Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explain the perceptions of the final year students of FKIP UMPRI towards Muhammadiyah and as a material for evaluating the advancement of Muhammadiyah cadre education methods within the university scope. This analysis is categorized as a descriptive study with a survey method. The research subjects during this study were all final year students in the 2019-2020 academic years from five study programs in FKIP UMPRI. The data analysis technique in this study was the following subsequent steps: (1) determining the score; (2) confirming the category; (3) creating the evaluation results using the program Excel Microsoft 2010. The results of this study are the perceptions of UMPRI final year students towards Muhammadiyah at the amount of antipathy to Muhammadiyah by 7%, the level of neutrality towards Muhammadiyah by 38%, the level of sympathy for Muhammadiyah by 35%, and also the level of Muhammadiyah cadres by 20%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan persepsi mahasiswa tingkat akhir FKIP (Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan) UMPRI (Universitas Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Lampung) terhadap Muhammadiyah dan sebagai bahan evaluasi kemajuan metode pendidikan kader Muhammadiyah di lingkungan universitas. Analisis penelitian ini metode deskriptif dengan metode survei, subjek penelitian selama penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa tingkat akhir tahun akademik 2019-2020 dari lima prodi di FKIP UMPRI. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini: (1) menentukan skor; (2) mengkonfirmasikan kategori; (3) Membuat hasil evaluasi dengan menggunakan program Excel Microsoft 2010. Hasil penelitian ini adalah persepsi mahasiswa tahun akhir UMPRI terhadap Muhammadiyah yaitu tingkat antipati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 7%, tingkat netralitas terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 38%, tingkat simpati terhadap Muhammadiyah sebesar 35%, demikian pula tingkat kader Muhammadiyah sebesar 20%.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the value of character and philosophy of life of the founder of Muhammadiyah (KH. Ahmad Dahlan). The research method used is library research. The primary data source is the philosophy of the teachings of KH. Ahmad Dahlan, and the secondary sources are other books that are relevant and relevant to the research. Analysis of the data used in this study is the Content analysis method. The author's findings relate to the question that KH. Ahmad Dahlan bequeathed seven philosophies and his messages, in which teaches to be a visionary human being able to think ahead that is to be happy in the world and the hereafter. Character Value is exemplified by him, namely the value of religious character, honesty, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, valuing achievement, friendly or communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading social care and responsibility. The character education of KH. Ahmad Dahlan can support government character education so that it becomes an active character education.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai karakter dan falsafah hidup pendiri Muhammadiyah (KH. Ahmad Dahlan). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Sumber data primer adalah falsafah ajaran KH. Ahmad Dahlan, sumber sekundernya adalah buku-buku lain yang bersangkutan dan relevan dengan penelitian. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode content analysis. Temuan penulis berkaitan dengan pertanyaan yang ada bahwa KH. Ahmad Dahlan mewariskan tujuh falsafah dan pesan-pesan beliau, yang di dalamnya mengajarkan supaya menjadi manusia yang visioner mampu untuk berfikir kedepan yaitu supaya dapat bahagia dunia dan akherat. Nilai Karakter yang dicontohkan oleh beliau yakni nilai karakter religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat atau komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli sosial, dan tanggungjawab. Adapun pendidikan karakter KH. Ahmad Dahlan dapat mendukung pendidikan karakter pemerintah sehingga menjadi pendidikan karakter yang efektif.

