Abstract

The making of the work of this final project animation departs from the assumption that the development of Indonesian films is much about the search for identity or an identity, and the struggle of nationalism. However, there are still less of them involving folklore that developed in Indonesian society.By using creative formula of Kentaro Kimura style, the making of this film tries to lift the folklore in Indonesia and try to pack it interestingly. At the stage of idea creation,we do a research of the narrative element of a folklore and reconstructed to explore possibilities in making into a new story.The series of animated films Thousand and One Temple (Seribu Satu Candi) is raised and inspired from the Legend of Prambanan Temple.This film tells the twists and turns of life of Bandung Bondowoso before he becomes a prince of magic. Narratively the concept of comedy makes these stories more interesting.The use of ornamentic concept from batik for the object textures makes this work give more nuances of Nusantara.Keywords :Directing,animation,and Seribu Satu Candi

Abstract

The study aimed to determine changes in the management of the broadcastpattern of six hours to four hours through the television news program “Channel 22”in TVRI Yogyakarta. This study used a descriptive research method with the review ofqualitative approaches. Location of this research is in TVRI Yogyakarta, source of dataincludes primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained directly throughfield observations, interviews with informants, and literature. Techniques validity of thedata used is triangulation (triangulation, triangulation techniques, and triangulation oftime). Process analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model, then, thepresent data using sentences and utterances of researchers logically and systematically.The results of this study indicate that the broadcast pattern of six hours to four hours(in the news “Channel 22”) on TVRI Yogyakarta in 2013, a change that does appear inthe English language news material planning more emphasis on new material, so thatthe need for coverage in field, and not just repeat the news items that have been aired.In the new program (news “Channel 22”) contained deletion segments that existed inprevious news program (“Yogya Warta” and “BeritaJogya”). In terms of content, thecontent of broadcast news and information not meet the actual nature of the news andup to date. In addition, there is no certainty that the target audience looks at theprovision of the logo is still ambiguous.Keywords: management, television, broadcast, channel 22, and TVRI Yogyakarta

Abstract

The way in conveying the teachings of every religion known as religious identity. Filmshould be able to make sense of religious identity in the concept of spirituality as a universal wayto convey his message.Research on the representation of religious identity in the Jokowi aims tolook religious values which presenting in one of the central elements of narrative, the conflict.Representation of the concept of spirituality contained in the teachings of education in thefamily, attitudes courage, honesty, social norms, tolerance, and devotion to parents who allcomes down to the rules of how a man should live.All of this,is a form of representation of thereligious teachings of Islam on these aspects.This analysis uses the Cultural Circuit model to seethe representation system that worked on the Jokowi.Keywords:Religion,representation,identity,spirituality,and conflict.

Abstract

This paper discusses Indonesian cinema‟s representation of children after the fall of the New Order and during the Reform era. Thus, I explore Kita Punya Bendera1 (2008) that seemingly stands as the first children‟s film that places a Chinese ethnic background child as the main narrative which also focuses on the complicated situation of being a Chinese in Indonesia. Considering the state‟s overpowering political hegemony during the New Order, the key question with respect to the period of transition concerns that which remains the same amidst the change. The paper argues that, in spite of deep transformations, the cinematic representation of children remains as an ideological model for projecting Indonesia as an improved nation, which is done by featuring ethnic and racial diversitiy as it intersects with a changing idea of children and its significant relation with family culture and the education system in Indonesia.

Abstract

Local television station as one form of public broadcast media have the same role in organizing the national private television broadcasts, such as in Jakarta. Although the majority of the material broadcast was inspired by various aspects of life in the area, sometimes some of the programs broadcast before it is seeded and got a good response and interest by the audience watching it. One example is a special broadcast program material lifting of traditional art forms and cultures that are sometimes presented with a more varied format. Such as local television, Jogja TV, has now become an expectation, especially for people who are in the range of broadcasting (public areas) as one of the effective media to contribute to developing the arts and culture while preserving valuable areas of Yogyakarta (Java). As a Special Region is expected to achieve a dynamic society and high culture, so as to develop the basis that there is a tradition of innovation in all spheres of social life of art and culture, economics, and science and technology as a form of community life in dynamic city as YogyakartaKeywords: local art, local culture, preservation and development, local television, Jogja TV.

