Abstract

This study aims to explore the concept of diversity within the Sapta Darma belief system, and the strategies adopted by its adherents to navigate social change. This research employs a library research approach. According to Mestika Zed, library research involves a systematic process of collecting, reading, annotating, and analyzing data from various scholarly sources. It encompasses the examination of reference books, prior research findings, and academic literature to establish a theoretical foundation for the study. Literature review is also used as a data collection technique by analyzing books, notes, and reports relevant to the research problem. The findings indicate that the Sapta Darma belief system upholds a profound understanding of diversity, reflected in its principles of tolerance and inclusivity toward different societal groups. The Sapta Darma community employs adaptive and flexible strategies to respond to social, political, and cultural transformations while preserving the essence of its teachings. These adaptation strategies include modifications in worship practices, societal engagement, and the integration of technological advancements, particularly in the use of social media. This research provides new insights into how local belief systems sustain their existence and remain resilient amid continuous societal changes.

The sample size was determined using Slovin's formula, resulting in 99 respondents. Quantitative data analysis was conducted using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses, while qualitative data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that all service quality indicators significantly influence both patient satisfaction and revisit intention, with a significance value of p < 0.05. These results align with qualitative research findings, where interviewees stated that the quality of healthcare services in hospitals plays a crucial role in patient satisfaction and their willingness to return for future services.

Abstract

This study analyzes the comparison of zakat management in improving the people's economy in Indonesia, Sudan, and Jordan. Zakat is an Islamic financial instrument that plays an important role in poverty alleviation and the improvement of community welfare. However, the implementation and effectiveness of zakat management differ in each country due to regulatory factors, institutional structures, and patterns of zakat collection and distribution. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and comparative analysis methods. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and literature studies on regulations, policies, and practices of zakat management in the three countries. The research results show that the management of zakat in Indonesia is carried out by the National Zakat Amil Agency (BAZNAS) and Zakat Amil Institutions (LAZ) with a voluntary collection model. In Sudan, zakat is managed by the Diwan al-Zakat with a mandatory collection system, whereas in Jordan, zakat is under the management of the Sunduq al-Zakat, supervised by the Ministry of Awqaf, with a variety of more diverse social programs. The comparison shows that although the three countries have the same goal of supporting the people's economy, differences in regulations and management models affect the effectiveness of zakat distribution. This study recommends the optimization of zakat digitalization systems, increased transparency, and strengthened regulations so that zakat can contribute more significantly to the economic empowerment of the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in promoting student discipline through various teaching strategies and educational approaches. Discipline is a fundamental element of educational success; thus, it is essential to understand how teachers can serve as role models, mentors, and motivators in shaping students’ disciplinary character. A qualitative approach was employed in this study, utilizing literature review techniques and descriptive analysis. Data were gathered from diverse sources, including academic journals, scholarly books, and prior research relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that teachers can effectively enhance student discipline by applying positive reinforcement, fostering a conducive learning environment, and implementing clear and consistent rules. Moreover, involving students in the formulation of classroom regulations and adopting a democratic approach in classroom management have proven effective in instilling a sense of responsibility and self-discipline. Engaging and varied teaching methods also contribute to the natural development of discipline, reducing the need for coercion. In conclusion, the teacher's role in cultivating discipline extends beyond rule enforcement; it encompasses exemplary behavior, motivational guidance, and the creation of a supportive learning atmosphere. When implemented with the right strategies, discipline becomes internalized among students, positively influencing their academic performance and character development in the long term.

Other data was obtained through observation and literature study. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The research results show that Creative Economy Fashion, Creative Economy Crafts, and Creative Economy Culinary have no effect on Economic Growth and Sustainable Sharia Finance in Indonesia through exports as an intervening variable. So it can be concluded that indirectly, the leading subsectors of the creative economy, namely fashion, crafts and culinary, through exports are not able to influence economic growth and suistainable sharia finance.