Abstract

Various components influence quality religious education. One of the dominant ones is the teacher. Learning will be of high quality if the teacher is competent and professional. The professional development of teachers is a stage in strengthening skills, competencies, and career advancement, which leads to an increase in the quality of learning being taught. This research uses a literature study method. Sources of data obtained through references and other reading sources related to teacher professionalism, the results showed that the problem of teacher professionalism originated from three components, namely self-development, scientific publications, and innovative work. Quality improvement is more dominantly influenced by teacher professionalism, where teachers are required to achieve predetermined qualifications. by meeting adequate qualifications, the teacher's position will automatically increase. Professional development is related to advancing knowledge and skills by considering attitudes and approaches to improving the quality of learning. It is a process of growing teacher professionalism in strengthening the skills, duties and careers of teachers in facing the changes that occur.Pendidikan agama yang bermutu dipengaruhi oleh berbagai komponen. Salah satunya yang dominan adalah guru. Pembelajaran akan bermutu, apabila gurunya kompeten dan profesional. Pengembangan profesionalitas guru merupakan tahapan dalam penguatan keahlian, kompetensi, dan peningkatan karir yang berujung pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran yang diampu. Riset ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan, sumber data diperoleh melalui referensi dan sumber bacaan lain yang berkaitan dengan profesionalisme guru.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masalah profesioalisme guru berawal dari tiga komponen, yaitu pengembangan diri, publikasi ilmiah, dan karya inovatif. Peningkatan kualitas lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh profesionalisme guru, dimana guru dituntut untuk mencapai kualifikasi yang telah ditetapkan. dengan memenuhi kualifikasi yang memadai maka posisi guru akan secara otomatis meningkat. Pengembangan profesionalisme terkait dengan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dengan mempertimbangkan sikap dan pendekatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Merupakan proses peningkatan profesionalisme guru dalam memperkuat keterampilan, tugas dan karir guru dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi.

