Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of digital-based academic management in enhancing teacher professionalism and improving the quality of education in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Using a literature reviews method, the study analyzes references from academic journals, books, and credible online sources to understand the challenges and opportunities of digital academic supervision. Descriptive analysis is employed to synthesize findings and identify implications. The results highlight that digital academic supervision is a critical innovation for integrating technology into education. It enables administrators to train teaching staff, fostering professional development and ICT competence. However, challenges include inadequate knowledge of technology among school leaders, limited infrastructure in remote areas, and resource deficiencies. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, traditional supervision methods were dominant, requiring physical visits and manual observation. In contrast, the current digital approach is more efficient, enabling remote supervision and fostering professional collaboration through online platforms. Despite its potential, successful implementation requires robust infrastructure, ongoing training, and a supportive digital ecosystem. This study concludes that digital academic supervision is a transformative tool for addressing the demands of Industry 4.0, with significant implications for teacher development and educational quality improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive learning media with an economic basis and assess its validity and reliability. Using a developmental study approach or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE framework (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), the study focuses on designing and validating e-comic-based learning media for elementary students. Data collection methods included observations, interviews with teachers and principals, documentation, and triangulation. The analysis employed both qualitative and quantitative techniques using SPSS version 29.0. The findings reveal that the e-comic learning media and its usage guidebook are valid and reliable. The e-comic achieved an average validity score of 4.129 (84%) with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.96, reflecting high inter-rater agreement. Similarly, the guidebook scored an average validity of 3.72 (83%) with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.90, demonstrating excellent reliability. These tools address students' low interest in traditional learning methods by offering an engaging and accessible medium aligned with curriculum standards. The media fosters critical thinking, literacy, and problem-solving skills while reducing students' reliance on gadgets for non-educational purposes. his study highlights the potential of e-comic media as an innovative solution for enhancing elementary education. Further study is recommended to explore its adaptability to other subjects and its long-term effects on learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve teachers' skills in creating teaching media, enhance the quality of social studies learning, and boost students' learning outcomes by utilizing Book Creator as a teaching medium within the ADDIE framework. The R&D method was employed, guided by the ADDIE model. The media was validated by experts in material, language, and media design, and then implemented with sixth-grade students in a real classroom setting. Practicality and effectiveness were assessed using teacher and student feedback questionnaires. The findings demonstrated significant improvements in teachers' ability to design effective teaching materials, with high validation scores from experts. Social studies learning quality was enhanced through interactive features, fostering student engagement and critical thinking. Teachers and students rated the practicality of the teaching media highly, scoring 83% and 81%, respectively. Additionally, students' academic performance improved markedly, with average scores increasing from 68 ("sufficient") to 82 ("good"). The ADDIE framework enabled systematic development and iterative refinement, ensuring alignment with pedagogical goals. This study highlights the potential of combining structured instructional design models like ADDIE with innovative digital tools to improve educational outcomes. The studies provide a robust foundation for broader application in various subjects and educational contexts.

Abstract

This literature review examines the dynamics of leadership and decision-making in groups, focusing on how collective problem-solving and shared responsibility influence organizational success. Using a library research methodology, this study synthesizes secondary data from books, peer-reviewed journals, and credible library resources. The methodological steps included data collection, critical evaluation, thematic analysis, and synthesis to derive relevant findings. The findings reveal that decision-making is a structured process involving logical considerations, alternative options, and clear goals. Group interactions significantly impact decision-making dynamics by encouraging conformity to group norms and influencing individual behaviors. However, challenges such as prolonged discussions, conformity pressure, and task ambiguity can hinder effective group decision-making. Additionally, decision types general decisions based on principles, and specific decisions tailored to unique situations require a balance between strategic frameworks and adaptability. This study underscores the importance of evidence-based approaches to understanding the complexities of leadership and group decision-making. Effective decision-making demands a comprehensive grasp of theories, group dynamics, and contextual influences. These insights are instrumental in fostering successful collaboration and optimizing decision-making in dynamic organizational environments.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to analyze how OCB serves as a critical mediator between key workplace factors such as workload, work culture, motivation, job stress, social support, and employee performance. By systematically analyzing relevant texts, books, and peer-reviewed journals, this library-based study synthesizes extant theoretical frameworks and empirical findings to highlight the critical role of OCB. The results reveal that job satisfaction, competence, and leadership are key determinants shaping employees’ willingness to exhibit extra-role behaviors that benefit the organization as a whole. In turn, employees who perceive fairness, autonomy, and opportunities for skill development are more likely to take on additional responsibilities and demonstrate a strong commitment to organizational success. The discussion underscores that strategic interventions aimed at enhancing job satisfaction, building competencies through continuous learning, and cultivating effective leadership styles can enhance OCB, thereby mediating the influences of workload, culture, motivation, stress, and social support on performance outcomes. The review concludes that OCB acts as a vital catalyst for boosting overall organizational performance by bridging critical gaps between individual attitudes and broader institutional goals. Ultimately, OCB fosters a collaborative climate that promotes agility and innovation.
