Abstract

n-Butanol is one of the intermediate materials used as raw material for downstream industries such as the textile, polymer, plastic, paint, surface coating, pharmaceutical, and others industries. There are several methods that can be used in the manufacture of n-Butanol, one of which is the hydrogenation process, where the raw material butyl butyrate is reacted with hydrogen gas in a Fixed Bed Multitube Reactor using a solid catalyst to produce n-Butanol. The n-Butanol plant is designed with a capacity of 5,000 tons/year. The factory operates 330 days a year, with a production process of 24 hours/day. The reaction occurs in the gas phase with a temperature of 280°C and a pressure of 10 atm, the reaction is exothermic using a Cu/ZnO/Al2O3 catalyst with a mole ratio of reactant butyl butyrate and hydrogen of 1:14 and produces a product conversion of n-Butanol of 90%. Further purification was carried out using a distillation tower in the form of n-Butanol with a purity of 99.50%. The device is designed in the form of a heater that functions as a hydrogen heater from a temperature of 30°C to 280°C before being sent to the reactor. The heating medium used is steam from the boiler. Hydrogen flowing in the heater with a capacity of 119.44 kg/hour and after calculations, obtained a heater of the double pipe heat exchanger (DPHE) type, pipe dimensions 21/2 inch x 11/4 inch with 3 hairpins, pipe length 20 ft. the annulus flows hydrogen and the pipe flows steam as a heater. The heater uses a construction material in the form of carbon steel.

Abstract

There are methods to measure the performance of intersections, including the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual and the 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual. The 2014 Indonesian Road Capacity Guideline (PKJI 2014) is a form of updating from the 1997 MKJI. The purpose of this study is to determine the existing conditions at the intersection of Sumbersari road - Veteran road - Bendungan Sutami road - Sigura-gura road at Malang City to generate traffic signals on the intersection. From the results of the analysis of the time phase change solutions that have been carried out, the results obtained for calculating the performance of signaled deposits with the degree of saturation known as Sumber Sari road of 0.78 (Service level D), Bendungan Sutami road of 1.50 (F service level), Veteran road is 2.28 (Service level F) and Sigura-gura road is 0.32 (Service level B). The level of service at the intersection is still less than optimal, where the delay for each arm exceeds the specified limit exceeding the standard 60 seconds/skr.

Abstrak simpang empat di jalan gatot subroto yang berlokasi di kota malang ialah simpang tidak bersinyal tujuan penelitian ini buat mengenali prilaku lalulintas serta kinerja pada suatu persimpangan dengan mengunakan metode mkji 1997, guna mengetahui karateristik arus lalu lintas, serta mengenali pengaruh hambatan samping dimana simpang tersebut jadi jalan yang ramai dilalui kendaran berat dengan peresentase jumlah kendaran yang sangat banyak tingginya hambatan samping tersebut berkurangnya kapasitas jalan yang ada sehingga menyebabkan kemacetan pada simpang metode penelitian data yang di kumpulkan terdiri dari data primer serta data sekunder pengumpulan data primer dicoba dengan metode suervey lapangan, sedengkan data sekunder di dapatkan dari lembaga yang berwewenang dalam penentuan kebijakan transportasi semacam dinas perhubungan serta badan pusat statistik kota malang berdasarakan hasil survey riset dari peneliti, geometrik simpang tidak bersinyal jalur gatot subroto kota malang kurang lebar perhitungan simpang tidak bersinyal jalur gatot subroto kota malang dengan kapasitas bawah (c) 6290, 9 smp/ jam, serta derajat kejenuhan(DS) 0,787

