Abstract

The aim is to examine the different of math learning outcome using realistic mathematics education and conventional learning. This research used true experimental designed through pretest-posttest control group designed, there is experiment and control classed which is used as sample classes. Two sample classes were taken from  three parallel class through random class sample. Collecting the data by using learning outcome in essay form. Data analysis through ttest, which examined normality and homogeneity. The result shows that learning mathematic through realistic mathematics education is higher than learning mathematic through mechanistic approach.

Abstract

This research is aimed to acknowledging the impacts of both self concept and student’s attitude toward mathematics  on the result of learning mathematics . The method used in this research is corrasional survey methode. Sample in this research is taken from affordable population by using simple random sampling from the number of population reach as many as 98 respondents. The instrument used is questionnaire on variables of self concept and student’s attitude on mathematics  and test instrument on variables of the result of learning mathematics . After all instrument valid and reliable, the data was analyzed descriptively after the data fulfill normality test and linnearity test and the result show that distribution of the data is normal and the pattern of regression is linear. So the analysis is continued to statistic parametric analysis. Actually the research used double regression analysis. The result show that in simultaneous  self concept and student’s attitude on mathematics give positive impacts and significant impacts on the result of learning mathematics with regression equation Y = 39,653 X1 + 0,0045 X2. It means that if self concept and student’s attitude was good on mathematics, so the result of learning mathematics was good.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the: (1) influence of independence and self-concept towards problem-solving mathematics, (2) the influence of independence towards solving math problems, and (3) the influence of the concept up to problem-solving Math. Research methods used in this research is a survey method that involves students JSS in the district of Pasar Rebo, namely: SMP Negeri 184 Jakarta, MTs Country 33 Jakarta, and SMP Negeri Jakarta 103. Sampling technique used is stratified random sampling with the number of samples in the study as many as 100 students. Research instrument in the form of the now independence and self-concept, as well as a test problem-solving mathematics essay. Based on test results with significant level whose hypotheses 5% (? = 0.05) it can be concluded that: (1) there is a concept of independence and influence up to problem-solving of mathematics, (2) there is the influence of independence toward problem-solving math, and (3) There is the influence of the concept of mathematical problem solving themselves against. So, someone who has independence will form a positive self-concept so that it is able to solve the problem.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Mei 2016. This research is aimed to acknowledging the impacts of interpersonal intelligence and self consistency on mathematical learning achievement. The research was conduted on students X grade in SMA Bunda Kandung. The method used is correlational survey. Population in this research is all students X grade in SMA Bunda Kandung from two class with 48 respondents. The data was taken from even mid test on variables of mathematical learning achievement and questionnaire on variables of interpersonal intelligence and self consistency. Data  analyzed used is descriptive statistic analysis  and inferensial statistic with double regression. Based on hypothesis analysis on  ftest, fcount > ftable. So it can be concluded that there are significant impacts of both interpersonal intelligence and self consistency all together on mathematical learning achievement of the students X grade in SMA Bunda Kandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: 1) the impacts of intrapersonal question and learning discipline on mathematics learning achievement all together.2) the impacts of intrapersonal question on mathematics learning achievement,3) the impacts of learning discipline on mathematics learning achievement. The methode used is correlational survey on the students of class x at SMK Raflesia Depok, at academic years 2015/2016. Sample is taken by simple random sampling technique from 40 respondents. Data collecting instrument used quisionaire for intrapersonal question and learning discipline and test instrument for mathematics learning achievement. Data is analyzed with test requirement analysis i.e normality test, linearity test and multicolineairity test. After test requirement fulfilled, the writer did inferensial analysis for hypothesis test by using double inferensial analysis. Based on the result show that: 1) there are impacts of intrapersonal question and learning discipline on mathematics learning achievement all together. 2) there are impacts of intrapersonal question on mathematics learning achievement. 3) there are impacts of learning discipline on mathematics learning achievement.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop media games education in learning mathematics. The research was conducted to fourth grade of State Elementary School Meruya Utara 02 Pagi. Research model used ADDIE instructional model. In this research, media product has been tested by an expert of media, two expert of mathematics and an expert of instructional design. From the trial, the mean value from the formative evaluation of an expert of instructional design was 4.50, the mean value from the formative evaluation of the first expert material was 4.60, the mean value from the formative evaluation of the second expert material was 4.65 and the mean value from the formative evaluation of an expert of instructional design was 4.55. From all of the trial result, media games education in learning mathematics for the fourth grade of Elementary School is good. This is proven that media games education successfully improve the students’ mathematics achievement, and more effective in learning process at school, especially in learning multiplication for mathematics subject.

Abstract

The aims of study to determine: (1) The Effect of Decipline and Learning Independence on Math Problem Solving Skills, (2) The Effect of Decipline on Math Problem Solving Skills, (3) The Effect of Learning Independence on Math Problem Solving Sklls. Data collection Technique by giving a questionnaire for independent variables and giving a question (essay) for dependent variable. The samples taken in this study came from an affordable population of Senior High School Tulus Bhakti class X in Bekasi, on school year 2016/2017 with the sampling technique by means of simple random sampling. This research methods used is survey with multiple regression statistic analysis technique. The result concluded, (1) There is a significant influence on Decipline and Learning Independence on Math Problem Solving Skills. (2) There is a significant influence on decipline on Math Problem Solving Skills. (3) There is a significant influence on learning independence on Math Problem Solving Skills.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the increase of students’ comprehension with Project Based Learning (PBL) Model. Sample was taken 25 students. The method of this reaserch is experiment quantitative with purposive sampling. The data analysis used lilifors test to normality test and F test to homoginity test. From the  result of hypothesis used  test at the significant level , ttest 4.42 and ttabel 2.064  with the degrees of freedom (db) = n – 1 = 25 – 1 =  24 is 2.064 get ttest > ttabel = 4.42 > 2.064. It shows that H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded   that there is a significant effect between pretest and posttest. So there is an increasing of students’ comprehension using project based learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the Impacts of Metacognitive Strategy on Mathematics Problems Solving. Design used true experiment design in the form of posttest only control design. This research was done by taken two class consists of 50 students with random class sampling. Data collcection used mathematics problem solving test in the form of essay test, all questions of test was validated empirically. Data analyze used t test, after the data fulfill a series tests i.e. normality test and homogeneity test. The result is t test= 7.23 in distribution table for ?=0.05, t table = 1.74, so it can be concluded that there are significant impacts of metacognitive strategy on Mathematics Problem solving.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Android-based learning media with software Construct 2 material number for the students of Junior High School classes VII, VIII, and IX. This research use approach to research and development (research and development) with the ADDIE model of development: (1) analysis (analysis), including: needs analysis, analysis of the characteristics of the students, and curriculum analysis, (2) design ( the design), include: the creation of flowcharts, storyboards, interface design, and (3) development (development), include: the collection of material, product creation and revision, (4) implementation (implementation), in this case the researchers don't do stage implementation because of lack of time, (5) evaluation (evaluation), include the following: assessment by the expert question form material, media quality assessment now learning by the media, and now experts design development. Based on the assessment carried out by the experts, it can be concluded that the design of learning mathematics.