Abstract

Religious literacy is essential because understanding religious doctrine is about the normative principle and how religion applies in a social context. Religious literacy can develop through the learning process. This study analyzes student religious literacy by learning Islamic Religious Education (IRE) based on the flipped classroom. The research method used is classroom action research through two cycles. The research subjects were students who took the general course of Islamic Religious Education. The results showed that applying flipped classrooms in Islamic Religious Education learning could increase student diversity in belief, practice dimensions, knowledge dimensions, and implementation dimensions. The implementation of Islamic learning based on flipped classroom can also improve student learning activities. Students pay attention to learning carefully, actively participate in discussions, actively ask questions, provide opinions, and perform assigned tasks. Besides that, the implementation of a flipped classroom can also improve student learning outcomes.Literasi keberagamaan penting dimiliki karena memahami ajaran agama bukan hanya sebatas pada doktrin normatifnya saja, melainkan juga pada bagaimana agama diterapkan dalam konteks sosial. Literasi keberagamaan dapat dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah classroom action research dengan melalui dua siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah umum Pendidikan Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan flipped classroom dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dapat meningkatkan literasi keberagamaan mahasiswa pada dimensi keyakinan, dimensi praktik, dimensi pengetahuan, dan dimensi pengamalan. Penerapan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam berbasis flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran mahasiswa, mahasiswa memperhatikan pembelajaran secara seksama, aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi, aktif mengajukan pertanyaan dan memberikan pendapat, serta mengerjakan tugas-tugas yang telah diberikan. Di samping itu, penerapan flipped classroom juga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This article describes the management of a culture of religious tolerance in multicultural-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. Indonesia has much diversity, including ethnic diversity, culture, race, customs, religion, language, etc. In the world of education, especially in public schools or public schools, it is inevitable that students or school residents come from various regions and have different diversity, including religion. Students from diverse backgrounds can cause a sense of insecurity for minority students. This situation requires educators to provide religious education that teaches tolerance to students with different religions, races and cultures. Thus This manuscript study explores multiculturalism. This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach, the type of case study. Therefore, in this article, we will discuss the management of a culture of religious tolerance in multicultural-based PAI learning in public schools. The results of this study indicate that through the direction of a culture of religious tolerance in multicultural-based PAI learning that puts forward an ideology that understands, respects, and values human dignity wherever they are. Wherever they come from, emphasizing material from the Qur'an Surat al-hujarat Paragraph 13 can form students who have an attitude of religious tolerance and human values that can create harmony and harmonious relations between students of the same religion or different religions.Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang manajemen budaya toleransi beragama dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang berbasis multikultural. Indonesia memiliki banyak keragaman diantaranya keragaman suku, budaya, ras, adat, agama, bahasa, dan lain sebagainya. Pada dunia pendidikan terutama dalam sekolah negeri atau sekolah umum tidak bisa dihindari bahwa peserta didik atau warga sekolah tersebut berasal dari berbagai daerah dan memiliki keragaman yang berbeda, termasuk agama. Keadaan peserta didik dari latar belakang yang beraneka ragam ini dapat menimbulkan rasa tidak percaya diri bagi peserta didik yang minoritas, keadaan ini mengharuskan pendidik untuk memberikan pendidikan agama yang mengajarkan toleransi terhadap peserta didik dengan agama, ras, dan budaya yang berbeda-beda, dengan demikian kajian naskah ini mengupas tentang multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif melalui pendekatan kualitatif, jenis studi kasus. Oleh karena itu, pada artikel ini akan dibahas tentang manajemen budaya toleransi beragama pada pembelajaran PAI berbasis multikultural di sekolah negeri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa melalui manajemen budaya toleransi beragama pada pembelajaran PAI berbasis multikultural yang mengedepankan ideologi  yang  memahami,  menghormati,  dan  menghargai  harkat  dan  martabat  manusia  di manapun  dia  berada  dan  dari  manapun  datangnya dengan penekanan materi dari al-qur'an surat al-hujarat ayat 13 dapat membentuk peserta didik yang memiliki sikap toleransi beragama dan nilai-nilai kemanusiaan yang dapat menciptakan kerukunan dan keharmonisan hubungan antara peserta didik yang seagama maupun beda agama.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the issue of the relationship between Islam and politics in the “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama. this study was motivated by “Action to Defend Islam 212”. Therefor in this first study, the author wants to give about the study of background the formation of “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama. second, critical review about the relationship between Islam and politics of “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama. the purpose of this problem has been to trying flowin is ini and critiquing “is there the relationship between Islam and politics of “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama ?”. Approsch and method in this research use social religion approach is needed and Qualitative method that is the descriptive analysis with library research genre. The result from this research indicates that analysis and critical review about the relationship between Islam and politics of “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama is that be found relationship from side religion and politics, considering that there are a number of factors that indicate “Alumni 212 and Ijtima Ulama contains elements of politics and religion in it. The Defending Islam Action I,II AND III has become a new phenomenon in Islam, especially for the conditions of religious life in Indonesia. Which then this action becomes the background of the formation of the reunion “Alumni 212” and Ijtima Ulama, it is feared indicated incarnated as a religious movement mass, and could potentially be a movement on behalf of Islam as a form of identity politics. Nevertheless need the existence of functional relationship in the relationship between Islam and state (politics), that is about how Islam can perform its functions in the region or community of the state on the one hand. And how the state (politic) can the state can perform its functions as the governing body of the organization of the citizens and its territory is majority Islam on the other hand.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine in depth the problems of this research, namely: (1) the pattern of character values education of students based on ISMUBA values at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambannglipuro Bantul during the covid 19 pandemic; (2) the impact of education on student character values based on ISMUBA values of the transformation of student character values in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambannglipuro Bantul during the covid 19 pandemic era.This research is a qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach, and the informants needed in this study include: (1) the Principal of the School I person; (2) Deputy Principal for student affairs 1 person; (3) ISMUBA teachers 3 people; (4) 5 students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambang Lipura Bantul Yogyakarta; and (4) 1 Educational Personnel.Researchers of this study used qualitative data analysis with simultaneous data collection, interpretation of data and conclusions that had been obtained were continuously strengthened and verified until the end of the study in order to answer the problems in this study.The result of this study shows that after students received the pattern of character values education based on ISMUBA values of the Covid 19 pandemic era is useful for increasing the students' character values, namely: having faith, integrity, having resilience and being beneficial to oneself, family and others. Tujuan penelitian ini, adalah untuk mengkaji secara mendalam terhadap permasalahan dalam penelitian ini, yakni: (1) pola pendidikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa berbasis nilai-nilai  ISMUBA di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambannglipuro Bantul pada masa pandemi covid 19;  (2)  tantangan dan manfaat pendidikan nilai-nilai karakter siswa berbasis nilai-nilai ISMUBA terhadap transformasi nilai-nilai karakter Peserta Didik di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Bambannglipuro Bantul pada masa pandemi covid 19.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif, dan informan yang diperlukan, dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Kepala Sekolah Sekolah I orang; (2) Wakil Kepala Sekolah bidang kesiswaan 1 orang; (3) Guru ISMUBA 3 orang; (4) Siswa SMK Muhammadiyah  1 Bambang Lipura Bantul Yogyakarta sebanyak 5 orang; dan (4) Karyawan/Tenaga Kependidikan 1 orang.Peneliti dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisa data bersifat kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data secara serempak, interpretasi data dan simpulan-simpulan yang telah diperoleh diperkuat secara terus-menerus dan diverifikasi sampai dengan akhir penelitian guna menjawab permasalahan dalam penelitian ini.Hasil dari peneltian ini, menunjukkan bahwa setelah siswa menerima pola Pendidikan Nilai-nilai karakter berbasis nilai-nilai ISMUBA pada era pandemi Covid 19 bermanfaat terhadap peningkatan nilai-nilai karakter siswa, yakni: beriman, berintegritas, memiliki daya lenting (resiliensi) dan bermanfaat terhadap diri sendiri, keluarga dan orang lain

