Abstract

The formula for the most votes in determining the list of candidates who win seats in each constituency makes all candidates have the same opportunity to be elected. Therefore, it is not uncommon for elite political parties to be unable to compete with external candidates who are recruited just before the election. Political party elites who are not elected have the potential to commit fraud. With the party's infrastructure, the political party elites who are not elected have the potential to change vote acquisition. To anticipate this fraud, the KPU carried out Digital Engineering by implementing the Vote Counting Information System (Situng). Through Sitting, the results of the legislative candidates' votes will be published quickly to the public. That way, the public can participate in exercising control over the recapitulation stages of counting the votes acquired by political parties and their candidates. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data was obtained and processed to be used as material for conducting interviews with informants related to Sitting. The research location is at KPU Bandar Lampung City. The conclusion of this study is that the Open Proportional System with the most votes has resulted in the failure of a number of political party elites in Bandar Lampung City to sit in parliament. Digital engineering in the form of implementing Situng KPU is an anticipation of the potential for fraud committed by political party elites.

Abstract

The quality of the fruit is largely determined by the level of ripeness contained by the fruit itself. Until now, determining the level of fruit maturity is still done manually, as a result there are differences in perceptions in determining the level of fruit maturity. Therefore we need a system that is able to classify fruit maturity automatically. This research was conducted on 4 objects, namely apples, oranges, mangoes, and tomatoes. The training was conducted with split data with a presentation 70:20:10 based on 4 test scenarios, the data was converted to RGB to L * a * b first and some were not converted and were immediately trained using CNN VGG16 with the transfer learning method where fine tuning would be done on the layer block 5 and modification of the classification layer using the Multi-SVM classifier. The highest accurasi reach 92% at scenario 4 with 90 data per class.

Abstract

Science and Technology Parks (also known as technoparks) are centers for the efficient and effective sharing of knowledge and resources across various sectors of society, including business, academia, government, and the nonprofit sector. The purpose of this study is to answer the formulation of the problem, namely the Feasibility Study in Technopark Development in Toba Regency. The research method used is qualitative research. Using literature review studies by looking for secondary sources of information, such as previous research, data from affiliated organizations, local village records, and so on. The results of the study show that within 10 years, the NPV is IDR 679,597,945 with income increasing every year until the fifth year, because the NPV value is positive, the NPV is acceptable and the PP calculation itself is for 5.5 years. The conclusion obtained from the Technopark development in Toba Regency can be said to be feasible and with the existence of this Technopark it can be a breakthrough in business.

Abstract

Environmental science is one of the new fields of science. This science was born in response to changing environmental conditions that are increasingly concerning. Environmental science has been studied in various colleges in different parts of the world. As a new science, environmental science has different positions in universities with various statuses ranging from courses, majors, study programs, departments, faculties to schools. Studying environmental science will also be closely related to the concept of sustainable development. But this all needs to be explored and studied more deeply about its development and role. The purpose and objective of this study is to know, describe and analyze the development and role of environmental science through higher education and its contribution in developing the concept of sustainable development, especially in Indonesia. The method used in this research is through a desk study. The results of temporary research show that environmental science has developed along with and in accordance with global environmental conditions. Universities both in the world and in Indonesia have taught environmental science, even becoming one of the sciences that are in demand and developing today. In addition, environmental science has an important role in contributing its thoughts to Indonesia and the world and to achieve sustainable development

Abstract

This article aims to understand place branding through fashion street activities carried out by a group of young people to become the phenomenon, “Citayam Fashion Week,” which was unintentionally held in the Jakarta business district, and the benefits of Citayam Place Branding. It intends to understand Citayam branding through fashion street activities carried out by Citayam youth using semiotic brand analysis with a narrative approach to place branding through online media and social media. The findings in this article focus on the marketing of the Citayam brand. The Citayam Fashion Week activity, which was initially a youth association that created social media content with a fashion show activity on the highway, was able to bring a crowd not only from the residents of Citayam and Jakarta but all the surrounding cities. It spread to several other cities which held similar activities. In addition, this activity is also an opportunity for fashion entrepreneurs to introduce their brands. This study analyzes the place branding strategy and constructs it through viral fashion street activities on social and mass media.

