Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the progress of human rights (HR) in national criminal law through the prohibition of using analogy in determining an act as a criminal offense, as reflected in Article 1 Paragraph 2 of the new Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP Nasional). The research uses a normative legal method with statutory and conceptual approaches. In the context of modern criminal law, the prohibition of analogy is considered a manifestation of the principle of legality (nullum crimen sine lege), ensuring legal certainty and protecting the fundamental rights of individuals from arbitrary state actions. By disallowing analogy, no individual can be punished unless based on a previously established law. This represents significant progress in the protection of human rights, especially in ensuring that criminal law is not used as a tool of repressive power. The findings indicate that Article 1 Paragraph 2 of the KUHP affirms human rights principles aligned with international instruments such as the ICCPR. Therefore, the prohibition of analogy in national criminal law is not merely a formal legal step, but an ethical milestone in the enforcement of criminal justice. Keywords: Human Rights, Analogy, National Criminal Code, Principle of Legality.

Abstract

Before and during menstruation, women often experience discoomfort in the lower abdomen or uterine contractions, which is called dysmenorrhea. Dysmenorrhea can be treated with non-pharmacological therapy, namely yoga. Yoga is a form of exercise that reduces pain by relaxing the muscles, soul, mind, and body. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga on the intensity of dysmenorrhea in Level IV female students of the Midwifery Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Pasir Pengaraian University. This type of research is quantitative research with a Pre-Experimental Research Design with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The sample in the study was 20 people. Sampling used the Purposive Sampling technique. Data analysis used the Dependent T test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a change in the intensity of dysmenorrhea pain in 20 respondents. The average NRS scale of respondents before yoga was 4.25 and after yoga was 2.25 with an average before and after yoga was 2,000 with the results of the Dependent T test obtained p value = 0.000 <0.05, this means p value <0.05. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of yoga on the intensity of dysmenorrhea in fourth-year female students of the bachelor Midwifery study program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Pasir Pengaraian University. It is expected that after the study is conducted, respondents can use yoga to treat dysmenorrhea and avoid the use of pharmacological techniques to treat dysmenorrhea. Keywords: Dysmenorrhea , Yoga, NRS Scale

Abstract

The production and smooth flow of breast milk (ASI) are critical factors in the success of exclusive breastfeeding. One natural approach to enhance milk flow is through the use of local food sources that function as galactagogues, such as papaya leaves (Carica papaya L.). Objective: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sautéed papaya leaves in improving breast milk flow among postpartum mothers at the Tameran Village Health Post (Poskesdes), Bengkalis Regency. Method: This research employed a pre-experimental design with a one- group pre-test and post-test approach. A total of 14 postpartum mothers participated as respondents. Breast milk flow was measured before and after the intervention using an observation scale and analyzed with the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Results: Prior to the intervention, only 21.4% of the mothers experienced smooth breast milk flow, with a mean score of 4.36 (SD = 1.082). After consuming sautéed papaya leaves, the proportion of mothers with smooth milk flow increased to 64.3%, with a mean score of 5.64 (SD = 0.497). The Wilcoxon test yielded a p value of 0.002 (p < 0.05), indicating a statistically significant difference before and after the intervention. Conclusion: Sautéed papaya leaves have been proven effective in improving breast milk flow in postpartum mothers. The use of local food sources may serve as a non-pharmacological intervention at the primary healthcare level. Recommendation: It is recommended that health workers at Poskesdes and community health centers utilize papaya leaves as an educational alternative to support successful breastfeeding, and that further studies be conducted using experimental designs with comprehensive hormonal measurements. Keywords: Papaya Leaves, Breast Milk Flow, Postpartum Mothers

Abstract

Abstract: Hypertension is an increase in blood pressure that causes the heart to work extra to pump blood. This causes the arteries around the kidney blood vessels to narrow and risks disrupting kidney function. People with hypertension are advised to take anti-hypertensive drugs to normalize blood pressure. Therefore, compliance in taking these drugs is required. Based on Riskesdas data in 2018, there were 32.3% of hypertensive patients who did not regularly take anti-hypertensive drugs and 13.3% did not consume them. One of the indicators used to determine impaired renal function is creatinine examination. This study aims to determine the description of serum creatinine levels in hypertensive patients who take anti-hypertensive drugs in the working area of the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. This study uses descriptive method to obtain the results of the description of serum creatinine levels in hypertensive patients who take anti-hypertensive drugs in the working area of the Telaga Dewa Health Center, Bengkulu City. Abstract

Abstract: The digital age has created a fascinating educational paradox. Amidst a tsunami of technology promising interactive learning, SMK Negeri 8 Padang remains shackled to stagnant, old-fashioned lecture methods. However, is the digital generation truly ready to leave their conventional comfort zone This descriptive quantitative study challenges assumptions through an in-depth examination of students in the Automotive Fundamentals program at SMKN 8 Padang. Surprisingly, the students demonstrated high digital literacy in using Google Classroom, while also showing extraordinary enthusiasm for the platform. The most shocking revelation is that Google Classroom is not merely a tool but a catalyst for educational transformation. Students view it as a bridge to a modern approach capable of revolutionizing the conventional system into an open, technology-centric learning ecosystem. This study exposes the blueprint for vocational education transformation that will reshape the future of learning in Indonesia. Keywords:  Learning Media, Google Classroom, Perception, Automotive Basics.

Abstract

Roads that are damaged before reaching their design life often occur in various regions and have an impact on reducing comfort and public trust in the quality of infrastructure. One case occurred on the Parit IV Sei Saren Road Section in West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province, which experienced surface deformation in less than one year after upgrading. This study aims to identify the type of damage, evaluate its main causes, and assess the effectiveness of the treatment that has been carried out. The research approach is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through visual surveys, interviews with contractors, questionnaires, and daily traffic surveys. The survey results showed that the dominant damage was in the form of waves (shoving) on the pavement surface with a total area of 229.90 m² (0.91% of the total surface). From the analysis, it was found that the actual traffic load was much lower than the plan due to the prohibition of heavy vehicles. Therefore, indications of the main cause of damage are more directed at the implementation aspect, especially at the binding and compaction stages of the layers, which were considered less than optimal by some respondents. Although tack coat application was initially suspected as a contributing factor, test results indicated that the volume met specifications, necessitating further testing to ensure the bond strength between the layers. The proposed treatment involved patching caps, which involve repairs to the top or surface layer, as field inspections revealed no signs of damage to the underlying layer. This research underscores the importance of quality control during project implementation and encourages further studies using a broader approach to methods and causal variables to prevent future premature damage. Keywords: Premature Damage, Road Pavement, Types of Road Damage, LHR Survey, Quality Control.
