Abstract

This study’s finding is religious polarization confirming the Identity of Lombok Islamic Societies emerging since before Indonesia’s independence by taking the religious movement form. Mainstream religious movement in Lombok is Sunni one and not all of them are under organizational flag, but generally based on educational institution. Minority non-sunni movement brought an effect and wahabi movement pattern emphasizing on “the differentiation” of religious practice, so that it is not ideological wrestling but identity contestation that occurs. Then, religiosity identity of Lombok Islamic societies is material-symbolic and accommodative in nature. The accommodative religious practice occurs in tasawwuf practices and encounters acculturation as the identity of Lombok Muslim. Islamic religious Identity in Lombok Sunni has been existing long before the development of religious organization and educational institution, so that the Sasak Islamic Identity encountered acculturation as the result of natural constructi on of Lombok Islamic societies. Organizational diversity, movement, and identity solidification can be a wealth as long as it is not debated in the public space

Abstract

This research is a historical reflection of the condition of the Indonesian people who were battered by the Covid-19 pandemic, not only in the economic, political, social, and even psychological sensations of the people in doing religious activities. The interests overlap with the dedication on behalf of the community, from the self-quarantine system, large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), and, no doubt, the public who are less aware of the existence of Covid-19, resulting in the increased statistical number of Covid-19 confirmed cases. It hasbeen a year that the Indonesian people have been plagued by this never ending problem, and like a spotlight, Covid-19 always looms over people’s lives. The people’s attitudes vary, starting from the assumption that Covid-19 is God's army to finish off arrogant humans, to Covid-19 as a scientific reality proven through empirical research. The perspective dualism of the Indonesian people is interesting to discuss in the form of societal religiosity sensations, both of which have a deep distinction in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even if the religious community really understands the religion (Islam) in a deep way, of course, it is very clear how to respond to Covid-19 in the style of Prophet Muhammad SAW and the history of the companions of the Prophet.

Abstract

Abstract

The research was motivated by the social condition of poor fishing communities in the rich sea. The reality is very paradoxical, on the one hand the sea is a rich natural resource and if it can be managed properly it should be able to make the surrounding communities welfare of social and economic life. But on the other hand it turns out that it can not be felt completely by the fishing community because there are some obstacles that they face even many who live in poverty. Social capital as an adhesive, connector and network owned by the fishing community has a role in solving the problems faced by the problem of poverty. the results of research obtained from observations and interviews showed that the factors that cause fishermen's poverty are technological limitations, low level of education, capital ownership, fishing habits, limited marketing of catches. The government's policy is to provide opportunities for outside investors to invest so that they can open jobs and people at Aeng Batu-Batu Village get employment outside of their jobs as fishermen. Other policies include providing Direct Cash Assistance (BLT), Direct Cash Assistance (BTS) and Family Hope Program (PKH). The social capital owned by the fishing community of Aeng Batu-Batu Village is a kinship and kinship relationship that causes them to have a sense of solidarity and it is easy to help each other, besides there are cultural values that are maintained and implemented in the social life of the community.
