carry out their activities. Currently, more than 90% of digital banks in Indonesia use conventional systems. The movement in the development of digital banks has shown quite significant growth in Indonesia, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when demands for physical meetings were implemented. This research aims to look at the determinants of digital bank use among generations Y and Z Muslims in Banda Aceh City by analyzing the relationship between eight independent variables, namely economic value, ease of use, social influence, company reputation, promotion, features, curiosity and appreciation. The population in this research is all generations Y and Z Muslims in Banda Aceh City who have used digital banking services for at least 4 months. The sample used was 100 people using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale instrument, which was then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The research results show that all variables except the sales promotion and curiosity variable have a significant effect on the intention to use digital banking in the city of Banda Aceh.
