Abstract

Sablon or screen printing has many functions and is usually more popular in the community for making t-shirts and banners and even batik cloth. The popularity of screen printing or screen printing, which is used by world-class artists, one of them Andy Warhol and also used by Marida Nasution, causes writers to feel inspired to work using this technique, because the technique is already popular in the community, making it easy to get tools and materials. To visualize this work, the author uses an art creation research methodology with an artistic creation process. The artistic creation process requires several stages to be passed, including experimentation, reflection and finally formation. The selection of these objects is indeed very interesting because these objects are increasingly disappearing in our lives. So that in this work, we try to marry or collaborate between modern art represented by graphic art with visual objects based on local wisdom that represent tradition. The paradigm of modern art with a touch of tradition as an effort to find the roots of the characteristics of Indonesia from year to year has begun to be explored by artists in Indonesia as an effort to find Indonesian cultural identity.Keyword: Sablon, Artistic Creative, Printmaking.

Abstract

Abstrak Teknik hand-colouring merupakan sebuah teknik pewarnaan pada permukaan kertas foto yang dilakukan secara manual. Hand- colouring merupakan pewarnaan yang sudah dilakukan sejak sebelum ada fotografi warna, yang berguna untuk memberikan efek atau dramatisasi pada sebuah foto. Dari sisi metode, material pewarnanya serta pengetahuan pewarnaannya, teknik hand-colouring secara manual manjadi hal yang lebih menarik bila dibicarakan melalui konteks seni dan berkesenian, terlebih teknik tersebut telah lama digantikan oleh teknik pewarnaan secara digital.Berdasarkan uraian di atas, dapat dikatakan bahwa penulis akan menampilkan kembali teknik hand-colouring yang dilakukan secara manual menggunakan alat pewarna dan memiliki efek warna khas dan menjadi sesuatu yang unik dan menarik bila dimunculkan di masa kini, di mana kesan masa lalu menjadi kekuatan utama pada tampilan visual nantinya. Hand-colouring dalam penelitian kali ini akan dimunculkan pada karya multiple exposure photogram yang juga memiliki nilai estetis dan esensi fotografi yang sesungguhnya.Multiple exposure dalam karya photogram, menjadi teknik sajian dalam menampilkan imaji foto, yang merupakan sebuah teknik yang menjadi fokus penulis sejak tahun 2016. Dengan segala kerumitan dan kesulitan yang sering dihadapai saat mencipta karya, ditemukan photogram memiliki potensi besar untuk dapat dieksplorasi lebih dalam lagi. Perlu diketahui bahwa photogram merupakan sebuah teknik eksplorasi yang dilakukan di kamar gelap, yang membutuhkan kesabaran, ketelatenan di samping pengetahuan teknis secara mendasar yang harus dikuasai. Photogram tidak hanya berkaitan dengan bayangan yang dihasilkan, namun juga berkaitan dengan bagaimana teknik tersebut dapat dieksplorasi dan dilakukan eksperimentasi yang pada akhirnya akan memperkaya dan memperkuat penguasaan teknik yang sudah penulis miliki hingga saat ini.Kata kunci: hand-colouring, photogram, multiple exposure

Abstract

Iklan televisi masih menjadi salah satu media paling efektif untuk mempromosikan produk, mengkampanyekan program dan lain sebagainya. Promosi yang dilakukan perusahaan biasanya melibatkan banyak media baik media offline maupun onlineserta menggunakan berbagai cara seperti persuasif terang-terangan maupun dengan terselubung sehingga iklan yang ditampilkan bebas dilihat oleh para pemirsa sesuai visualisasi yang ditangkap dan berdasarkan pengalamannya masing-masing. Tujuan menayangkan iklan biasanya adalah mempromosikan produk atau bertujuan untuk meningkatkan citra sebuah perusahaan. Pada penelitian ini penulis mencoba membedah iklan televisi Pertamina Edisi Ramadhan 1442 H menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui teknik analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi iklan video pertamina pada bulan April - Mei 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklan televisi Pertamina Edisi Ramadhan 1442 H memiliki dua tujuan yaitu mempromosikan produk terbaru dan meningkatkan citra perusahaan.

