Abstract

Data obtained from dapodik as many as 934 high schools throughout Indonesia that provide education with dormitory services. The proliferation of boarding schools is inseparable from the quality of education provided by the school. Until today, there is no quality standard for boarding schools because each school has its own peculiarities / characteristics and is no exception at SMAN 2 Plus Panyabungan mandailing Natal regency, North Sumatra. In this study using qualitative descriptive method. Data collection using documentation and literature techniques. Data analysis goes through several stages, namely data reduction, display data, and conclusion/verification. The results of this study show that: 1) The mapping of the quality of education carried out by boarding schools varies greatly but still refers to the National Education Standards; 2) Making a quality improvement plan as outlined in the School Work Plan in accordance with the excellence of boarding schools; 3) Implementation of quality fulfillment both in school management and the learning process in boarding schools using the government curriculum and parenting curriculum; 4) Monitoring and evaluating the process of implementing quality fulfillment in terms of the characteristics of boarding schools; 5) Setting new standards and developing quality improvement strategies based on the results of monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Some students cheated or attempted to cheat during the exam. Cheating behavior in students during exams is caused by both internal and external factors. Self-efficacy is one of the internal factors that contribute to cheating behavior. The objective of this research was to: 1) to describe the self-efficacy of students at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. 2) to describe the behavior of students who cheat on exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. 3) to describe the relationship between self-efficacy and cheating behavior of students in the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki during exams. The descriptive correlational research method was used in this research. In this research, 236 students were chosen using the proportional stratified random sampling technique. A self-efficacy questionnaire with 28 items was used, as was a cheating behavior questionnaire on students during exams with 37 items. Descriptive analysis techniques and pearson product moment correlation techniques were used to process the research data. The research findings revealed that: 1) students at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki had low overall self-efficacy at 37.55%. 2) the percentage of students who cheated during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki was 34.18%. 3) There was a negative correlation direction and a moderate degree of relationship between self-efficacy and cheating behavior in students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki. A negative correlation had an inverse relationship, which means that the higher the self-efficacy, the lower the cheating behavior of students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki, and vice versa, the lower the self-efficacy, the higher the cheating behavior of students during exams at the SMA Negeri 1 Kecamatan Suliki.

Abstract

Problem solving ability is the process taken by a person to solve the problems he faces until the problem is no longer a problem for him. Sociology learning as an abstract learning is not enough to be delivered with theory and find answers, but it is necessary to have learning media and learning models that varied,. The media used is mind mapping. In addition to media, learning models are also needed in the learning process. The model used in learning is a two-stay two-stray cooperative learning model. The purpose of this is to determine the effect of the learning model used on students' problem solving abilities. The method used in this study is a quantitative method, with the results showing that the use of the two stay two stray cooperative learning model can improve students' problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Taxpayer compliance can be seen from how to fulfill tax obligations, namely by registering as a taxpayer, compliance in paying and paying tax owed and compliance in reporting and paying arrears. To increase taxpayer compliance, the Directorate General of Taxes seeks to optimize services by utilizing information and communication technology, namely by implementing an electronic filing or e-filing system. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of e-filing and internet understanding on individual taxpayer compliance for lecturers and staff at Widya Mandira Catholic University, Kupang. The method used is to distribute questionnaires through the Google form to lecturers and staff, with a total of 100 respondents. The results showed that the implementation of the e-filing application had no significant effect on individual taxpayer compliance at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang as seen from tcount < ttable with a significance value of 0.267 > 0.05. Furthermore, internet comprehension has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance as evidenced by tcount > ttable or 2.123 > 1.985 with a significance value of 0.036 <0.05.

Abstract

Several previous studies with the main problem of teacher performance in terms of infrastructure and work environment factors generally used regression analysis techniques, which only studied the direct effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. The novelty of this research is the development of instruments using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, namely developing constructs from performance variables, infrastructure and work environment, through theoretical validation through experts and empirical validation using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) techniques. Seeing the important role of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of infrastructure and work environment on teacher performance. This study used a quantitative approach using survey methods with the analytical techniques used, namely instrument development using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) measurement model, and multiple linear regression. The population in this study were high school teachers throughout Tangerang. Respondents were taken based on 20 schools in Tangerang and each school took several samples, and it was obtained as a whole that the sample obtained was 200 respondents. The result of this study is all independent variables has a positive and significant effect toward dependent variable.

Abstract

This research to explain the topic of managing and improving the learning quality of educators and education staff in an Islamic education institution management. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. The results of the research show that there are categories or stages in the management of education management and educational staff, namely; (1) Coaching and Development, (2) Promotion and Transfer, (3) Dismissal, (4) Compensation, and (5) Assessment. In improving the quality of learning, teachers as educators have a very important position and strategy in developing the potential of students. In the teacher is the glory and safety of the nation's future by instilling the basic values ​​of the ancestors as the ideals of National Education in forming a person who is physically and mentally prosperous. To increase the professionalism of educators in learning, it is improved through ways of attending upgrading, attending educational courses. conducting visits to other schools or comparative studies, increasing reading, establishing relationships with student guardians, increasing the use of methods, improving materials, as well as improving facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

MIS Al-Anwar Medan has implemented the 2013 curriculum trial and students' critical thinking habits when learning science are the emphasis of the 2013 curriculum. Getting used to thinking in a scientific approach is not easy, challenging, and requires preparation. This study aims to analyze students' critical thinking habits in science learning according to the 2013 curriculum which applies a scientific approach at MIS Al-Anwar Medan. The survey method was carried out at MIS Al-Anwar Medan in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The natural science topic being studied is Electrical Quantities. Data on the application of the scientific approach in science learning is collected by observation. The population of this study were all students of class VI MIS Al-Anwar Medan. Sampling was carried out by convenience sampling and class VI students of MIS Al-Anwar Medan as the research sample. Research data were analyzed descriptively.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the PBL model on student learning outcomes in science subjects, where students are less involved in learning, so students may become bored and not concentrate during teaching-centered learning. This type ofresearch uses a literature study which is seen from the results of previousresearch. This data collection was taken from the Google Scholar journal which was made by bothgeneral authors and student research. I took five Journals (Problem Based Learning) on science learning outcomes from 2016 to2021. From the findings of the Journals it can be concluded that there is asignificant effect of Problem Based Learning on learning outcomes where theeffect is at a vulnerable of 20% to a maximum of 77%.

Abstract

The results of initial observations in class IV at SDN Gunungpati 03 show that learning is less meaningful and student learning outcomes are not optimal. There were 17 students out of 27 students or 60% of their learning outcomes had not reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). The research objective was to improve student learning outcomes in Civics subjects using Concept Mapping learning strategies with learning CD media. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) by applying two cycles. The teacher has implemented a Concept Mapping learning strategy with learning CD media properly and optimally. The results of the students' formative tests showed that the learning completeness after the research was carried out increased by 42%, that is, from 40% to 82%. The conclusion from this study is that the use of Concept Mapping learning strategies with CD media can improve student learning outcomes in class.

Abstract

Student management is very much needed in educational institutions because students are both subjects and objects in the process of transforming knowledge and skills. Success in the implementation of education will depend heavily on the development of the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and psychological potential of students. Acceptance of students is a process of finding, determining, and attracting potential applicants who are able to become students in the educational institution (school) concerned. Furthermore, Mustari explained that student acceptance is a process of data collection and service to students who have just entered school, after they meet the requirements set by the school ahead of the new school year.
