Abstract

Creative thinking skills aspect is essential to have so that someone could have good problem-solving skills to be able to compete in the working world and personal life in the future. This study aims to prove how effective the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is on students' creative thinking skills in Physics. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent control group design, using two classes as research samples selected through purposive sampling, namely as many as 18 students. The research instrument used an observation sheet and a written test consisting of five items that include the indicators of creative thinking skills. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in the creative thinking skills aspect between students who did learning using the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model and students who did learning through a scientific approach and the use of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model were in the fairly effective category to increase creative thinking skills, (2) the average score on the aspect of creative thinking skills in the experimental class is higher than the control class, (3) the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is significantly effective in increasing creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon shown by the weak value of the character of responsibility in the formation of a Pancasila student profile in students at SMAN 1 Benai. Based on a literature study conducted by researchers, habituation is a form of effort to strengthen character, especially the character of responsibility for the formation of Pancasila student profiles. Related to the above, researchers are interested in conducting research with the title the effect of habituation of the character values ​​of responsibility on the formation of Pancasila student profiles of SMAN 1 Benai students. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the habituation of the character values ​​of responsibility has a positive effect on the formation of a Pancasila student profile for class XI students of SMAN 1 Benai. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods, namely processing data in the form of numbers which are then drawn conclusions. The population in this study amounted to 180 students. Determination of the sample in this study using a sampling quota set at 20%. Thus the sample in this study amounted to 36 students. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the highest indicator was the habituation of getting used to throwing garbage in its place while the lowest indicator was the habituation of a culture of queuing when buying food. However, overall habituation of the character values ​​of responsibility has a positive and significant effect on the formation of students' Pancasila student profiles.

Abstract

This study aims to provide information regarding curriculum evaluation. The type of research used is library research. The results of the study show that curriculum evaluation plays an important role both in determining educational policies in general. as well as in decision making in the curriculum. Curriculum evaluation is the application of scientific procedures to collect valid and reliable data to make decisions about the current or implemented curriculum. The evaluation function is to improve a curriculum by providing assistance and giving an award. Several models in curriculum evaluation. namely: the provus discrepancy model, the contingency-congruence model, the CIPP model, the Kemmis Surrogate Experience model, the class action set model and the stake case study model. The instruments used in curriculum evaluation are in the form of tar and non-tests..

Abstract

An application is a computer program that is created to work on and carry out specific tasks from the user in which the application process requires memory to run. Memory usage in an application can be used as a vulnerability that can be exploited by attackers, one of which is buffer overflow. The problem that is often encountered when exploiting a buffer overflow vulnerability is finding out where the address of the buffer is and the exploitation process usually takes a long time. There are tools that can be used to help exploit buffer overflows, namely pwntools. In this research, buffer exploitation will be carried out using automation tools to prove the ease of carrying out this attack so that it can increase awareness for developers in improving security in the programs they make. The results of this study are that using pwntools can make it easier for attackers to carry out buffer overflow attacks

Abstract

Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic era was mostly carried out using digital devices and various applications such as Gadgets, Podcasts, Blogs, Videos and so on. Learning in the Covid-19 era is known as Online learning. The problem is, online learning has many pros and cons. This research aims to find out the students' experiences, how they interpret these experiences and the behaviors that are expressed both verbally and non-verbally. This study uses an interpretive paradigm with phenomenological methods, the theory used by Alfred Schutz's phenomenology. The research informants were undergraduate students at UPI YAI majoring in Communication Studies class of 2019 to 2022. The results of this research found that the experience of students while doing online learning had a positive tendency, where they were happy and liked learning for various reasons such as more effective time, cheaper costs, and more bravery. In line with their experience they interpret it as relaxed, interactive, and homi [family] learning, which is revealed from their behavior, no need for preparation and relaxed.

Abstract

Insurance is a mechanism for transferring the impact of a risk to another party. PT. XYZ is an insurance company based in Bandung and focuses on property insurance products. There is a problem where this company does not have an interactive data visualization that can show the company's performance. For this reason, researchers created a solution in the form of an interactive dashboard accompanied by forecasting using the Holt-Winters Triple Exponential Smoothing method to predict the number of registered policies in the future. The addition of secondary data from the website of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) to display the distribution of the types of natural disasters that occur. All data obtained has regional boundaries in West Java and ranges from 2016 to 2022. From the research that has been carried out, a dashboard has been produced that can display visualizations of the spread of disasters, visualization of graphs comparing the number of policies and claims, visualization of insurance renewal percentages, visualization of the top 5 occupations property, visualization of the top 5 property insurance products, KPI sales, and forecasting results with an indication of a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 20.22% which is indicated as feasible.

Abstract

The low use of learning models that are not varied and teachers tend to use conventional models. This research was conducted at SDN Genengmulyo 02, Juwana District, Pati Regency. Principals and homeroom teachers for Grade 2 and the learning outcomes of grade 2 students at SDN Genengmulyo 02 became the object of research. The purpose of this study was to apply the group work method to an energy source and examine whether its use improves learning performance in grade 2 students of Pati Regency, Juwana District, SDN Genengmulyo 02. The group work method can be interpreted as a teaching and learning format that focuses on the interaction between members with one another in a group, in order to complete learning tasks together. After the research was conducted, it was concluded that the selection of appropriate learning methods and models could improve student achievement outcomes. Based on the research findings, Class II teachers are encouraged to further develop relevant learning models regarding energy sources and their use

Abstract

Students need Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), the results of the analysis carried out by students are mastery of subject understanding. The learning atmosphere is not conducive and the lack of learning activities that support the ability to study material affects students' way of thinking, so that HOTS and student learning outcomes are not optimal, so the teacher wraps learning activities in inquiry-based learning. . This study used classroom action research which was carried out in two cycles with four main stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The research subjects were 10 grade 5 students at SDN Doropayung 01, Juwana District, Pati Regency, consisting of 9 boys and 1 girl. The collected data is processed through descriptive analysis. research result showed a change in student HOTS from 30% in Pre-cycle to 60% in Cycle I and 80% in Cycle II. For science learning outcomes, coping learning increased from 40% in the Pre-Cycle to 70% in Stage I and 90% in Level II. From these results it was concluded that inquiry-based learning was proven to be able to improve HOTS and student learning outcomes, especially fifth grade students at SDN Doropayung 01

Abstract

After three years running, the ERP implementation at PT Prisma Harapan did not produce results. Starting from these problems, it is significant to examine the effect of the accounting information system module (AIS or AIS) on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on profitability. Starting from this background, the purpose of this study is to analyze the application of the Accounting Information System (AIS) module in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); analyze the effect of Accounting Information System (AIS) on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); analyze the effect of Accounting Information System (AIS) on company profitability; analyze the influence of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on company profitability. Quantitative research approach, with survey method. The data processing technique uses SPSS. The results showed that ERP had a positive effect on profitability but not significant; ERP has a positive effect on SIA/AIS but not significant; SIA/AIS has a positive effect on profitability but not significant.

Abstract

The achievement of the vision and mission of an educational institution is strongly influenced by the teacher. As educators, teachers have a crucial role for the sustainability of a school as an education institution. Teachers' performance is used as a measure of the quality of the teaching and learning process. This study aims to examine the influence of the principal's leadership, work environment and employee engagement on teacher performance at SMA XYZ Palembang. This study used quantitative methods with 28 teachers as respondents. The technique of data collection is by using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and statistics analysis using SmartPLS Software with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result showed that the principal’s leadership factor, work environment and employee engagement had an effect on increasing teacher performance by 36.2% and the principal’s leadership factor and work environment had an effect on increasing employee engagement by 37.2%.