Abstract

The development of the Kuala Kapuas Islamic College of Religion must be followed by management that is modern and oriented towards high performance. Performance measurement by considering financial and non-financial perspectives is known as the balanced scorecard developed by Kaplan and Norton. The balanced scorecard is a modern performance measure by considering four perspectives which are the translation of strategies and goals to be achieved in the long term. In this study the method used is a descriptive analysis method using primary and secondary data analysis. The results showed that the needs analysis of the design of performance measurement using the Balanced Scorecard at STAI Kuala Kapuas, begins with translating the vision, mission and goals and analyzing the situation and strategic position as the ideals of STAI Kuala Kapuas in the long term into activities in the short term, which then used as material for designing a performance measurement framework with the Balanced Scorecard at STAI Kuala Kapuas

Abstract

Zakat is one way to help people's economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic, especially people who are classified as less fortunate. Zakat management is expected to be ideal, therefore a good strategy is needed that reflects amil zakat institutions with scientific and technical capabilities to achieve their goals. This study aims to determine the management strategy in the management of zakat at Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang. The research method used is a qualitative method with an analytical tool, namely SWOT analysis (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). From the results of the organizational profile analysis and environmental analysis it is known that the strengths, weakness, opportunity, and threats. Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang. Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang has weaknesses such as the coverage of Muzakki is still too narrow, many people still don't know Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang, there is no systematic and digitally connected zakat management and human resources are still minimal so management and distribution are still not optimal. By maximizing strengths from the internal side and opportunities from the external side as well as utilizing the large potential of zakat, Baitul Maal Pupuk Kujang can become an institution that the community can trust.

Abstract

This article is entitled educational social interaction in online learning which aims to provide an overview to the wider community of the importance of social interaction, especially in the educational sphere when online learning is implemented in Islamic Religious Education, University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. The method used in the preparation of this article is descriptive qualitative with a purposive sampling approach based on certain criteria so that the data obtained is in accordance with the existing facts until it is known that when viewed from an educational perspective, the implementation of online learning reduces the educational function of students due to reduced interaction which results in on the learning quality of students such as lack of understanding of learning material, communication that can be interrupted because of the network, or more interested in online games than the learning material itself. And from a family perspective, online learning is able to strengthen the relationship between parents and children so that they can understand each other better because of the frequent interactions that occur.

Abstract

Background of this study were based on the problems that occured in several students at Mattayom 5 Darunsat Withaya. They were several students did not speak naturally. Then, they were rare to practice their English speaking at school. Also, they did not use the body language when speaking English in front of the class. In addition, they were also doing eye contact with their friends. Of course, they were lack of confidence, lack of vocabulary mastery. Regarding to the problems above, it can be understood that they faced the difficulties in speaking English. Therefore, this study aimed to find out the causes of difficulties in mastering English speaking at Mattayom 5 Darunsat Withaya Islamic School. Furthermore, this type of study was quantitative descriptive. The data was collected through questionnaire. The total population used is more than 140 students. Because there were 100 students who have problems speaking English. Unfortunately, only 70 students filled out the questionnaire during data collection so that the sample of this study amounted to 70 students. Moreover, there were 2 causes why the students were difficult in speaking English. They were linguistic factor such as vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation and psycholinguistic factor such as anxiety and shyness. In this result, vocabulary was dominant causes for students in speaking English. It can be seen that the highest of vocabulary factor was lack of vocabulary. It was 57% that they had lack of vocabulary.

Abstract

A sentence can be said to be a communication tool if it can convey an idea to the reader or listener. To achieve this goal, a sentence must be written effectively. Effective sentences are sentences that can clearly describe the purpose or idea to be conveyed to the reader or listener. Thus, the use of effective sentences is very helpful for readers or listeners so as not to misjudge the writing presented and the intention or idea is conveyed properly without re-reading or guessing the essence of a problem. The use of effective sentences is commonly found in argumentation essays. In news texts, there is a lot of ineffective use of sentences which results in the writer's ideas not being conveyed properly. From the brief description above, what will be the focus of the research is the use of effective sentences in the aspect of austerity in the news script of tribunNews.
