Abstract

Campaign Anti Corruption has been declared as national movement. Those way campaigns which have been done by LSM Masyarakat Transparancy Indonesia represent positive effort to create good society and government and also to return the state authority in the world.Comment of advertisement of society service by MTI or ICAO (Independent Commission against Corruption) in many countries that have a high grade corruption quite enough to realize that the corruption will not bring the kindliness but will harm and break the nation and state. Societies require to be awaked from the importance of wipe out corruption up to its roots, because society doesn’t aware the danger yet and corruption come to be culture. The Semiotic analyze of advertisement of society service by MTI and ICAC will get the meaning interpretation which is full of visual sign either through verbal and non verbal. It’s through the C.S. Pierce semiotics approach with Pierce triadic theory in semiosis course and Roland Bartesh in the mean expressed of sign by denotative and connotative.The making process of advertisement of society service needs creativity in expression of advertisement communication procedure. There is 11 masterpiece of anti corruption advertisement of society service which is analyzed with semiotic approach that writer take away from the MTI website. Abstract

Tegel is the floor covering material having the appropriate char­  acteristics dengai cool tropical climate, strong, and durable. One of the tiles companies that still survive in Yogyakarta and has a long history is a Tegel Kunci company whose products have unique character. Based on the analysis can be seen that most of the motifs are using a variety of ornamental from Europe, especially the Gothic-style ornament. In addition to European decorative ornaments also widely used Islam or the style of "arabesque", especially in geometric motifs. Motifs used  are plant motifs, geometric, and geometric mixture of plant and ani­mal motifs. Plant motifs entirely a result of both in the stylized flowers, leaves and stems. The form used is the interest that many roses, lil­ies, lily, and tulip. The plant leaf using a stylized three-leaf clover, oak leaves, and there is a stylized form of the stem of the plant tendrils.  Ornamental pattern geometry in addition to having a visual function,

Abstract

Batik as national pride is a valuable art that developed in these regions. Batik as identity of the local arts and culture also have potential as a creative industry that is able to improve the welfare of the craftsmen. This potential is what prompted many local governments trying to revive the art of batik potential in the region. The government of Mojokerto in 2012 held Batik Design Competition which produced some designs as the winner, which are then used as typical motif of the region. Aesthetic assessment of batik design winning competition aims to determine the winner of the content of its values of beauty and uniqueness. The methods employed in the literature study approach. The study focused on a favorite winning competitian have taken title: "Citra Surya Majapahit" by Edi Eskak artists from Yogyakarta, as it is assumed to contain a universal aesthetic value so that it can be understood and accepted by the wider. This assessment matches to batik design values as the unique beauty of batik artifacts unearthed from the Majapahit kingdom. The design reflects the uniqueness of the local batik but contains a universal beauty. Aesthetic value motif present in the composition, color, compatibility with typical Mojokerto, and the amount of philosophical meaning.  Mojokerto batik design gained from artifacts unearthed relics of the Majapahit kingdom in the form of symbol known as Surya Majapahit be composed with motifs of leaves, flowers, rice, and cotton. Abstract

Cultural value-system which is formed by local genius has major influence in the development of shrine in Indonesia. To analyze the improvement, we can observe the acculturation process between Indonesian original cultures with the foreign culture. This acculturation process will constructed a new culture without dispatching the original culture. The obvious example of this process could be found through shrine’s physical characters which reflected the Indonesian cultural heritage and also the growth of Indonesian local genius. This paper will explore the development of local genius’s influence to the architecture of Indonesian’s shrine in every historical periodicity. The periodicity discussed will begin from pre-historic, ancient, madya to modern era. This paper will also discussed the prominent holy places serve also as cultural creations - of every era such as menhir, punden berundak, temple, mosque, and church along with the influential value system.Key word: Local genius, acculturation

Abstract

Recently, advertising is a competition arena of product and commercial company image. The increased number of product brand circulating makes the advertiser conduct every attempt to place the product image in the public reference. The archetype existence serves as the source code of human’s collective unconscious nature and as the joint well inside the brain containing the similar psychical content within human beings is utilized by the advertises as the foundation for arranging the commercial communication over the product.Keywords: Archetype, code, image.