Abstract

Abstrak Bank sampah Eltari M-230 merupakan salah penggiat upaya pengolahan sampah organik dapur dengan memanfaatkan maggot. BapakmYusuf sebagai ketua Bank Sampah M-230 yang berlokasi di RW 6 Kelurahan Cemorokandang Kecamatan Kedungkandang sebelumnya telah membangun kandang Black Soldier Fly (BSF) untuk menghasilkan telur dan maggot sebagai agen konversi sampah organik dapur. Serangan hama tikus yang melubangi kandang mengakibatkan beberapa hewan seperti cicak dan semut masuk ke dalam kandang, sehingga produktivitas telur maupun maggot menurun. Upaya pemindahan budidaya menjadi didalam kamar pribadi Pak Yusuf menjadi pilihan terakhir untuk melanjutkan kegiatan budidaya. Tujuan utama dalam kegiatan pengabdian bersama peneliti PKM Unitri, ini upaya untuk mengimpelemntasikan gagasan bersama untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan turunnya produktivitas telur BSF dengan inovasi terkait rekayasa keteknikan dengan membuat kandang siang malam untuk budidaya maggot BSF berhasil terselesaikan. Mulai dari pemahaman daur hidup BSf sebagai dasar desain inovasi kandang baru, pemilihan material yang tidak mudah rusak oleh adanya hama maupun perubahan cuaca dalam waktu yang lebih lama serta harga yang lebih ekonomis menjadi target sasaran perubahan desain kandang BSF yang diberi nama kandang siang malam. Telur maggot yang dihasilkan dalam kegiatan penelitian sekaligus pengabdian ini berupa pencapaian peningkatan 9 kali lipat dari berat awal yang hanya mencapai 5 gram menjadi 47,15 gram. Kata Kunci : Bank Sampah Eltari M-230; Black Soldier Fly; Kandang Maggot Abstract The Eltari M-230 waste bank is one of the activists in efforts to process kitchen organic waste by utilizing maggot. Mr. Yusuf as chairman of the M-230 Garbage Bank located in RW 6 Cemorokandang Village, Kedungkandang District, had previously built a Black Soldier Fly (BSF) cage to produce eggs and maggot as agents for converting kitchen organic waste. The attack of rat pests that made holes in the cage resulted in several animals such as lizards and ants entering the cage, so that egg and maggot productivity decreased. Efforts to transfer cultivation to Pak Yusuf's private room are the last resort to continue cultivation activities. The main objective in the joint service activity with PKM Unitri researchers, is an effort to implement a joint idea to solve the problem of decreasing BSF egg productivity with innovations related to engineering engineering by making cages day and night for BSF maggot cultivation successfully resolved. Starting from understanding the BSf life cycle as the basis for the design of new cage innovations, selecting materials that are not easily damaged by pests or weather changes for a longer time and a more economical price are the targets for changing the design of BSF cages, which are called day and night cages. The maggot eggs produced in this research and service activity are in the form of achieving a 9-fold increase from the initial weight which only reached 5 grams to 47.15 grams. Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of the DR. Sutomo and to recognize the performance of the roads. This study utilizes descriptive methods and Guidelines for Indonesian Road Capacity (PKJI, 2014). The results revealed that the value of the Degree of Saturation (DJ) was 0.231 on weekdays in the morning peak hours with service level category B. Meanwhile, during peak hours in the afternoon and evening each had a Degree of Saturation (DJ) value, namely 0.150 and 0.111 with service level category A. The value of the Degree of Saturation (DJ) on weekends in the morning, afternoon and evening peak categories are 0.068, 0.054 and 0.064, respectively, with level of service category A.

Abstract

PT. Nusantara Sawit Persada (NSP) merupakan industri pengolahan sawit yang berencana mengambil air dari Sungai Tualan yang merupakan anak Sungai dari sistem sungai yang ada di DAS Mentaya. Titik pengambilan berada di Desa Kabuau Kecamatan Parenggean, Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur pada koordinat koordinat 2°6'13,10" LS , 112°47'49,50 BT . DAS Tualan memiliki luas 1.488 km2, dengan Panjang sungai utama 117,7 km. Tata Guna Lahan Dominan adalah pada DAS Tualan adalah Perkebunan sebesar 73,17%. Intake Tualan direncanakan melayani IPA dengan kapasitas produksi 20 liter/detik atau 1.2 m3/menit dengan pola operasi pengambilan air dilakukan selama 24 jam/hari dari jam 05:00 pagi sampai jam 05:00 pagi keesokan harinya dengan periode pengambilan selama 30 hari per bulan. Debit Andalan Q 90% pada Intake Tualan berkisar antara 4.68 m3/dt di musim terkering dan 87.1 m3/dt di musim hujan. Untuk debit Pemeliharaan Q 95% diambil dari nilai terkecil yaitu 4.48 m3/dt. Neraca air Intake Tualan menunjukkan dengan pemanfaatan 20 liter/detik dan tetap memenuhi kebutuhan debit pemeliharaan di musim hujan dan kemarau, bisa di simpulkan pemanfaatan sebesar 20 l/detik atau 1.2 m3 /menit dengan pola operasi 24 jam per hari dan 30 hari per bulan masih memungkinkan untuk dilakukan mengingat nilai neraca airnya masih surplus dengan nilai terkecil 0.174m3/detik di musim kemarau dan terbesar 32.171 m3/detik di musim hujan.

