Abstract

This corrasional survey research with double regression analysis is aimed at 1) acknowledging the impacts of both discipline and task commitment on mathematical learning achievement all together 2) acknowledging the impacts of discipline on mathematical learning achievement 3) acknowledging the impact of task commitment on mathematical learning achievement.  The benefits of this research is to add knowledge  and  increase the quality of national education. This research was conducted at SMP PGRI Plumbon, Cirebon District in 2015/2016 by using simple random sampling with 56 respondents taken from the number of affordable population reach as many as 65 respondents. The instrument used is test on variables of mathematical learning achievement and questionnaire on variables of discipline and task commitment and all instruments have been empirically validated. Hypothesis is conducted after the data fulfill in series of classic assumption test, i.e. normality test, linearity test and multicollinearity test. Hypothesis test with Ftest and test. The research result show that 1) there are significant impacts of both discipline and task commitment on mathematical learning achievement all together about 37,3% 2) there are significant impacts of disciple on mathematical learning achievement about 20,8 %; 3) there are significant impacts of task commitment on mathematical learning achievement about 16,5%.

Abstract

Class action: research aims to know the enhancement of student’s mathematics learning achievement after implementing the methods of learning through demonstration, images media and giving meaningful assignment to the students of class V on material about the measurement of the angle. This research was conducted with PTK method in class V SD Negeri 1 Sukamah with the number of students as much as 26. This research was conducted in two cycles. At pre cycle, the average of mathematics mark only 5.3 – under standard KKM. Approximately 50% of the students haven't mastered the material that was given by teacher. After cycle I, there is an enhancement of mathematics mark average, i.e. 6.3. This means that was nearing the criteria of KKM. So that, to improve the learning, it was held cycle II. In this cycle, it's expected that the aims of this study approaching 100%. So it can be concluded that the application of learning method through demonstration,  images media, and giving the meaningful assignment  can improve learning achievement on the material angle measurement to the students of grade V SD Negeri Sukamanah 1.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop numeracy software in learning mathematics. The research was conducted on students in class V and VI Elementary School Mangun Jaya 03 and Teratai Putih Global Islamic elementary school and grade VII in State Junior High School 3 South Tambun. The model used to develop the media are ADDIE instructional model. In this research, the product tested to one of the experts in the media, one of the experts in the subject matter of mathematics, one of the experts in instructional design, as well as students of State Elementary School Mangun Jaya 03, Teratai Putih Global Islamic Elementary School and State Junior High School 3 South Tambun divided into three test groups, The trial results media experts with a value of 3.07, which means it has a good criteria. The trial results of mathematical subject matter experts with a value of 3.40, which means it has both criteria, the test results instructional design experts with a value of 3.40, which means having both criteria. While on trial one to one with a value of 3.33, which means it has a good criteria. The trial results of a small group with a value of 3.31, which means it has a good criteria and the results of the trial field test 3,18. Thus the overall average of evaluation experts and test learners have a percentage of 82.04%, which means the numeracy software in learning mathematics named flat calculators and geometry can be categorized either.

Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of interest in learning mathematics achievement. The benefits of this research is to analyze the effect of minatterhadap the achievements of learning math. The methods used in this study is the analysis of the comparison with the present exposé performed on class X students in SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat, Kab. Bekasi. The sample in this research totalled 67 people were taken with learners how random population of as many as 207 affordable learner people. The instruments used in the form of the now 30-grain statements and already validated in empirical. Data analysis the results of research done in a descriptive and inferensial use  "test " t, with the first test of its homogeneity and normality. Based on data processing, obtained summary there are significant effects of interest to learning achievements learning mathematics in class X students in SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat, Kab. Bekasi, West Java. This can be evidenced by the acquisition value t_hitung > t_tabel  6.610 > 1.960.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of instructional multimedia on students’ mathematics achievement in State Elementary School Jatirangga II Bekasi on material geometry. The method used in this study was quasy experiment. Data collection techniques performed by administering the test after treatment to determine the result of students’ mathematics achievement. Samples were taken by simple random sampling technique selected 46 students comprising 23 students as an experimental group and 23 students as the control group. The results of calculations using the data normality Liliefors shows that both the experimental and control group is normally distributed. While the results of the homogeneity test with fisher test of both the experimental group and control both the data has the same variant or homogeneous. Hypothesis Testing using  test which produces hitung > tabel. Then there is the significant  effect of instructional multimedia on students’ mathematics achievement in State Elementary School Jatirangga II Bekasi on material geometry.

