Abstract

The background of this study is to understand how the level of patient satisfaction can affect the image and performance of a hospital, and to identify factors that contribute to patients' satisfaction and/or dissatisfaction. This study also aims to provide strategic recommendations for hospitals in improving the quality of service and creating a better patient experience. This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence patient satisfaction in hospitals, focusing on the quality of medical services, hospital facilities, communication between patients and health workers, and service waiting time. Through a quantitative approach using a survey of 200 respondents consisting of outpatients and inpatients, the data obtained were analyzed using appropriate statistical methods, such as linear regression or SEM-PLS analysis, to identify the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the analysis were used to draw conclusions about the factors that most influence patient satisfaction. The final step is the preparation of a research report containing the main findings and recommendations for hospitals in improving the quality of service and overall patient satisfaction. The results of the study indicate that the quality of medical services and communication between patients and health workers have a significant influence on the level of patient satisfaction. In addition, hospital facilities and service waiting time also contribute to determining patient satisfaction, although to a lesser extent. SW Hospital needs to maintain and continuously improve the quality of medical services and existing facilities to ensure patient satisfaction levels remain high.

Abstract

Sandwich generation conflict occurs when individuals face challenges due to dual roles to balance the demands of work and family responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the status of the sandwich generation affecting individual careers, as well as to find out the inhibiting factors and drivers of the career development of the sandwich generation. Using qualitative methods, this study obtained data through interviews with 15 informants. There are negative results in the results of the sandwich generation's status on individual career development, namely individuals have a burden because they finance their own lives as well as their families and delay career development because they prioritize family responsibilities. The positive result of the sandwich generation status on career development is high work motivation. There are inhibiting factors, namely the sandwich generation often postponing career aspirations or further education due to urgent family needs and stress due to double demands. In addition, there are driving factors, namely support from superiors who focus on performance without considering personal conditions, support from colleagues in the form of encouragement to participate in certification/skill development, and fellow sandwich generations who support each other emotionally and help focus on work

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has changed marketing strategies worldwide, including in Indonesia. One growing trend is the use of live streaming, which has become an effective tool for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This study explores how English is strategically used in live-streamed sales to support Banyuwangi’s traditional batik MSMEs. Using a mixed methods approach, the research combines qualitative analysis of language use and quantitative evaluation of marketing performance. Data were collected through observing live streaming sessions, interviewing business owners and hosts, and analyzing engagement and sales metrics. The results show that English phrases such as “limited offer,” “buy one get one,” and “check out now” are used to build urgency and emotional connection. The use of both English and Indonesian (code-switching) helps increase audience engagement, improves brand image, and adds a sense of professionalism. Quantitative findings indicate a 17–24% increase in sales within 24 hours after sessions using mixed language strategies. However, some hosts face challenges such as mispronunciation and lack of confidence, suggesting the need for practical English training. This study concludes that English is not only a communication tool but also a symbol of modern branding and global readiness. The findings provide useful insights for empowering MSMEs and contribute to business linguistics, emphasizing the importance of language in digital marketing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Mukti Ali’s thoughts on multicultural education and their relevance to contemporary Islamic education in Indonesia. Mukti Ali's ideas, which emphasize the values of religious pluralism and interfaith dialogue, have the potential to serve as a vital foundation for developing a more inclusive, tolerant, and adaptive form of Islamic education in response to social and cultural diversity. This research is categorized as library research (Sugiyono, 2016). Data collection was based on a literature review, including Mukti Ali’s works, scholarly writings, research reports, internet sources, magazines, and other relevant literature aligned with the focus of this study. The literature review was then analyzed and presented in a structured review format. The study refers to two types of data sources (Ary, D., Jacobs, L. C., Sorensen, 2010). First, primary data were obtained from several of Mukti Ali's books, such as Religion in the Struggle of Contemporary Society, Interfaith Dialogue, The Intellectual Landscape of Modern Islam in Indonesia, among others. Second, secondary data were taken from various scholarly works (e.g., academic journals, theses, dissertations, etc.) that discuss Mukti Ali’s thoughts on multicultural education and their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. The results of the study show that, although Mukti Ali’s ideas are highly relevant to contemporary Islamic education, their application in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum remains very limited. Some of the main challenges identified include the lack of teachers’ understanding of multicultural education, insufficient integration of pluralistic values into the curriculum, and cultural and social barriers within society that still lean toward exclusivity. Nevertheless, Mukti Ali's thoughts offer significant solutions in addressing radicalization and intolerance through a more moderate and diversity-respecting educational approach.

Abstract

This research explores how pricing strategies, financial literacy, and risk perceptions influence decisions to utilize online loan services, with a focus on online satisfaction as an intermediary factor. The study aims to pinpoint key determinants affecting the acceptance of online lending platforms in Indonesia. Employing a quantitative method, data were collected from a sample of 100 individuals who have previously used such services. The findings indicate that pricing, financial knowledge, and risk perception significantly influence users' decisions to engage with online lending. Moreover, the role of online satisfaction as a mediating variable was confirmed. This research adds to existing literature by offering a deeper understanding of consumer behavior in the fintech lending sector in Indonesia, providing valuable insights for policymakers and industry professionals to enhance the uptake of online loan services in the region

Abstract

Currently, environmental issues are largely connected to corporations that typically depend on complicated and extensive supply chains. At PT. TRAKINDO Surabaya, raw materials are housed in expansive storage facilities situated outside the city and at a considerable distance. This setup leads to significant carbon emissions from the vehicles used to transport these materials. PT. TRAKINDO Surabaya serves as an authorized distributor of heavy equipment from Caterpillar, a premier American manufacturer with a presence in industries such as mining, construction, oil and gas, forestry and agriculture, and power systems. In the industrial arena, global competition is intensifying as consumer demands escalate. Supply chain management can now be categorized into two kinds: conventional management, which primarily aims to raise value, and eco-friendly supply chain management. Consequently, a thorough analysis of different production facets is required, considering aspects like production, suppliers, and procurement. The GSCOR method is one such approach that can be adopted. This study introduces refreshing insights by offering recommendations to address challenges with suppliers, including delivery delays, constrained delivery capacity, price volatility of raw materials, and material quality concerns. These initiatives seek to enhance each supplier's efficiency at PT. TRAKINDO Surabaya and support the company in minimizing waste from production remains

A quantitative research method with an explanatory approach was used, with data analyzed using Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). A total of seven hypotheses were tested in this study. The results showed that corporate image and service quality have a positive and significant influence on patient satisfaction. In addition, corporate image also has a positive and significant influence on patient loyalty, and patient satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on patient loyalty. Another important finding is that patient satisfaction is able to mediate the influence of corporate image on patient loyalty significantly. However, service quality does not have a significant direct influence on patient loyalty, and patient satisfaction is also unable to significantly mediate the influence of service quality on patient loyalty.