Abstract

The transportation aspect is the most dominant sector in making it easier for humans to move places. Like supply and demand, the wheels of frugality cannot be separated from the contribution of transportation. The development of the times has made land transportation increasingly provide public transportation options. Online and conventional transportation compete for passengers, one of which is city transport. This study aims to determine the performance of city transportation on the Arjosari-Mergan-Gadang (AMG) route. The research design used is quantitative using descriptive and survey types. The study was conducted by calculating the number of passengers and AMG public transportation operating on weekdays and weekends. The calculation is carried out by observing at a predetermined location point and participating in becoming an AMG angkot passenger. The data used in this study is of two types, namely primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the assessment of the performance of AMG route city transportation is classified as a good category. The details of the AMG route assessment include headway, passenger waiting time, frequency, travel time, and load factor on public transportation passenger routes AMG including good categories according to assessment standards. As for the parameters of the number of vehicles operating, service time, travel speed, start and end of service time are included in the category of less. Evaluation and improvement need to be carried out, because if an assessment is carried out per sub-variable, there is still a lack of assessment.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan formulasi tanaman krokot (Portulaca olerace L.) terhadap pembuatan isi siomay ayam. Parameter yang diuji adalah kadar protein, serat kasar, dan organoleptik. Penelitian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu: pengumpulkan bahan baku, pengolahan, pengujian atas parameter penelitian, penghitungan hasil uji, dan analisa data. Tahap yang menjadi prioritas yaitu pembuatan adonan isi siomay dengan perlakuan 5 formulasi krokot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isi siomay ayam dengan penambahan formulasi tanaman krokot memiliki kadar protein tertinggi dengan jumlah kadar protein sebesar 189.9425 mg/L, sedangkan kadar protein paling rendah memiliki kandungan kadar protein sebesar 163.8506 m/L. Untuk kadar serat tertinggi isi siomay dengan formulasi tanaman krokot memiliki jumlah kadar serat kasar sebesar 1,94% dan yang paling rendah memiliki kadar serat kasar sebesar 1,85%. Pada hasil uji organoleptik penilaian panelis terhadap kesukaan rasa dengan hasiil nilai rata-rata kesukaan tertinggi yaitu 4,250 dengan perlakuan 57% daging ayam dan 9% tanaman krokot. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of purslane (Portulaca olerace L.) formulation on the manufacture of chicken dumplings. Parameters tested were protein content, crude fiber, and organoleptic. This research consists of several stages, namely: collecting raw materials, processing, testing research parameters, calculating test results, and data analysis. The priority stage is the preparation of dumplings filled with 5 purslane formulations. The results showed that the content of chicken dumplings with the addition of purslane plant formulation had the highest protein content with a total protein content of 189.9425 mg/L, while the lowest protein content had a protein content of 163.8506 m/L. For the highest fiber content, the content of dumplings with the purslane plant formulation had a total crude fiber content of 1.94% and the lowest had a crude fiber content of 1.85%. In the organoleptic test results, the panelist's assessment of the most preferred color had an average value of 3.875 with a treatment of 97% chicken meat and 9% purslane plants. For the organoleptic test results, the panelist's assessment of the most preferred of taste preference resulted in the highest average preference score of 4.250 with 57% chicken meat and 9% purslane plant. Abstract

Abstrak Analisis kelayakan finansial mempunyai kegunaan untuk menentukan apakah kegiatan tersebut layak atau tidak untuk dijalankan dilihat dari sisi ekonomi. Hasil analisis finansial dijadikan masukan dan bagian yang jadi dasar pertimbangan untuk mengambil keputusan melaksanakan didirikannya usaha. Aliran kas yang tinggi berpengaruh terhadap jumlah dana yang diinvestasikan berlebihan, ketajaman analisis berpengaruh dalam keberhasilan suatu proyek, aliran kas yang terlalu kecil juga berpengaruh menghambat operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur kerja kelayakan finansial dan menganalisis kelayakan aspek finansial pengolahan produk dimsum krokot (Portulaca oleracea L.). Pembahasan aspek analisis kelayakan finansial dalam penelitian berikut ini meliputi HPP, BEP, R/C Ratio, serta analisis kelayakan finansial NPV, IRR dan PP. Data tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan apakah bisnis ini layak. Bisnis makanan dimsum Krokot akan bisa dilakukan. Ini berdasarkan pada: (a) Net Present Value (NPV) Positif yaitu Rp. 218.179.083,-. (b) IRR 103% lebih tinggi dari suku bunga bank 12%, (c) ratio B/C adalah 1,68, (d) periode pengembalian lebih pendek dari umur proyek yaitu 11.940 ini berarti semua investasi yang dilakukan dapat dilunasi dalam waktu 11 bulan ditambah 8 hari. Abstrct The financial feasibility analysis is intended to determine whether the activity is feasible or not to be carried out from an economic standpoint. The results of the financial analysis will be used as part of the input that forms the basis for consideration in making decisions on the implementation of the business establishment. High cash flow affects the amount of funds invested excessively, sharpness of analysis affects the success of a project, cash flow that is too small also has the effect of hampering operations. This study aims to determine the financial feasibility work procedures and analyze the feasibility of the financial aspects of processing dimsum purslane (Portulaca oleracea L.). Aspects of the financial feasibility analysis discussed in this study include HPP, BEP, R/C Ratio, as well as NPV, IRR and PP financial feasibility analysis. The data is used to determine whether or not this business is feasible. Purslane dimsum food product business is said to be feasible. This is based on: (a) Net present value (NPV) which is positive, name Rp. 218.179.083,-. (b) IRR of 103% which is higher than the bank interest rate, which is 12%, (c) B/C ratio of 1.68, (d) payback period which shorter than the life of the project, which is 11,940 things this means that all investments made can be returned within a period of 11 months plus 8 days. Abstract