Abstract

Batik modern dan kontemporer lebih bebas dalam menata atau mengkomposisikan motif atau ornament, berinovasi secara lebih bebas menjadi pilihan dalam berkreasi. Kebebasan berekspresi tidak hanya terletak pada motif atau ornament saja, konsep yang diangkat juga menjadi sebuah kebebasan berekpresi. Batik Histologi merupakan batik dengan ide dasar dari jaringan organ tubuh manusia. Histologi adalah studi tentang jaringan tubuh manusia. Penelitian ini akan mengkaji batik Histologi dari segi estetika visual Monroe Curtis Beardsley dimana dia membagi tiga bagian dalam melihat sebuah keindahan pada karya seni. Ketiga bagian tersebut adalah unity,  complexity  dan  intensity. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini akan menjabarkan bagaimana transformasi jaringan organ tubuh manusia distilasi menjadi motif batik.

Abstract

Abstract Restroom is as a supporting facility in a public building functioning to be a room for such activities as washing hand, washing face, urinating, and defecating. This room is equipped with a variety of toilet sets including washtafel (was basin), and some forms of closet, bidet and urinoir and other room facilities such as tissue paper and rubbish basket. Surakarta as a cultural, business, and trading business have many public buildings. Attention should be paid to how those buildings can have supporting facilities such as restroom with good sanitation, comfortable, and cultured as the form of good public service to children, adult, and disabled. This applied research aims to answer the problem related to the function of sanitation and restroom form existing in Surakarta and to give design-related solution based on field and literature data. The research procedure included identification, design experiment, and design trial. To explore data of artifact, literature, and informant, observation, literature study, interview, and documentation techniques were used. Design experiment was conducted using design approach and confirmed with evocative, educative, psychological, and social-cultural approaches. SWOT analysis model was used to formulate the restroom design. Design trial was conducted through such activities as design realization (experiment product) and its implementation (design implementation), evaluation, design concept perfecting, and recommendation formulation. Keywords: optimization, restroom design, public building, Surakarta

Abstract

This research on the accuracy of diction in the placement of product placement in the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pengkolan (TOP) at the RCTI Television Station is interesting considering that there are advertising products that are inserted when the soap opera is running. Product placement has become a trend to be shown in soap operas and films in Indonesia with the aim of introducing products effectively because at the same time as the broadcast time, TOP soap operas are one of the soap operas that air on RCTI with high viewership ratings. The story in this soap opera is relatively light about the life of a motorcycle taxi driver. The problem in this research is how to choose an effective diction placement in the product placement of the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pengkolan and how to place the product placement in the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pangkalan when viewed from the nature of the advertisement. The purpose of this study was to find an effective choice of diction placement in the product placement of the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pengkolan and to describe the advertising nature of the product placement found in the soap opera Tukang Ojek Pengkolan. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive research. Abstract

Realist painting is one of the competencies that must be mastered to determine students' ability to paint with oil paints. Potential students who have talents and interests become the right place for each student's for self-development. Development of technology, social culture and the world of business, industry and work (DUDIKA), make an update on the curriculum. Learning conditions during the Covid-19 period which were carried out online learning required students to study independently. Differences in the abilities of students who have talents and interests require guidance during the pandemic. Preliminary observation, the percentage of completeness level of each student realist painting learning outcomes with avarge value of 40%, that makes researchers interested to research on Class. This research method is a classroom action research. The subject of this research were class XI SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati Student in the even semester 2020/2021 with the 30 people. Collecting data technique using primary data from the outcome learning assessment student and secondary data by field observation. Data analysis method with qualitative descriptive analysis method.The results of this research that The Application of Sketching Techniques with Carbon Paper, Improves Realist Painting Learning Outcomes for Class XI Students of SMK Negeri 1 Sukawati in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This result can be seen from observation data of outcome learning assessment in the first cycle is average value of 79 and increasing to average value of 85 in the second cycle, percentage of completeness 77%, and increasing in second cycle with average value of 87% and 26 students declared completed.

