Abstract

Temper tantrums are emotional outbursts such as screaming while rolling on the floor, kicking, banging your head against the floor or wall, hitting yourself or others, crying, cursing. The impact of temper tantrums on children can pose a risk of injury, if they occur in the environment of friends of the same age it can affect the development of children of their age, because the characteristics of children imitate what they observe. Parenting style is a factor in the occurrence of temper tantrums. This study aims to determine parenting patterns of temper tantrums in pre-school children. This type of analytic observational research with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at the Insan Madani Meukek Integrated  Preschool in December 2022. The research sample is 76 respondents with total sampling technique. Data analysis using the chi square test with a significance level of a = 0.005 (95%). The results of the study found parenting styles with temper tantrums in pre-school children (p=0.000 <a 0.005). The results of this study are expected that parents can apply good parenting styles, such as democratic parenting because the risk of temper tantrums in children is lower than authoritarian and permissive parenting styles.

Abstract

Giving MP-ASI to infants is food or drink as a complement to breast milk given to infants, Based on research conducted in Indonesia from 2018-2020 shows data that more than 40% of infants aged 0-6 months are exclusively breastfed, while the other 60% have received MP-ASI when the baby is less than 6 months old. In 2020, around 1.5 million babies lost their lives due to improper feeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude of families with complementary feeding (MP-ASI) for infants at the Lubuk Alung Health Center in 2023. This research uses quantitative methods with Analytical Design with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 1,022 all mothers who had babies at the Lubuk Alung Health Center, with a sample of 91 respondents. By sampling using the Random Sampling technique. Data was collected using questionnaires, data processing using the SPSS program using the chi square test. The results of statistical tests were found not to give MP-ASI to infants, namely 54 people (59.3%), respondents had a less attitude in giving MP-ASI, which was 58 people (63.7%). There is a relationship between family attitudes and complementary feeding (MP-ASI) for infants at the Lubuk Alung Health Center. Conducted with a chi square test with a p-value of 0.00. The conclusion in this study is the family's attitude by giving MP-ASI at the Lubuk Alung Health Center in 2023 so that the baby's family or mother, provides MP-ASI to babies at the age of >6 months so that indigestion does not occur in infants.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the implementation of nursing care standards in the Inpatient Room of Kendari City Hospital. With a sample of 53 respondents, the results showed a significant relationship between the supervision of the head of the room and the implementation of nursing care standards (?2 = 16,345, p = 0,000). Percentage analysis showed that the implementation of nursing care standards considered sufficient received a higher percentage (60.4%) compared to those considered less (11.3%). The implications of this study provide support for the role of room head supervision in improving the implementation of nursing care standards at Kendari City Hospital. Improvement recommendations include strengthening the supervision program, improving the implementation of nursing care standards, periodic monitoring and evaluation, improving communication, and involving nurses in decision making. These steps become an important foundation for improving the quality of nursing services, creating a work environment that supports the development and satisfaction of nurses in the hospital.

Abstract

Background. Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is a global public health problem and is of great concern because of its potential to cause death and morbidity, particularly among vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, people with co-morbidities, and health care workers. The risk of health workers spreading the disease is so high that it is critical that they remain knowledgeable about the COVID-19 pandemic and adhere to the service standards established by the Ministry of Health. This study was conducted to determine the factors associated with midwives' knowledge of maternal and child health services during COVD-19. Methods. The study sample consisted of 260 health workers (midwives) in Aceh Province who were members of the professional organization IBI in 2021. A questionnaire was used to measure health workers' knowledge of MCH services. Results. The statistical test results show that there is no significant relationship between age, length of employment, and knowledge of MCH service during the pandemic (p = 0.251). There is also no relationship between working hours and Middan's knowledge of MCH. Conclusion. The general public, including health workers, has very little knowledge about the transmission, symptoms, prevention, and control of the disease. Midwives are expected to have good knowledge and behaviors regarding infection prevention and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the care of pregnant women, childbirth, newborns, and emergency complications. However, this study shows that the general public has very little information about the disease, especially in the provision of maternal health services.

Moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera) are widely used and trusted as a medicine for infections, anti-bacterial, urinary tract infections, external wounds, anti-hypersensitivity, anti-anemic, diabetes, colitis, diarrhea, dysentery and rheumatism. This research used a quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental approach with one group with pre & post test, where the researcher carried out treatment on respondents, namely in the form of measuring knowledge before and after giving a module about the benefits of Moringa leaves in improving the immune system in HIV/AIDS sufferers in the district area. Bekasi. The average pre test score is 7.40, the minimum score is 5 and the maximum score is 9. The average post test score is 8.23, the minimum score is 5 and the maximum score is 10. Of the 30 respondents the average pre test score is 7.40 and The average post test score is 8.2. The results of the statistical test showed a p value of: 0.005 (p< ?: 0.05), meaning that there was an effect of using the module in increasing the knowledge of HIV/AIDS sufferers about the benefits of Moringa leaves in improving the immune system

Abstract

Nausea, vomiting, common symptoms of the first trimester of pregnancy, occur approximately after 6-10 weeks, in 60%-80% of primigravidas and 40-60% of multigravidas. WHO estimates that 14% of all pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting. In Indonesia, of the 2,203 pregnancies that were completely observed, 534 mothers experienced nausea and vomiting. Data from Ingin Jaya Community Health Center, there were 933 pregnant people in 2021, Visit 1 (K1) coverage was 715 people. In 2022, 60 pregnant women will visit community health centers, 45 people will experience nausea and vomiting in the first trimester. Research design ; Quasi-experimental observation of two groups, pre-test and post-test. Two groups of research subjects; P6 pericardium acupressure and Zusanli ST36 acupressure each group amounted to 16 respondents. The research was carried out in the work area of the Ingin Jaya Aceh Besar Community Health Center in April -May 2023. Data analysis; Paired T test to see the results of the pre and post test of P6 and ST36 acupressure and the Independent T test to compare the frequency of nausea in the 2 groups. Research result; P6 and ST36 acupressure effectively reduced the frequency of nausea and vomiting before and after treatment, the p value for each group was (0.001<0.05), the average rank for P6 acupressure was 17.81 and the average rank for ST36 was 15.19. P6 pericardial acupressure is more effective than ST36 acupressure. Complementary methods are recommended for dealing with first trimester nausea and vomiting considering that medical management poses a risk to organogenesis

The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of nursing ethics for nurses at the North Moyo Health Center, as well as the obstacles to implementing nursing ethics at the North Moyo Health Center. This research is empirical juridical research. This research is a descriptive analysis. Field research was carried out through interviews with research subjects using open-ended interviews and deep questions. The study data were analyzed qualitatively and presented in descriptive form.