Abstrak Perwujudan kebudayaan dapat berupa tingkah laku, alat hidup, bahasa, agama, kesenian, organisasi sosial, dan lain-lain, yang dihasilkan untuk membantu orang dalam kehidupan sosial. Desa Polaman merupakan salah satu kawasan budaya Kalirejo-Lawang, berada di daerah pegunungan yang subur serta memiliki banyak situs budaya, seni dan sejarah. Situs-situs ini mayoritas terkait dengan kelestarian alam. Studi ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk melakukan identifikasi komparasi tipologi rumah berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial yang ditinjau dari tingkat kekuasaan, kehormatan, ditinjau dari kekayaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk melakukan identifikasi komparasi tersebut adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yakni fenomenologi. Data identifikasi pada penelitian didapatkan dalam dua keknik pengumpulan data, yakni Observasi atau pengamatan serta wawancara mendalam atau depth interview terhadap responden yaitu warga, tokoh masyarakat, dan aparat desa Polaman. Dari hasil pengumpulan data secara kualitatif tersebut memperlihatkan bahwa tetua/sesepuh desa berada pada puncak kedudukan Hasil penelitian secara kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa ditinjau dari aspek kehormatan sesepuh desa berada pada puncak/kedudukan tertinggi. Hal ini terlihat dalam semua kegiatan dan ritual budaya di desa Polaman, warga memberikan penghormatannya pada sesepuh desa. Tetua desa biasanya memainkan peran penting dalam setiap ritual budaya. Sedangkan ditinjau dari segi tipologi hunian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat kehormatan tidak serta merta memberikan perbedaan yang signifikan. Hal ini berarti bahwa tipologi hunian yang dimiliki perangkat desa, sesepuh desa tidak jauh berbeda dengan tipologi hunian warga biasa. Perbedaan pada tipologi hunian hanya terlihat dalam material digunakan untuk pintu dan jendela, bahan atap dan dekorasi. Sedangkan ditinjau dari dimensi kekayaannya, masyarakat Polaman merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang homogeny, yakni kelompok masyarakat yang perbedaan tingkat kekayaannya tidak menonjol. Selain itu jenis profesi yang digeluti warga berpengaruh kecil terhadap tipologi rumah. Abstract The embodiment of culture can be in the form of behavior, tools of life, language, religion, art, social organization, etc., which are produced to help people in social life. Polaman Village is one of the cultural areas of Kalirejo-Lawang, located in a fertile mountainous area and has many cultural, artistic, and historical sites. These sites are mostly related to nature conservation. This study was conducted with the aim of identifying comparative typologies of houses based on social stratification in terms of the level of power, honor, in terms of wealth. The research method used to identify these comparisons is qualitative, namely phenomenology. Identification data in this study were obtained through two data collection techniques, namely observation and in-depth interviews with respondents, namely residents, community leaders, and Polaman village officials. The results of qualitative data collection show that village elders/elders are at the top of the position. Qualitative research results show that from the aspect of honor, village elders are at the top/highest position. This can be seen in all cultural activities and rituals in Polaman village, residents pay their respects to the village elders. Village elders usually play an essential role in every cultural ritual. Meanwhile, in terms of occupancy typology, it can be concluded that the level of honor does not necessarily provide a significant difference. This means that the typology of housing owned by village officials, and village elders, is not much different from the housing typology of ordinary residents. Differences in residential typology are only seen in the materials used for doors and windows, roofing materials, and decorations. Meanwhile, in terms of the dimensions of wealth, the Polaman people are a homogeneous group of people, namely groups of people whose differences in the level of wealth are not prominent.