Abstract

Abstract Ecoprint is a process of transferring colors and shapes to the fabric through direct contact between the leaves and the fabric. Ecoprint technique is an advancement technique in ecofashion that produces environmentally friendly fashion products. The coloring that are often used by the techniques are iron blanket technique and pounding technique. Furthermore, another technique used for coloring ecoprint fabric is using the leaves as ecoprint stamps. It works by coloring the leaf sheet with natural or synthetic dye and followed by adhering the leaf onto the fabric. By pressing the leaves that have been covered in dye, a leaf motif with its tissue will appear on the fabric. The ecoprint stamp technique is easier than other techniques. In the implementation, this technique is still considered taking a long time in the process that an eco-rotary printing technique needs to be developed. Its technique is expected to solve problems that ecoprint stamp techniques have. The engineering of eco rotary print tool as a medium on cap rotary printing technique is resulting 2 prototypes. i.e., 2 roll model, and 3 roll model. The eco-rotary printing method is inspired by a motif roll paint that are able to give color motif on the walls in a relatively fast time. Thus, the leaves are affixed to the roll combined with natural dyes to create a leaf motif on the surface of the fabric. The test results from the two prototypes of the tool are presented. The 3 roll model gives the result of leaf motif color on the fabric with better quality than the 2 roll model. This makes production more effective and efficient in terms of the time of the production process. And, finally, the results of this study are very possible to be utilized in the production of large-scale ecoprint fabric. Key word : Ecoprint, Ecofashion, Eco Rotary Print

Abstract

This research discusses the meaning of the symbol sengkalan relief sukuh temple located in Ngargoyoso, Karanganyar, Central Java. The research focuses on the problem of the interpretation of the meaning of sukuh temple relief symbols in a cultural perspective through Clifford Geertz’s hermeneutic theory, that the symbol is a special sign that is arbritrer or not the same as the one marked and can only be understood in the context interpreted by the culture itself, or is culturally specific. Furthermore, this research reviews the meaning of the presence and visualization of the relief of Sukuh temple which is considered the last relic of Majapahit kingdom. So the purpose of the research is more to explore the presence and meaning of relief sengkalan in Sukuh temple as part of the sign system in Javanese culture. At the same time as an effort to preserve the value of tradition about pralambang in the form of sengkalan that is often used by Javanese people in temple relief, in this context is sukuh temple so that it can be understood by Javanese people now as a way of understanding themselves, life and life as part of the ‘Eastern’ culture. The making of sukuh temple relief sting is possible to uncover events or events at the end of majapahit’s heyday, which may have escaped the historical track record of majapahit kingdom that has been understood. Let the temples speak, so they are not merely banners that lead us to myth and mysticism, but there is a lot of wisdom that they will whisper from the hidden meaning behind the relief of Sukuh temple.Keywords: Meaning, Relief, Sengkalan, Sukuh Temple.

Abstract

Para a arte social, esta expresión adoita utilizarse como un movemento para explorar as posibilidades que poden facer os artistas para representar a súa existencia e, ao mesmo tempo, crear preocupación pola comunidade. A presenza de obras de arte non se limita á arte só en aras da arte, senón que se pode utilizar como un medio de comunicación máis amplo, mesmo máis alá dos límites do diálogo verbal. Varias condicións sociais da sociedade poden ser dirixidas a ser comunicadas, comprometidas e colaboradas na forma de arte. O brote do virus corona, como unha condición que cambia moito o estilo de vida das persoas, é un evento ao que poden responder as formas de arte creativas e innovadoras. A arte tradicional que ten un profundo significado filosófico-simbólico cómpre mostrar nos matices das mensaxes e das esperanzas para a comunidade. A presenza da arte tradicional en forma de novos patróns dará unha profunda impresión para que poida presentar un discurso sobre o desenvolvemento de obras posteriores. Este traballo de investigación é unha das respostas ao propósito de desenvolver este traballo. Este estudo utiliza un método de exploración de motivos na creación de obras de arte artesanal, é dicir, traer novos motivos a partir dunha combinación de motivos tradicionais e obxectos do virus da corona en forma de creacións de obras de arte tradicionais. Esta obra está empaquetada cunha exposición de técnicas de talla en semirelevo aplicando un novo patrón de motivos cultivados de acordo co ámbito das técnicas de talla en madeira. Este método derrama motivos e imaxes tradicionais do virus da corona nun estilo tridimensional con tamaños proporcionais como un esforzo para aumentar a comprensión pública da artesanía cunha nova aparencia.Palabras clave: Corona Virus, Motivo Tradicional, Talla en madeira