Abstract

Craft art is a branch of visual art which is to be functional to meet human needs, both physicaly and spiritualy.Craft art in its development has grown in various regions. As a rule, the product of each region is specific, having different values and characteristics. ~ The material used is also various because Indonesia has many kinds of abundant raw materials.The technique of craft art is a cultural heritage which is well-preserved. Nowadays the technique is not, in fact, firm but flexible to suit the development of the age. The proof is that in order to produce or create good works of art, machines which are technically practical arid effective, are used.A craft work is not created reluctantly but based on an idea or thought. The exi sting concept is used by the artist as a means of facilitating the process of creation. Besides that, the artist requires a high degree of creativity. Abstract

The presence of Dutch in Indonesia resulted in the acculturation between two different cultures. Colonial culture (European) and Indonesian culture, each of them is supported by different ethnic has also different social structure and encounters the long assimilation process. The convergence of two cultures leads indigenous culture (Indonesian) to encounter a significant cultural transformation, this occurs because there is colonial (European) culture’s influence entering Indonesia. The influence gradually becomes greater and the effect is widespread reaching various sectors and cultural elements. Abstract

Geographical conditions of Trowulan are very supportive available raw clay, then logically the findings of artifacts found in the Trowulan made from raw clay or is often called terracotta. Trowulan has a carrying capacity as a prosperous city and a center of government in antiquity according to archaeologists, also the capital of the kingdom of Majapahit. Many of the findings in the form of artifacts that confirm the existence of Trowulan as a community center, in the form of buildings and objects supporting household activities, such as jars, piggy bank, well, wuwungan, and various sculptures as toys and decorative objects.Trowulan as terracotta city still keeps the mysteries of interest to the scientists or researchers to dig deeper into its existence as a witness to the history of Indonesia. Indonesia trip many people motivated by the existence of the Majapahit kingdom, the kingdom has a tremendous influence on his time, influence includes political, economic and art. Art in many predominantly in the form of Majapahit terracotta objects, terracotta supported by the mention of the many factors that strengthen its presence as a descriptions and evidence contained in the current Trowulan.

Abstract

Keberagaman berarti terdapat aneka jenis, bentuk atau hal-hal yang banyak. Hasil kreasi yang berupa karyakriya wayang kulit itu sangat banyak, tersebar luas dan beragam baik jenis, bentuk, tatahan sertasunggingannya (pewarnaannya).Wayang adalah warisan budaya milik bangsa Indonesia yang tidak terkiranilainya. UNESCO pada tanggal 7 Nevember 2003 menetapkan Wayang Indonesia sebagai “Masterpiece ofthe Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity”. Jenis-jenis wayang di Indonesia sangat banyak, untuksementara yang dapat dicatat ada 55 wayang, yang terbanyak adalah wayang dari bahan kulit perkamen(kulit sapi/kerbau yang telah diolah) ada 28 jenis.Wayang yang paling terkenal, lama umurnya, banyakdibahas, banyak pendukungnya serta paling banyak ragamnya adalah Wayang Kulit Purwa di Jawa.Hasilkreasi wayang kulit purwamemiliki keberagaman dalam hal:gaya, wanda, nama-nama, penggolongan,ukuran, teknik, fungsi, pola atau bentuk baku, tatahan, sunggingan, busana, perhiasan pada wayang sertakreasi pengembangannya.Kata Kunci: wayang kulit, kriya, keberagaman

Abstract

This article is taken from the result of the research by the title “Kriya Wayang Krucil di Dukuh Turus Desa Trenyang Kecamatan Sumberpucung Kab. Malang”, which mean for knowing the real condition of wayang krucil craft in Malang recently. So that for the next time it will be possible to develop the wayang krucil craft of Malangan by increasing the skill and the capability of their craftman. The type of research used here is Qualitative Descriptive. The subject is wayang krucil in Dukuh Turus Desa Trenyang Kec. Sumberpucung Kab. Malang. The sourches of the data are the numbers of wayang krucuil, some craftman, and some appreciators of traditional art form Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). The data is taken by the researcher by using interview and observation methods. After that, the researcher analyzing the data by Qualitative Descriptive Technique to the ornament and visual element of wayang krucil, and also the visual changes of them. In this article, you will know the exposition of the real condition of the instruments and the materials used by the craftman, which are very limited and simple, the capabilities of the craftman who need to be increased, the potential art characteristics (the visual element and ornamen) of wayang krucil is very interesting, and the changes of visual element the wayang krucil ensharped Malangan style which is different with other places in Indonesia, especially from Central Java. From the results of this reseach, it is hoped that there will be any attention from all of us. Perhaps we can give them some production equipments, skill training, experiments of technique in producing wayang krucil, or even by opening the nets of selling the production of wayang krucil.