Abstract

This study focuses on observations on aspects of creative ideas. This study basically aims to uncover how creativity of Kristiadi as director formed and how the manifestation of creativity is present. This study is a qualitative research, the data obtained through interviews, direct observation, and accompanied by review of literature that are directly related to the theme of the study. Results of subsequent data processing presented descriptively, while the method of analysis performed by the data collection and then classify it, and then analyze it based on the theoretical foundation used. The study concluded, first that packaging program “Obrolan Angkring” is framed by creative ideas of Kristiadi, that is, thematic comedians initiated by Kristiadi make this program has the feel of humor that is able to entertain or the function of television includes three areas of information, entertainment and education can be expressed. Second, creative ideas of Kristiadi in the program “Obrolan Angkring” is influenced by five factors include (1) the presence of ideas, (2) creative consciousness, (3) awareness of communication, (4) social intelligence that generate awareness of the social institutions and (5) capability which produces the television media. Through these five factors makes the notion of “Gara-gara Facebook” as the theme of media offerings can be presented and produced. The process of realizing the idea in the form of display programs conducted through the stages of preproduction, production and postproduction. Thus through creative ideas, Kristiadi is able to improve the quality of the broadcast program, so it can also have an impact on the growing public interest in the program “Obrolan Angkring” produced by the station TVRI Yogyakarta. Abstract

Notebook and Netbook contain several peripherals such us interface audio in/out, portLAN, WiFi, Port USB and the integrated camera (WebCam). WebCam can be used forteleconference through GoogleTalk, Skype andYahoo Messenger. But, the facilities of streamingare the scarcest benefit of WebCam as a CCTV application of digital software. In addition, tooptimize the integrated camera, it is needed some choices to find the appropriate things, theyare comparing streaming software,observing the same objects,recording for one minutes,andlive broadcasted. Therefore, the results of observation show that Unreal Live Server hasexcellence capabilities, because it has faster streaming , the password facilities, authentication,and blocking access.Keywords:Interface,webcam,teleconference,and streaming

Abstract

A Man Space is a short fiction film that adopts masculine and feminism in a human body, which tells of a family consists of a father and three sons without a woman in the house. All was gone smoothly before there is occurs a problem where the father wanted to replace their mother figure. The film’s problems are not only the father wants to get married again, but also the problems that arise in the community. A man was called as a man because of what? The third child’s question to his father because he was the last son and still searching for his identity while his old brothers already have different characters each other though in the one house and no one could finish this problems only respond with a man way. Abstract

The objectives of this study are, first, to understand the pattern of guidance, second, to understand the choice of programme, and third, to understand duration of watching television to outstanding students at Surakarta. The data analysis shows as follows : the students watching television in a various ways; firstly, 56 % usually being together with their parents, no matter father or mother or both, 25 % being together with other family or relatives usually with siblings , and 19 % usually watching television by himself or herself. This kind of variations appear as the affect of pattern of guidance that is parents’ responsibility to be together while watching televsion. Secondly, from the choice programme, students have various of watching television, namely : 59% state that they have only several favorite television programmes. Next, 41% state that they have lots of favorite television programmes. Therefore, there is no statement showing no favorite television programmes. This kind of variation is also shown that 51% choose kids program as their favorite television programe. In queing: there are 13% to music, 12% to news programme, 11% film, 7% to sports, 6 % to comedy. Thirdly, from duration of watching, it is also shown that students watching in various condition namely: 59% like to watch television in unscheduled time, 25% like to watch everyday and 16% like to watch in sparetime (holiday). This kind of results also show that they take 3 until 4 hours daily to watch television during their sparetime (holiday), then 0 until 2 hours daily during their non sparetime (studying time).Key words: pattern of guidance, chocie of programe, duration of watching television, outstanding students.

Abstract

Animation is a technique mostly used in the film world. Nowadays it is growing intechnical animation creation. Animation has evolved from 2D animation to the nextstage in the new form, more realistic and interesting, that is the 3D animation. With thedevelopment of existing technology, the 3D animation is more amazing for the audience,especially 3D animation combined with real action (live action). With the digitalcompositing, the result of a combination of 3D and real action to make the film seemmore alive, because the animation is really close to the original in real life.