Abstract

Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab created a da'wah movement to purify Islamic doctrines. With this movement, he invited all Muslims to return to the Qur'an and Sunnah by the understanding of the Sahabah. This research is qualitative, using an analytical descriptive method and a normative juridical approach. This study aims to find out who Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab was, how his doctrines, epistemology, and thoughts were in Islamic law, and how the term "Wahhabi" developed. and the results, Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab was a very influential scholar in Saudi Arabia, especially in da'wah and Islamic law. Until now, his doctrines and thoughts have spread to various countries including Indonesia. He came from the tripe of sahabah who one of the beloved sahabah's of the messenger. His full name is Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab bin Sulaiman bin 'Ali bin Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Rashid Al Wuhaibi At Tamimi. In the field of Islamic law, especially in the chapter on worshiping Allah, according to him, Islamic law can only be implemented and obeyed if there is a clear legal basis from the Qur'an and Sunnah by the understanding of the Companions. The term "Wahhabi" was assigned to him and his followers because of the similarity in his method of preaching with the real Wahhabi, Abdul Wahhab bin Abdurrahman bin Rustum, a Khowarij Ibadhiyah figure who lived in Morocco.

Abstract

The philanthropic movement aims to increase student knowledge and involvement in allocating funds to support social activism. At the time of the Covid-19 outbreak, philanthropy-based da'wah was a common form of da'wah carried out by students with the Muhammadiyah Covid-19 command center. This means that students and the Muhammadiyah Covid-19 Command Center "MCCC" were involved in dealing with the Covid-19 epidemic and have continued to do so. Using qualitative research, this study was conducted in 2020-2021 with the goal of describing and narrating the student philanthropy movement in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. The data gathering method was "triangulation," which included observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation. Researchers used the approach of "persistent observation" to apply the data analysis process. The philanthropic movement seeks Muhammadiyah students' participation in propagating diverse da'wah material based on the philanthropic movement, which encompasses advocacy, donating, and service. During the extensive covid-19 pandemic, the surrounding community can learn about the charitable activity carried out by students in partnership with the Muhammadiyah Covid-19 Command Center. As a result, a network is developed to raise public awareness about COVID-19 and to assist in its management through the Philanthropy Movement. As a result, the Muhammadiyah student volunteers' movement in partnership with the Muhammadiyah Covid-19 Command Center is extremely forward-thinking. Social activities for Muhammadiyah students are easier in current times, therefore fundraising for areas affected by COVID-19 is quite advanced, and helping the community deal with calamities and individuals in need is very simple

Abstract

The presence of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has changed almost all aspects of life, one of them being the aspect of education. With the help of technology, the teaching process is done online from the home of each student. The role of parents, in this case, is very much needed in educating children for the formation of characters that are not obtained in the school environment. This article aims to determine the role of parents in shaping the character of their children during the Covid-19 pandemic through the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith. By using a descriptive qualitative research method, the implementation of the research is carried out by field observation. The conclusion of this research is that role of parents is important in shaping the character of their children n to become better children, as an educator, facilitators, motivators, and role models for the child (Al-Uswah Al-Hashanah).