Abstract

The research is aimed to determine the Impacts of Cooperative Learning  type TGT ( Teams Games Tournament) on Mathematics Achievement at SDI Alfalah 1 Petang. Technique analysis used t test after fulfill a series of normality and homogeneity test. Based on normality test the data is in normal distribution, and for homogeneity through fisher test the data is homogen. Based on the research , it can be concluded that the average of student’s  achievement through cooperative TGT  learning is more than cooperative learning type NHT (Numbered Heads Together). So, Cooperative Learning type TGT has positive Impacts on student’s mathematics achievement on the students grade V at SDI Alfalah 1 Petang.

Abstract

The aim of the research: 1) the effect of learning method on mathematics achievement, 2) the effect of learning motivation on mathematics achievement, 3) interaction of learning method and learning motivation on mathematics achievement. It is quantitative research with experimental research. This research compared two classes with two different methods. The first class is an experiment class which was thought by cooperative learning method type STAD, whereas the second class is control class which was though by conventional learning method. This research was conducted in Taruna Bhakti Vocational High School, the amount of sample is 64 learners. Statistic was used in this research was two way ANOVA and continued with tukei test. The result of this research: 1) students’ mathematics achievement with cooperative learning method is greater than conventional method, 2) students’ mathematics achievement with high motivation is greater than less motivation, 3) there was interaction between learning method and motivation on mathematics achievement.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impacts of looked up method on learning achievement in multiplication and division on the students grade IV at SDN Mekar Jaya 10 central Depok II. The method is used to analyze is experiment method. Meanwhile, hypothesis test used t test for the average difference which examined normality by using liliefors test and homogeneity test by barlet test. Based on requirements of data analysis by using liliefors formula X2 test ? X2 table, the data is in normally distribution, meanwhile for homogeneity X2  test ? X2 table, the data’s varians is homogen. Based on hypothesis test for the average difference by  t test at significance level 0.05 for DK 58 is 2.0021 and the result is 3.752, so Ho is rejected and H1 is received and hypothesis is received. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that there are impacts of looked up method on learning achievement in multiplication and division on the students grade IV at SDN Mekar Jaya 10 central Depok II.

Abstract

This research is aim to compare the students critical thinking skills who engaged in a problem-based learning model with students who engaged in conventional learning. This is experimental research, with posttest only control group design. The population is 50 of Accounting XI students in Widya Bhakti Vocational School in Ruteng, Flores. Samples grouping on nonprobability sampling, that is saturated sampling where all of this population members are used as samples. The sample in the experimental class was all 24 students of class XI Accounting 1 who received treatment problem-based learning, while the control class sample was all 26 students of class XI Accounting 2 who received conventional learning. Data is collected through tests in the form of description questions.A prerequisite test was carried out before testing the research hypothesis: the normality test and the homogeneity test. The results of these prerequisite test are data in two groups indicated as normally distributed and both are homogeneous. Then, the research hypothesis was tested using t-test. Obtained and on a significance level of and degrees of freedom. Because then is rejected while is acceptable. In this case,  the average value of critical thinking skills in the experimental class,  the average value of critical thinking skills in the control class. The meaning of the results of this analysis are: (1) when compared to conventional learning models, the problem-based learning model has a more positive and significant influence on the formation of students' critical thinking skills; (2) The value of t-count = 4.005 indicates that the average value of critical thinking skills of students using problem-based learning models is so higher than the average value of conventional learning students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

The benefits of the research is to analyze the impacts of task commitment and locus of control on mathematical learning achievement. The method used in this research is survey method with corrasional analysis. The instrument used  is 30 questionnaire and have been  empirically validated. The research used two way Anova analysis and the result show that. First hypothesis, there are interaction impacts of task commitment and locus of control on mathematical learning achievement. Second hypothesis, there are significant impacts of high task commitment and low task commitment on mathematical learning achievement. Third hypothesis, there are significant impacts of internal locus of control and exsternal locus of control on mathematical learning achievement.  Fourth hypothesis show that, a) there are impacts of high task commitment and low task commitment on internal locus of control, b) there are impacts of high task commitment and low task commitment on exsternal locus of control, c) there are significant impacts of internal locus of control and exsternal locus of control on high task commitment, d) there are significant impacts of internal locus of control and exsternal locus of control on low task commitment. So, the writer concluded that there are impacts of both all together and separately between task commitment and locus of control on mathematical learning achievement.
