Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of health service quality and patient satisfaction on revisit intention, with patient trust as a mediating variable, among hospitalized patients at Ciawi Regional Hospital. A quantitative method with a causal-comparative design was employed, and primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 108 inpatients. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS version 4.0. The measurement model evaluation indicated that all indicators fulfilled validity and reliability requirements, including convergent and discriminant validity assessed through Fornell-Larcker criteria, cross-loadings, and HTMT ratio. In the structural model analysis, the model demonstrated strong explanatory power, with an R-square value of 74.4% for revisit intention and 40.7% for patient trust, and showed predictive relevance with a Q-square value of 0.668. Hypothesis testing revealed that both health service quality and patient satisfaction had positive and significant effects on revisit intention and patient trust. Furthermore, patient trust was found to have a positive and significant influence on revisit intention. Mediation analysis confirmed that patient trust significantly mediated the relationship between health service quality and patient satisfaction on revisit intention. These findings support the applicability of the Theory of Planned Behavior in healthcare services and highlight the critical role of patient trust in bridging service quality and satisfaction to promote revisit intention. The study offers practical recommendations for Ciawi Regional Hospital to enhance service quality and build patient trust as strategies to increase patient loyalty and revisit frequency.

Abstract

The level of competitiveness and sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the digital era requires strategies that are not only innovative but also integrated. This study aims to analyze the effect of co-creation, marketing, and financial management on SMEs' business value and competitiveness in the Garut Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative research type. The study population was all SMEs registered at the Garut Regency Cooperative and MSME Office, with a sample of 80 respondents determined through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a closed Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, and classical assumption tests. The results showed that co-creation strategy, marketing strategy, and financial management significantly positively influence both partially and simultaneously on increasing SMEs' business value and competitiveness. Customer involvement in innovation, implementation of digital marketing, and sound financial governance proved to be essential foundations in building SMEs' competitive advantage. The findings provide theoretical implications for developing collaboration and digitalization-based competitiveness models and practical implications for SMEs and the government in designing more focused and sustainable development strategies

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage, firm size, and investment decisions on financial distress with GCG as a moderating variable in the transportation and logistics sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2023. This research uses quantitative methods with Moderated Regression Analysis techniques. The research population is transportation and logistics sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2023 with a sample of 56 through purposive sampling technique. The results state that leverage does not contribute to financial distress, firm size contributes to financial distress, and investment decisions do not contribute to financial distress. GCG increases the relationship between firm size and financial distress, but GCG cannot moderate the relationship between leverage and financial distress and GCG is unable to moderate the relationship between investment decisions and financial distress. This research suggests that companies manage assets appropriately and implement good corporate governance to ensure asset control.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of Quality of Nursing Work Life (QNWL) on the performance of nurses at Kasih Herlina Sorong Hospital, focusing on key dimensions such as working conditions, job satisfaction, work-life balance, and various factors that either support or hinder nurses' ability to perform effectively. The research employs a quantitative approach through observational methods, specifically using a cross-sectional research design, which involves collecting data from a defined population at a specific point in time. The intent is to examine how different elements of QNWL contribute to overall job performance. Based on the results obtained, it is evident that components such as work-home life balance, job design, and external work conditions have a significantly positive effect on nurses’ performance. These factors contribute to a more supportive and conducive work environment, thereby enhancing motivation, reducing burnout, and increasing job efficiency. Consequently, when nurses experience better work-life integration, clearly structured job roles, and favorable external work influences, their performance levels tend to improve. Interestingly, the study also reveals that the internal work environment, which may include interpersonal dynamics, organizational culture, or internal policies, does not have a statistically significant influence on performance outcomes within this context. This finding highlights the need for hospital administrators to focus more on improving external factors and job design elements that directly affect nurses’ daily functions. Ultimately, this research provides valuable insights for hospital management seeking to enhance nursing performance through strategic improvements in work-life quality.

Abstract

In the growing digital era, the application of technology in marketing is important to increase customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the effect of artificial intelligence (AI)-based digital marketing implementation and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty at the Bandung Wholesale Centre. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive and analytical design. The population in this study were customers and merchants operating in the Bandung Wholesale Centre, with purposive sampling technique, involving 150 respondents (100 customers and 50 merchants). The location of this research was at the Bandung Wholesale Centre, and the research was conducted within a span of two months. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis to describe the characteristics of respondents and multiple linear regression to test the relationship between variables. The results showed that the application of AI-based digital marketing and customer satisfaction did not have a significant influence on customer loyalty. This finding indicates that price and product quality factors are more dominant in influencing customer loyalty in traditional wholesale centres. The implication of this study is that while technology can improve customer experience, grocery centre managers need to focus on basic aspects such as price and product quality to increase customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research examines the identity negotiation process of punk children in the city of Semarang as part of subcultural dynamics in the context of a pluralistic urban society. Punk children are positioned as a marginalized group that faces stigma and social exclusion, but also shows adaptive capacity through various resistance strategies and community solidarity. Using a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The research results show that punk children negotiate their identity through symbolic performativity, situational adaptation, use of digital space, as well as social and artistic activities that build dialogue with the wider community. Community and internal solidarity play an important role in forming and maintaining collective identity amidst external pressures. This study confirms that subcultural identities are dynamic, and punk subculture is an alternative form of expression that contributes to the city's social diversity. These findings highlight the importance of a humanist approach in understanding the existence of subcultures as a legitimate part of urban society.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically investigate the impact of hospital digitalization as an independent variable, patient satisfaction as a dependent variable, with operational efficiency acting as a mediating variable. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research utilizes explanatory research to examine the causal relationships among sample variables through a survey conducted with 105 respondents who have received services from hospitals equipped with digital technology. A questionnaire featuring Likert scale-based questions was utilized for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicated that digitalization in hospitals influences patient satisfaction, with operational efficiency significantly mediating the relationship between digitalization and patient satisfaction. The implications of this study for hospital management include the importance of prioritizing investments in digital infrastructure development and enhancing human resource capacity to optimize the implementation of digital transformation. This study establishes that digitalization extends beyond mere technological innovation; it constitutes a strategic element that plays a vital role in significantly enhancing the quality of health services and overall hospital performance.
