Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how investment decisions in technology businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange are influenced by factors such as leverage, cash flow, profitability, sales growth, and liquidity. By gathering annual reports and financial report data, this study was carried out on technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The population of this research is 44 technology sector companies listed on the IDX. The sample was determined using the Purposive Sampling method using criteria. There are six companies that meet the criteria, and this research was conducted for five years, so there is a total of 30 data in this research. The type of data used is quantitative data in the form of financial reports and annual reports of technology sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period, which is secondary data from this research. The data analysis method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with Multiple Linear Regression analysis using the SPSS ( Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) statistical tool. The findings of this research are that leverage influences investment decisions . The sales growth variable has a positive effect on investment decisions . The liquidity variable has a positive effect on investment decisions with value significant of 0.041 . Meanwhile, the profitability and cash flow variables partially have no effect on investment decisions, with significance values of 0.112 and 0.113 respectively .

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the landscape of the banking industry by introducing digital services that facilitate services that are easier, faster and more efficient. Customer satisfaction, which is the main priority for banking, encourages improvements in existing banking services, especially digital services. This study aims to examine the influence of features, convenience, and security of digital banking services on customer satisfaction. The research employs purposive sampling, with the population being customers at Bank Sumut Syariah Simpang Kayu Besar, and the sample size is 85 individuals. Findings from the study indicate that features, convenience, and security partially have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Simultaneous testing demonstrates that features, convenience, and security significantly positively influence customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Organizations that pay attention to work productivity are organizations that in human resources have succeeded in making good use of all the capabilities of their human resources effectively and efficiently. The purpose of this study is to prove the effect of Recruitment and Selection and Human Resources Quality on Work Productivity of increasingly dynamic organizations. The number of samples is 100 samples. The data collection technique was carried out by providing a list of questions or questionnaires online google form with sampling techniques that qualified this research was purposive sampling with SmartPLS data analysis. The results of the research hypothesis test that Recruitment and Selection do not affect Work Productivity both positively and significantly. Other test results of HR Quality variables have a decent significance on Work Productivity. Finally, this study succeeded in providing information that between Recruitment and Selection with HR Quality has a very strong correlation

Abstract

This study examines the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction at XYZ Company, with a specific focus on the role of customer service. Using quantitative methods, the study sampled 100 respondents. The research involved testing the validity and reliability of questionnaire instruments, and data analysis included multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests. The findings reveal that, overall, service quality significantly affects customer satisfaction. Specifically, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and tangibles have a significant impact, while empathy does not. This research contributes valuable insights for developing marketing and service management strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and offers data-driven guidance for gaining a competitive edge.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the factors influencing employee adherence to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) within a private manufacturing company in Batam. The study population consists of all production department employees at the company, totaling 87 respondents. A quantitative research design was employed, utilizing a cross-sectional approach and correlation analysis. The relationship between independent variables"”age, tenure, knowledge, availability of PPE, and HSE supervision"”and the dependent variable of PPE compliance was assessed using the chi-square test in SPSS 24. The findings indicate that age, tenure, PPE availability, and HSE supervision do not significantly influence or correlate with employee PPE compliance. In contrast, the knowledge variable demonstrates a significant influence on PPE compliance among employees.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the pricing strategies for tax services offered on the Sudut Pajak website at Politeknik Negeri Batam. The study combines the aspects of the SBIFT model"”Scope, Base, Influence, Formula, and Temporal Right"”along with qualitative research methods and website content analysis to assess the way service providers organize their pricing. The results show that tax service providers largely employ packaged services as a means of luring customers, and that cost-based pricing functions as a fundamental instrument for making decisions. The report also notes the application of per-unit pricing based on service volume, open pricelists for efficient pricing communication, and subscription models for defining client usage windows and improving revenue stability. These insights contribute to the understanding of how tax service providers can implement effective pricing strategies to improve service delivery, foster customer loyalty, and ensure profitability. The study encourages further exploration of pricing models in the context of tax services to refine approaches and enhance service effectiveness.

Abstract

This study investigates the enhancement of employee performance by utilizing an intervening model of organizational culture to examine the effects of servant leadership and employee engagement. Data were collected using a questionnaire from a sample of 41 respondents. Structural equation modeling (SEM) with the partial least squares (PLS) method was employed for data analysis. The analysis included testing both the measurement model (Outer Model) and the structural model (Inner Model). The aim was to assess whether employee performance can be improved through the impact of servant leadership and employee engagement, mediated by organizational culture. The results reveal that servant leadership and employee engagement have a positive and significant effect on organizational culture. Additionally, organizational culture positively and significantly affects employee performance. Servant leadership and employee engagement also directly influence employee performance. Furthermore, servant leadership and employee engagement exert an indirect effect on employee performance through organizational culture.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of Customer Experience and Product Quality on Customer Satisfaction through Buying Decisions in the Pekanbaru city community. The population in this study were the people of Pekanbaru city who had shopped at Eierg products in Pekanbaru City. Sampling in this study was carried out using the purposive sampling technique, so the number of samples in this study was 135 respondents. The data analysis method of this study uses the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis method with SmartPLS software version 4.1.0.2. The results showed a positive and significant influence between customer experience and Buying Decisions. There is a positive and significant influence between Product Quality and Buying Decisions. There is a positive and significant influence between Buying Decisions and Customer Satisfaction. There is a positive and significant influence between customer experience and Customer Satisfaction through Buying Decisions. There is a positive and significant influence of social media marketing on consumer satisfaction through Buying Decisions.

Abstract

This research discusses the cargo terminal at Batu Ampar Batam port. The root cause of the low performance is that the flow of data and information, both internal and external, has not been well systemed. This research helps improve the cargo terminal business processes, especially those related to its dwelling time performance. Business process improvement is carried out by combining BPM methods in the form of streamlining and benchmarking processes and referring to regulations related to the implementation of Inaportnet at ports. In addition, the results of the improvement were also tested for their impact with the simulation method using the BPMN simulation tool, Visual Paradigm. The results of this study indicate that improving business processes with streamlining and benchmarking methods that refer to the application of Inaportnet, can reduce the dwelling time performance of the Batu Ampar Batam port cargo terminal.

Abstract

This research examines the impact of job satisfaction on employee motivation in coal mining companies. Satisfied employees tend to be more motivated, which in turn can improve company performance. Factors such as recognition for performance, career development, and intrinsic satisfaction with work play an important role in employee motivation. This research aims to provide insight into the relationship between work motivation, employee satisfaction, and operational performance in the mining industry. This research investigates factors that influence employee engagement at work, including career development, pay and benefits, social needs, and work motivation. Using a quantitative approach and survey methods, this research hypothesizes that job satisfaction influences work motivation. By utilizing survey methods with questionnaires and interviews, quantitative data was collected from field workers in the mining sector. Statistical methods are used to analyze data and test the influence between research variables. References include theories of motivation and job satisfaction, as well as related research in the mining industry. This research utilizes a quantitative approach and survey method by distributing questionnaires to 83 field workers at PT AI. The research hypothesizes that job satisfaction influences work motivation. This study employs validity tests, reliability tests, simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and t-tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence of job satisfaction on work motivation among mining workers at PT AI.
